1 forced fumble this week....

Once we get up by 20+ we will go into conservative ground and pound (yawn) mode and eventually either Miami will cover the line or Fitz will throw a bunch of picks. The odds are probably close to what the final gap will be.

I’d settle for Jets will wipe out Pats QB. That is all we need. I’m lookin at cheap shot Adams #33 to do that handy work.

If this is an “easy” game, why would they lean on Singletary as a few have suggested, when they can get him his usual limited touches to test him out and then unleash him next week against the Eagles when it matters more.

Glenn apparently asked for his release ...does anyone think Cordy is just thinking he will get quickly picked up by the Pats ? Maybe the typical Pats back-channeling his agent.

I wasn’t comparing the two in contract or talent. I was suggesting Cordy thinks he has that level of value, which is a joke.

If we go 15-1 it means we beat the Pats in NE so maybe we are the 1 seed ..... I get it. The Pats will lose at least 3 this year.

Cordy just doesn’t want to be there. He sees a total rebuild and he has been there done that with us. Next he’ll be making Trent Williams like trade demands. The problem is he just isn't as good as his big paycheck. I liked him when he was here, but I’m pretty happy he’s gone now.

I get it but, now winning that top seed makes anything possible. Time to stop being passive. We are 1.5 games out and the threat of KC even if you win the division looks less daunting with their defense in shambles and Mahomes looking like he may be nursing multiple injuries as he plays this year. Time to go for it. Belicheat will be making deals so we better.

Well hearing he misses minimum 3 games so KC could easily lose against GB next week. With a 2 game head start on KC it could be time to go for broke at the deadline because we may never get a top seed chance like this in the Brady Mahomes era....

I have no problem signing Kap as a 3rd stringer if Allen went down. However he isn’t good enough to start in this league and he brings unnecessary attention to a team without bringing the high end talent that makes it worth it. They went from Brown because he was a top 4 league WR, so his distractions made it worthwhile. Kap’s distractions aren’t worth it because he isn’t a top end talent. That’s the bottom line.

It’s about establishing a culture of expectation on offense not just defense. Winning by scoring 17-20 points won’t get us anywhere in meaningful games.

So keep them in the game by being conservative??? Seems like a bad strategy to me. The kid isn’t the problem, the attitude that we have to play run first football is. You can control the game with short and play action passing also. The kid can do that. I trust he will turn it over less than Rosen 100% .

Wrong. Winning 14-13 isn’t good enough. He needs to set a tone that we will trounce teams we should trounce at home The best teams go for the throat and keep the pressure on. If we want to be that team we can’t be 4 yards and a cloud of dust and win every game by 7 points.

I would give up next year’s first for Diggs in a heartbeat. The 22nd-26th pick in the draft which we would likely use on an unproven WR or Edge for a 25 yr old WR on a good contract for 4 more years. That’s a no brainer to me. If we were picking top 15 I would feel differently but I can’t see how we fall below 10-6 without major injuries.

McDermott needs to start showing us he has a killer instinct. Miami is the worst team against the rush so he will probably run 70% of the time and make it a 24-13 game. Be merciless and go for the jugular and go open set and put up 21 in the first half and put your foot on their neck like real playoff teams at home would do!!! This game could be 38-13 if we stop playing not to lose.

12-4 and win one playoff win. If we get a WR1 at the deadline we could win the division and get farther.

Never for 2 old guys. Von’s price would set our org back measurably and our defense would be better served finding rush in FA and the draft in the next 2 years. There are younger players to be had with better asking prices.

Tre or Micah are the only legit guys with a shot and only if they get 7 picks. Possible if they can load up on turnovers against the weak teams.

Lack of seam plays. Singletary opens up our wide runs and breaks some of those Gore runs where we get 10 yards instead of 30 yards. Screens. Every one seems to get read and blown up. Why are they that easy to read. Fix it! Lack of deep potential since everyone rolls their safety to Brown. If Foster isn't that guy, they need to get someone who can be that guy...NOW 2nd TE who has an impact. They need Kroft. Sweeney will be on the practice squad when he gets back because he has more drops than catches and hasn't shown much. Lack of Trap Plays. When we run them, they work. Run More. QB Sneaks on 4th and 2.. Bleck!

This is why we don't win. Be bolder. If we get to 7-1 go for 15-1. Not settle for "we can be a wild card at 11-5 and maybe win a game" mode. We as Bills/Sabres fans always feel like there needs to be a linear winning progression. There isn't. Ask the Philly Eagles. They went from 7-9 to winning a Super bowl.. I am not saying we will win the Super Bowl. I am saying every year we make Brady not win one and Brady feel farther from the top of the heap makes it easier for him to want to retire and for us to get to the top of that heap. Be bold and not just play for wild cards !!! You can be bold without giving away a bunch of picks. New England makes trades all the time and still comes out with a ton of picks. Just don't mess with round 1 and we can do just about anything else. This team has depth and money.

I don’t want another old outside rusher. We need need youth at edge. Kerrigan is a good player but at that price we need youth.
