  1. I was always positive GB was the timetable but I just get the spidey sense now it’s going to be much longer. I’m wondering if he isn’t coming back closer to Thanksgiving. Hope I’m wrong.
  2. Great win… I want Shakir in there versus Crowder next week. Crowder has been a drop machine this year and is surprisingly not dependable on offense. The looks on Poyers face on the bench after the pick tells me he is hurt again. Davis shouldn’t be playing if he is going to be a non factor because he can’t run and then he’s dropping balls all over the place. I haven’t seen whether his blocking is making up for it, but he really just needs to get his foot healthy first. Why is it that our run game and Devin only show up in the second half of games? Why have we abandoned using Dawson this year? If Milano doesn’t make the pro bowl, something is wrong with the vote. He is all over the field every game while on national TV every week. Same with Poyer, but I question whether he will play enough games this year.
  3. You dont have to activate him at 4 weeks to eat up a spot. It can be any week after. I bet they wait to activate him KC week. Lose a spot for that week and then have the following week off and then play him for GB. Most players with an ACL require 3 weeks of full practice.
  4. Lots of fun trash talking the Phins youtube boards tonight. They went from “we are the best” to “ our season is over” to “Tua will be playing next week.” Insanity. Please let them pay that tiny tin man big money.
  5. White won’t play until Green Bay if I had to guess so this was 100% needed. Xavier is a good zone guy.
  6. If McKenzie does this, it’s like a 65 yard FG and that’s a miss. Why are people talking about Bass making a 60 yarder when he missed a short one badly and our backup OL would have probably given up a block on any low kick anyway. This game was lost when we got that holding penalty.
  7. You read my mind. It also will have Dr evil dial on the Bills bench for other annoying uses throughout the game with random special effects like electric impulses sent through their benches, and ball grabbing on Christian Wilkins, etc.
  8. Without that holding call just before this, it wouldn’t have even been a topic.
  9. But it was still winnable. We missed an easy FG. We bobbled a snap and then inexplicably threw a pass instead of grounding for another FG. Either of those gets kicked and we win. It’s a game of 2-4 key plays and the early fumble TD gave them some hope early.
  10. Its great when we complain that we lost a game when we still put up a differential of 500-200 yards with 7 actual starters out before the game been started and then had to have our team broil in 100 degree heat on top of it. These are the glory days my friends. KC and the Chargers today so basically and we get to throttle Miami here later, so no harm no foul today.
  11. This was the key thing that irritated me today, besides the awful red zone calls at the end. Playing prevent when we just needed to rush Tua into another bad throw. Silly strategy on a day where our defense was deserving and our offense put up 500 yards.
  12. Beasley 3 catches 12 yards and a hilarious chew out by Brady on a 3rd down slant where he was wide open but didn’t run through the lead pass and ended up stumbling for a 5 yard play instead of what should have been at 10-12 yard play. At least his new short hair looked nice. 😀
  13. Beasley active? Ok, 8 catches, 24 yards.
  14. I just hope we don’t go away from our core offensive principles and try to milk clock. Pass, Pass, Pass and score points!! Then run to seal the game !
  15. As an aside, look who’s on IR for the 15th time.. Sammy Watkins.
  16. The funny thing is people like TD Phins abhorred Tua until this last week… what a joke. Wait until his 3 picks.
  17. I think Johnson is gonna turn some heads. He isn’t “serviceable.” He just isn’t Micah. He is also a big hitter.
  18. Let’s face it, every year a top flight guy is going to miss a chunk of the year when you have 10 top flight guys. Last year it was Tre and now it’s Micah. Good luck to him in his recovery. The keys are still Josh and Diggs. As far as the impact on the Miami game. This will make them even more 1 dimensional because they won’t even try to run it now. Play pure pass and ignore play action.
  19. Shakir missed that block and totally whiffed earlier on a WR screen that McKenzie had to then purposefully drop so we didn’t lose yardage. He won’t dress much if he continues to show this incompetence on basic blocking plays since he is not a primary WR for us.
  20. 125 / 1550 / 16 I actually think if we go 5-2 or better to start the year we may run away with home field, and if so, we may be trying to spread the ball more and rest him more the final 2-4 games.
  21. So let’s see we run for 4 yards a play but we pass for 8 yards a play and our QB takes no hits. Hmmm, tough choice. Not. Clock moves slower, we get more possessions, we score more points and we demoralize the Fish even more. This isn’t the old Bills where we were trying to keep other teams from having possessions. We want more possessions, not less.
  22. Dear OpEd, There’s always the Sabres season just around the corner where a top 10 draft pick and the promise of a fun young team and a bright future awaits year after year. So there’s that.
  23. Both are more aggressive and both play with more speed. Let’s see what happens against Miami and KC who usually exploited Levy. For those still whining about picking a round 1 CB over a RB, look around. This is a passing league. Ask Tennessee or the Colts how having the best RBs but no WRs or CBs is treating them. This isn’t 1985 ditka ball.
  24. It reading your title, I disagree. We aren’t in the “middle”, we are at the start of the window. The run 2 years ago was premature maturity wise as we barely knew if we could get past NE. Last year was really the first year we knew we had a true shot. Now we have true expectations, that’s when you know your window is here. It should last 3-5 years at this level unless we lose major players. What happens if we lose Gabe, Poyer, Oliver, a few OL, and Tre never plays up to his capability again? That could limit a window.
