Totally disagree on David. Anyone who saw him last year could see signing him to a 2 year bridge deal until we figure out who our next starter is. He is a huge upgrade over Tremaine. Saffold was never in the same stratosphere with David.

Who wants to give a highly guaranteed deal to some guy who had been largely hurt for 2 straight years and gets hit constantly and is a run first guy? Zero takers on that Lamar! His ego is self restricting his own value. Every year his value will go down because every year he gets older and farther away from his MVP year and it’s quite likely he will have more leg injuries. He’s blowing it and I will bet he will become a cautionary tale of what not to do. He thinks he is standing up for his rights because he doesn’t want an agent getting a slice but in reality it’s all about ego and not wanting someone to tell him what I just said. He needs to get the long term big money deal while he still can.

Notice Po is now being told he is only worth 11 which is what Buffalo told him and he is begging for 3-4 more in incentives. Now he is just begging for term and/or incentives because if he signs for the same thing the Bills paid him he just looks like a bad guy for leaving town for the same money he just made. No one will be paying him his 14-15 million. He is learning the lesson honey badger learned last year and Beane told him so last year. His wife just needed to learn the same lesson. $20/yr is a joke. He might get 16.5 per at a 2 year deal with extra incentives for yards, catches, games played, and pro bowl, afc champ, Super Bowl bonuses, etc. but I would only guarantee a % of it based on X number of games played. You have to figure if JuJu is getting 16 he should easily get that.

Let’s face it Green Bay only had 25 years of Great QB play in a row. They didn’t have to ever develop a QB plan, unlike the rest of the NFL. They have no clue how to do it. What did we do during our 20 year QB drought with drafting and developing QBs. Crap. If you don’t pick the right guys, it doesn’t matter what your “development and retention plan” is.

Ask one question, why does he last 1 or 2 years everywhere he plays if he is so talented? It’s either mental, effort, or both.

We don’t need an undersized 3 tech who wants 12 million and gets bullied at the point of attack without immediate gap penetration and gets 2 sacks a year. His type of play puts more pressure on our need to have a dominant 1 tech which we don’t have. I would rather we go steal a great high paid bully 1 tech than keep Oliver.

At this point Fletcher. The 18 million dollar question is Edmunds at his potential yet or is it still coming? Either way in today’s NFL he isn’t worth 18 million a year unless he is a dominant perennial all pro in my book.

The term rebuild is for hockey teams and truly bad teams with no quality players. That being said the 90s’ Bills had something like 7 players from their 1st Super Bowl left when they took the field for their 4th Super Bowl. So technically all team constantly rebuild. I personally don’t think Poyer or Singletary are on this team next year because of $. Saffold is questionable. They also better stop paying Taiwan Jones before he turns 40.

Rooting for Cinci because of their help to 3 but if the Niners win I am in no way rooting for either AFC team because they and their fan bases have proven both too arrogant. If it’s Dallas and KC I will barf.

I am always cautious of the mad emotional extremism that occurs at the end of the last game which we are all guilty of. One conclusion I do think I will stick with is the Bills looked exhausted. I feel this year the ending was partially due to being too emotionally and physically drained from the events of the year and it was just their time to bow out today. It mattered as much as talent.
