This story makes me feel like he will be a good player. This is the type of guy that ends up being an UDFA stud. Hard worker who wants to get better, but is also already talented. I’m rooting for him big time.

Could be so many things. However...
Mental health is an issue in this country. I see it everyday at work. Until we start looking at mental health differently and approaching mental health differently, we are all going to act confused as to why people (Manziel) do/does certain things. Mental health is a disease that people cannot often see, but it is as damaging as any disease we have.
Just my two cents

First off, a majority of the time Peter King writes an interesting column. I enjoy reading it.
Secondly, his reason for leaving is "i have to make room for the next set of writes here at SI, i'm a 225 something pound gorilla that doesn't leave room for other writers!" (paraphrased)
a) there are young writers at NBC too, believe it or not. It's not some grand altruistic move on his behalf for the rest of the staff if he is screwing another set of set of young writers over at NBC once he moves. So don't try to sell it at this selfless act. Whatever his exact reason reason is for moving, it is not this.
b) calling yourself a 225 pound gorilla is weird. it's also pretty egotistical. even if it is true with regards to his column
My exact thoughts when reading this.
Someone in the spotlight for as long as he has been for his work, you have to get an unrealistic view of self at some point.

The NFL surely wants this to go away. The Manning’s are their glory family. The NFL helped Peyton when everyone found out about his “mooning” incident at Tennessee.
The NFL plays favorites, don’t forget it.

To make the eastern conference finals, I wouldn’t call them very talented. Not compared to philly. Tatum is a future superstar imo, but not there yet and Horford is very reliable. Rozier is one of my favorite players, but he’s not a star, very solid. Brown is a great athlete that is still just average in skill set. Smart can’t play a lick of O. Baynes is an effective bruiser. Morris is a nice 6th man fit for this team as he can score, but he is trash on D. Larkin is trash 100%. Ojeleyes best days are ahead of him.
Kyrie and Hayward are the stars and they won’t be playing at all. Stevens IS the driving force behind this Celtic team. There is no doubt about that. He’s a tremendous coach and imo, will win titles in the future if they get rid of Kyrie and get some impact players in return. Kyrie is a star when he’s on the court won his title the year he was healthy.....but he’s rarely healthy. Knee injury after knee injury. It’s taking its toll. I’d get rid of him while they can get impact players for him. Players that will play during the playoffs instead of watching while being broken
Coaching only gets you so far. You still gotta score, like every other sport. Boston’s stars are our sure, but their talent runs deep to be where they are. Stevens is a great coach, but great coaches know they are only as good as their players. **See Bill Belichick 4/5 losing seasons in Cleveland.

Holmes has been mediocre to below average everywhere he’s been.
Also, the Boston Celtics are very talented. They will be playing in the Eastern Conference Finals. I doubt the Bills make the AFC Championship this year...

You must have been upset we traded Tyrod...

Field position would be flipped majorly. Teams would start in field goal position. Just leave it. It’s a contact sport.

I bet Edmonds will be toward the top for DROY as well

I still think you guys could have gone Barkley at 1 and then Mayfield at 4. Hindsight is 20/20

People act like Buffalo is Siberia...give me a damn break. You want cold? Go to the upper Midwest...go to Watertown,NY...places where is routinely gets 30, 40 below zero(without the wind chill)...places you have to plug in your engines so the block doesnt crack...places that are so cold your fingers literally hurt when you try and grab something.
Sorry...average highs of 31 and lows of 18 just are not that cold...do we have cold days? Maybe a week or week and a half? Yeah but we also get thaw outs too...
I'm from Adams, NY which is just a few miles from Watertown. I remember in science class we would boil water, take it outside and throw it up in the air, just to watch it turn into snow on the way down. Yes, it gets that cold here.
Night life and opportunities play a larger role than the weather imo.

Sacks were mostly the oline, but Tyrod also has some blame with his lack of anticipation (Which we all know is a weak part of his game). A few angles from the camera above showed WR's crossing and gaining separation. Hesitation caused sacks yesterday.

As a competitive golfer, I get this analogy. However, you need to remember that the 68-72 scores were because we holed out from the fairway a few times (the defensive turnovers). The defense has been keeping us relevant the first half of the season.

Gotta grind this out

This is also when it’s more challenging to read and diagnose coverages. Allen is going to surprise people
