  1. ABOUT DAMN TIME! There's no need for a subjective view & human error when they have the means to just get an accurate measurement. The added "TV drama" of it doesn't make for a better experience, it just makes people throw out conspiracies of refs being bought out or other dumb nonsense.
  2. No more automatic 1st downs unless the penalty yards would be enough to provide a 1st down.
  3. People should not get their hopes up about Claypool. He was lucky an NFL team even signed him. I was recently watching the 59 Minutes of Josh Allen Highlights video NFL's YouTube posted, and I was reminded of how much it helped Josh having speedy guys to run deep. He's not a guy that throws people open very often, but you did see him throw deep a ton if he saw the deep guy get a step or 2 on their man. Hoping Samuel can pick up the slack a bit on that end.
  4. Is it a coincidence he had 15 rushing TDs & 15 homeruns? I think not!
  5. Speak for yourself. Being a Canadian is worse than being ginger! Not only do they lack a soul, but they still worship the British Monarchy! EWWWW
  6. Wow, that's way more than I thought possible. Average NBA attendance is about 18,000. That's wild!
  7. That's amazing! 19k is NBA levels of turnout. Even 9k a game is higher attendance than a lot of college basketball crowds. I know it's a small market, but I definitely feel like Buffalo could sustain an MLB or NBA team (I know they used to have the Braves).
  8. I love that Buffalo supports Lacrosse! I played the sport all my life but live in Texas. Very few people here care, so it's cool to see Professional Lacrosse doing well up in Buffalo!
  9. As is the norm, fans like to think their team improved more than regressed each off season. Unfortunately, our competition doesn't stand stagnant & also makes changes. We lost our both our number 1 & number 2 WRs and people are acting like we got better. There isn't a WR we signed that has has been more productive than Gabe, let alone Diggs. At best, we're hoping Brady is enough of an improvement to make up for that loss of production, and that Josh can distribute those lost yards/receptions among a committee of less productive players. I keep seeing people penciling in clean sweeps of the division when making their W/L predictions. We lost to the Jets 2 of the last 3 years, just as we lost to the Pats 2 of the last 3 years (and Fins once). Doesn't matter how crappy they've been, assuming we'll go 6-0 against the division isn't realistic.
  10. What are the odds he finishes with less than 3 sacks? I'll put $100 down on that instead.
  11. So then why even discuss things on this board if you don't care what anyone thinks about the Bills? You talk like you're above normal team discourse... I wish I could be so cool!
  12. I'm not either, but he's an above average QB that had the Jags in 1st or 2nd place before getting injured.
  13. Teams we're competing with for playoff spots all improved more than we did this off-season, so the real X factor is Joe Brady imo. Will he be a significant upgrade & be able to compensate for other losses? I'm optimistic. But we can't bank on Burrow, Rodgers, Lawrence, etc getting injured again either.
  14. *Victor in the playoffs And if that's the case, they need to stop acting like the game means anything beforehand. It only matters for the Chiefs.
  15. I'm starting to hate these games... The week leading up to it, the talk is "Chiefs being disrespected" because the Bills are favored. The media heads will talk up how great Mahomes is, run on & on about how he's 3-0 against Allen in the playoffs, calling it a "must win" for both teams, blah blah blah. Then when the Bills win, the conversation immediately goes to "doesn't matter because it's not the playoffs." 😑 So what was all that hype last week about then? If the Bills lose, it's proof the Chief & Mahomes >>>> Bills & Allen. If the Bills win, it's meaningless because they didn't win in the playoffs (as if they can do that in week 10). Everyone immediately shrugs us off, and the Bills get no real credit.
  16. And MVS is our Isaiah McKenzie replacement... It's all coming together!
  17. It needs to be at least... 3 times bigger than this! What is this, a cap for signing ANTS?!
  18. I have zero confidence in MVS or Claypool to be anything other than minor contributors (if they make the final roster). They're more likely to be a Jamison Crowder type vet. Situational, 4th or 5th option, depth in case of injury, or even getting injured themselves.
  19. No, we definitely needed him to come up with more sacks. Beane literally talked about finding players that can get after the QB, and wanted help chasing down Mahomes. That's why they went back to back Edge with their 1st & 2nd picks. Then because Groot & Boogie weren't good enough, lead to them STILL searching for someone who can sack the QB, so they signed a 33 year old DE to a monster $100+ million contract. The things you mentioned are nice and all, but what they wanted & tried desperately to add was a player who could get sacks.

  21. Sweet! Maybe we'll finally have the refs are on our side!
  22. When you go off Vegas projected wins, Bills "only" have the 9th toughest schedule 😁 Unfortunately, the Chiefs have it easier, and the Dolphins & Jets have it even easier than that. I thought the limit was 5, or am I incorrect?
  23. I really wish we had a chance to trade for Mike Evans. Too bad Bucs resigned him. Other than that, I'd be thrilled with Metcalf, but we'd need the cap space for it.
  24. That would be nice, and I hope you're right (not about the Douglas/Benford injuries), but I don't have much faith in him at all. Barring a miracle, he's a lost cause in my eyes.
  25. Bet you Bass would've made the kick if we had a dome 😉
