  1. He played great, and he's got the weapons to really help him excel. The only thing I'd be cautious about is how well their new OC (Shane Waldron) will do after every opponent has tape on what he likes to do. He could be great, or he could be Dorsey. Caleb is definitely talented enough, but who knows how that offense will look deeper into the season.
  2. Well, we were the only team to truly get blown out, soooo.... Not that it matters. I do wonder if that means we're lacking depth, especially on defense, or if our new DC was just trying new things. There were a few other teams that lost by a double digits, but we're the only ones that lost by nearly 30 points 😅
  3. They might be "fine" as in "league average," but they're not going to be scaring anybody either. I like being optimistic, but no amount of positivity will magically WILL success into existence. I think they'll be serviceable, but looking around the league, there's a lot of teams with better WR corps than us, especially AFC rivals. We've got Shakir, Coleman, Samuel, Kincaid & Knox as our best receiving threats. That's not embarrassingly bad or anything, but it's not great either. These are how we stack up against other division contenders/playoff teams imo - Definitely or Probably Better than Bills: - Dolphins (Hill, Waddle, Beckham Jr, Jonnu Smith) - Bengals (Chase, Higgins, Gesicki) - Browns (Cooper, Jeudy, Njoku, Elijah Moore) - Texans (Collins, Diggs, Dell, Dalton Schultz) Maybe Better or On Par with Bills: - Chiefs (Rice, Brown, Worthy, Kelce) - Jaguars (Kirk, Davis, Brian Thomas Jr, Engram) - Colts (Pittman Jr, Downs, Adonai Mitchell, Granson) - Jets (Wilson, Mike Williams, Conklin) Worse or Probably Worse than Bills: - Ravens (Flowers, Bateman, Agholor, Mark Andrews) - Steelers (Pickens, Van Jefferson, Austin III, Freiermuth) Of course, a lot of this depends on if these guys can stay healthy or if the rookies live up to expectations, but I don't see our receiving threats as a strength. That being said, we have Josh Allen, so there's a good chance he can get more out of them than what they've done in the past.
  4. People always say this, yet we went most of Allen's career without a consistently good RB (let alone a great one)...
  5. I don't care if I'm in the minority, but all these "classic" uniforms that consist of plain white helmet + boring/basic logo don't look good to me. Not saying these modern, super busy, overly-designes unis/logos are better, but they're both just bad to me.
  6. If they spend $3.6 billion, they will definitely be hosting a Super Bowl at some point. Detroit, Minneapolis, New Jersey, etc all hosted SBs, and we all know the NFL can sell out anywhere regardless of price or location.
  7. I wouldn't mind. I know conventional wisdom is not to let them play except for a few series, but I'd really like to see them come out sharper in week 1 than the last few years. The win in LA a couple years ago was great, but it was still sloppy. Then you have the home upset loss to the Steelers & last year's embarrassing loss to the Rodgers-less Jets. We can't come out looking like that again.
  8. There is zero chance anyone in Mongolia is tuning in to watch NFL games... especially not for the BROWNS.
  9. So true! We don't know how drive in the snow ("we" as in other people of course)! Everyone tries driving normal speed & we get crashes everywhere 😅
  10. That's the most puny tornado I've ever seen. Back in my granpappy's day, he'd call that a "dust-devil!"
  11. Thanks... Give the Chiefs more motivation, that's just what we needed lol At least this will take some of the "overrated" talk away from Allen & finally direct it towards Lamar. People were in denial before, but this will get all the talking heads to finally look at things with a bit more scrutiny.
  12. I can't wait for Nick Wright to proclaim Caleb Williams a 1st ballot HOFer after tonight's game, even if he only watches from the sidelines.
  13. 1. Mahomes 2. Allen 3. Justin Jefferson 4. Burrow 5. Tyreek Hill 6. Myles Garrett 7. CMC 8. Lamar 9. TJ Watt 10. Nick Bosa
  14. Wasn't the only time we did this in the past couple decades with Troy Vincent? I think it's such a rarity because it's almost always a dumb idea. The only time you could justify it is if the person playing CB has significantly lost a step, you have nothing to offer at the FS position AND you have better available CBs than the one you're moving. We are not in that position.
  15. Crazy that Joe Flacco is that high up... Sad that Milano dropped so far, but that's what happens when you only play 5 games I guess.
  16. Yeah... this definitely looks like the Goodwill WR corps. Reminds me of how my team looks when I do fantasy draft in Madden. Force Josh Allen with my 1st pick, then go OL & DL until I'm left with bottom of the barrel WRs 😅
  17. I agree that your 2nd round pick should be starting, especially in year 2, but I disagree with the last bit... He hasn't been great at finding ELITE talent in the 1st round, but he's done well at getting good players (with only Elam being a bust so far).
  18. Or if Davis can hang on to a perfectly thrown pass that hits him right in the hands...
  19. I'd be more pissed if we lose to the Bengals in the playoffs again than any of the other predictions... Please just KO either KC or Cincy next time. That's all I ask!
  20. Any insight into how it can do all these things? I believe you, I've just never understood how psychedelics can curb addiction or provide self-improvement. I can see how it could help with self-inquiry or making one come up with new insights, but yeah... I think guys like Aaron Rodgers have kind of unfairly skewed my views on all that.
  21. I wanted to post about this, but any time I post an article or video regarding an even SLIGHTLY negative opinion on Josh or the Bills, it automatically gets moved to the "Random Talking Head Says Something About the Bills" thread to bury it 😆 Glad this one made it out alive!
  22. Probably a signed Eric Moulds rookie card or a signed Thurman Thomas jersey, can't decide. Also have a Marv Levy HOF commemoration football that's signed. Pretty sure these were all just given as gifts to me, but I love them all!
  23. When the "experts" talk about Josh in the playoffs, they immediately throw out that game (and often the following game as well). They say his numbers are "inflated" or say "aside from 2021, he's pretty average in the playoffs." I actually made a thread about this recently. Even today, I just saw a YouTube video discussing what each QB has left to prove in 2024. He says Allen is the 2nd best QB in the league right now, but also goes on to say "His playoff numbers for his career are really great, although I do believe they're inflated a bit by his amazing, historically dominant, 2-game run in 2021." Here's the Josh Allen segment in case anyone is interested (skip to 6:03 where talks about the playoffs ) -
  24. I'm curious, what is our opponents' 3rd down conversion rate against us... specifically on 3rd & long. Not sure if it's just in my head, but it feels like any time it's 3rd & 7 or even 3rd & 15, it almost feels like an automatic first down against us 😅
