I second that living in Chicago. That guy is mud in this town. He ranks lower than Cutler’s last year and that’s pretty low.

He is getting worse every week. His grade was a D for the last game. No play action, no outside runs, slants, screens, outs, little deception....yuck

He will sit the WR1 and dress Foster so he can play special teams.....

If we get to 8-3 going into Dallas we should be ecstatic considering our anemic offense, regardless of the competition level. We can’t finish worse than 10-6 to get a WC and 7-4 may make that tough. The worst part is I think Beane will be deadline silent now even for value moves because the division is gone.

I like Devin. I felt like he was running into a wall most of his runs. Our interior line was ugly and every team knows we don’t run wide right so that eliminates 1/3 of the field. We need a true right tackle. We are rotating guys there because neither are the answer.

As someone who lives in Chicago let’s not compare this offense with the Bears. The Bears throw 4 yard passes all game long and then expect the defense to pull the game out. The Bills run a lot of 8-14 yard plays but their play calling, running game, is suspect. We don’t throw slants, screens, or even run outside the tackles very often. We are entirely predictable other than the 3 or 4 plays run off that jet pitch package and we sat that guy today. Our offensive identity is unknown. The Bears know their identity, it’s 4 yard passes.

Sorry I don’t think we have the pieces yet. Watch our spread passing plays including that 4th down play. Josh has no one open too often and that’s a big problem. A bad secondary blanketed our WRs today often. It’s not just design.

B-I-N-G-O And this is why I am clamoring for a trade for another WR. We just don’t have enough weapons to compete and 1 more draft likely won’t fix that either. This is the NFL and scoring under 24 won’t win you games against the best teams regularly. But with this loss putting us 2 back of the Pats, I doubt Beane makes any moves of consequence because he knows we are likely not challenging for the division.

The first half ends with the usual Bills fan frustration...poor running, mediocre play calling, no deep passing game, silly turnover, few points. Well at least we seem to be a 2nd half team. It’s all about making a statement on that opening Eagles drive and the subsequent first possession of ours!

Another TD here could make this game one sided. Time to send a message and prove we can run it
