  1. Beane says always looking to improve and he certainly is an upgrade on Foster. So why isn’t Foster dressing? Are we sitting him because he is about to be a trade chip for another WR? How about Foster plus a 2nd/3rd for John Ross as an alternative? Go big or go home.
  2. Said no Bills fan ever....
  3. Random suggestion...Robbie Anderson ? Jets are out of it and he is on a 1 year deal and probably won’t resign there. Jets probably have no depth to even consider it.
  4. I always figured Beane would wait until after we beat Philly so we can prove we are still within a game of the Pats or he won’t do anything. It may be too late then though.
  5. You look for the little yellow flag on the screen after every positive gain over 20 yards...
  6. My tone is our team wants to know that we think we can win it all. We don’t make moves yet every team who thinks they have a shot is rumored to be seeking WR help. Yes we have no WR2. Yes we have very few sacks. Both of those factors may mean the difference in being a wild card first game loser and going an extra game or two. Why does it matter ? Because next year we have a ton of money and free agents want to play for a team ready to win it all NOW, not 3 years from now. I wouldn’t invest a 2nd in Sanu, but making no deals, which I fear Beane will do, says we aren’t willing to win now. That sends a message to the team and other players in this league whether it’s unintentional or not. This team can get depth in the draft but you can always use edge and WR playmakers. We aren’t one player away, but our offense needs playmakers so let’s get one or two. Two big plays a game might change our future dramatically.
  7. Well the Pats improve while we just sit tight and say how happy we are to make the playoffs. I guess that’s the difference between “playoff caliber” and “championship caliber.” Well at least we didn’t waste a 2nd rounder, which to me was an overpay.
  8. B-. He doesn’t have much of a screen game, doesn’t throw outs, doesn’t seem to have really gotten the most out of Singletary and puts Allen at risk with all the designed runs IMO.
  9. I couldn’t hear it on the 40 yard line 25 rows up for a game earlier this year. Can’t imagine paying for season tickets and having a bad PA system. Even the shout song sometimes sound crappy.
  10. I’m sure the 13 year old couldn’t have said anything worse than what he hears every game on the field... Hilarious.... kid has a future as a pro wrestler.
  11. They’ll get LBs fixed. I worry more about teams using our gap shooting DLs against us.
  12. I really didn’t like our run defense today. Big chunks up the middle is not a good thing. Too many 2nd and longs turning into 3rd and short after long runs.
  13. Beating Dallas on Thanksgiving would be a nice way to make a statement for the kid. Basically the way this team calls games he is never going to be given chances at 300 yard games unless someone takes an 8 yard crossing pattern 75 yards.
  14. This is just becoming silly now. If you actually think Allen is on the same level as Mitch or Bortles then you have a screw loose and you obviously just live to complain about the best QB we have had in 20 years. I live in Chicago, Mitch sucks and they won’t go more than 8-8 with an awesome defense primarily because of him.
  15. Sorry but no below average QB is 5-1. Stop blaming him for the lame play calling and coaching telling him to throw 7 yard passes all game. If you want 300 yard games, then you will have to wait for 1) another outside WR because we only have Brown. 2) another coaching staff because this one is conservative and isn’t playing KC ball.
  16. B-....I don’t blame him for the penalties, the odd game plan which never really established a rhythm, the lack of play action calls, and the drops. He actually would have been an A- for me if he hit the open Bomb and thrown that 1 ball away after scrambling for 20 seconds before the half. I really didn’t think he looked that bad in half 1. The whole team looked out of sync in half 1 and that’s not uncommon after a bye. He is doing what what he is being coached to do, play conservatively.
  17. He cost the team points today. He will learn from it. Hopefully this isn’t him pushing because of hearing Kroft footsteps.
  18. I ignored my obnoxious wife who kept saying we were going to blow it during the entire 4th quarter even with a 10 point lead.
  19. Ok, so who is old ??? Gore, Hauscka and Alexander and that’s about it... this is a young team. The reality is this whole offense is new. It might be week 12 before we rally know what our offense is capable of especially since Motor was out. I fully expected a crap first half. Off week + crap opponent at home usually means uneven rusty execution and those penalties showed it.
  20. Glad I decided to go to a Chicago Bills backer bar today so I could be surrounded by another 200 pissed off people for this crap show...
  21. How about every NFL fan from every city he screwed gets $1 every time we see a story about him complaining to the league?
  22. Wow they are win now or they are screwed. Especially with Gurley’s knee.
  23. I was a Sabres fan well before I was a Bills fan because I saw the Sabres on cable well before I ever saw many Bills games. On GR Howard and Jeremy talk plenty about the Sabres plus the instigators is probably the only 2 hours you will find in any major city dedicated to pure hockey outside of Canada.
  24. Well Hapless Bills Fan has this right that this rating could have a lot of flaws and no one should jump ship over it. However the clear points to me are: a) Josh need to improve b) Josh won’t get any love until he starts putting up some big yardage games. c) Josh makes plays in almost every game that makes you go “wow.” I haven’t seen these QB escape plays since Flutie, and some obvious high end talent plays in a Bills QB in 30 years. is he the franchise QB we hoped for? I would say it’s leaning to a yes. I think we will know that by the end of next season. He has plenty of games left this year and next year we have a boatload of $ to add even more weapons and talent to truly see what we have. Imagine if Josh had KC’s WRs and TE....
  25. Living away from Buffalo, I randomly listen to all of the WGR podcasts. I prefer Jeremy and Howard in the morning over them all for football. Murphy and Tasker just seem to be filler with so much babble and redundancy although their guests are usually good so they would rank second. Schoop and the Bulldog are not actually worse than Tasker but have a very low tolerance for idiots calling in. I can honestly say that there are some extremely good calls from fans and some of the dumbest calls I have ever heard. I listen when I walk many miles every day and even I would hang up on some of the moronic suggestions. If I have a few hours a days to dedicate to WGR, it’s always some of the morning show and the instigators if the Sabres are decent. I often search the radio.com app on my phone and seek out the specific interview guests by show based on what I am interested in. Sure beats sitting through Tasker or Rivet telling me about donut drive throughs for 30 minutes at a time.
