Here's the psychological 'trap' they could fall into, if the game isn't going their way: Hey, we're 2 games over .500 we can afford a loss We're banged up, a loss is not hard to explain Our opponent is on the 1-3 ropes, at home, of course they'll play out of their minds to save their season The worst one would be: we've been a bit lucky winning games against good teams and against expectations, our luck is just running out and we maybe aren't that good It's not like they have a winning culture / pedigree to draw on (yet). Depends. Bets start happening on Late Sunday/Monday on every NFL game. The "early money" on say Bills v Bengals on Monday said Bengals by three, and so bookies announced that (early line). Then the PRs come out...Bills #3! Bills #15! Bengals #22! It's all to help the bookies make dough. It's a suckers game Ask yourself why they make these Power Rankings in the first place?

He's slightly higher in time to throw than avg (about .2 sec) but I'd say he makes that up in compl %...Carr is amazing in both but the yds per pass for him are unsurprisingly almost the lowest in NFL so...hard to say what the optimum is

It's not supposed to be a who's best / worst in the league type ranking (although maybe some are like that, there's so many)...it's who has momentum this week, vs their upcoming opponent, based on their recent play, and how they have done vs spread (Bills are 4-0 vs spread I believe) and it's mainly meant as foil for betting lines So with Bills being currently close to a toss-up line for the game in Cinci they actually shouldn't be that high logically but they do surprise vs expectations so some rankings will have them higher than others; if the bookies/bettors decide the high power rankers are probably right the line should move to a favour for Buf this week, if not the line won't change
