I agree, but if you were Duke...what would you be looking for? A weapon role? or an RB1 role? Hes always thought he has not had a fair shake. My guess is he wants a real opportunity to play the RB1 role.

Dont see him coming here unless the FO thinks he can be RB1 next year and after that. He might be too pricey for what he will ultimately do with this team this year.

Honestly...with how bad the run blocking was last year...I dont think any RB in todays NFL would have done any good. I havent missed a game since 2001. Last year was the most visibly poor run blocking line ive seen in 18 years. Do I think Shady will be Shady of 3 years ago? Nope...but its not worth upgrading him by overpaying a guy like Bell. Teams use RBs in groups. We can have a decent group. With an upgraded line...our QB wont be leading the team in rushing.

Tackle? DT? DE? I think we do need alot more bodies and talent on the defense life.

If the block allows your player to continue to gain yards....im all for it. If you hit someone and he is nowhere around the ball...im ok with the flag. Like the one where Josh Rosen is scrambling and a defender is coming around his back....are you serious? You have to block that dude.

Of course they will. If I was Mcdermott and I just saw Josh throw the ball 60 yards down the field and there is any hint of PI...you immediately challenge. Youre looking at a 60 yard play. There will be no consistency here...that will be another big issue. Youre going to see two of the same exact plays happen in two different games and each ref will call it differently.

You think thats not going to happen? You think the ref is going to say...it wasnt hard enough of a PI? Every single week we are going to have controversial plays now because of this. This rule will be gone next year.

This is a disgusting move. PI is a subjective call. Literally one deep throw gets challenged....and if a defender puts one finger on the WR its technically a PI. I havent seen a rule this bad since the force out rule.

Lets hope the line isnt only marginally better this year.....because not even zeus himself is getting 4.0 ypc.

Based on what they did this FA. Its seems pretty clear that a pass rusher is high on their board.

In that case we can drop their age in the equation. Ole Franky was very productive in Miami. He can still get ya 4 yards a carry and hes fantastic in blocking. Shady may have looked slower...but lets be real. Our line last year may have been one of the worst run blocking units in Bills History. Im willing to give him the benefit of the doubt. ANDDDDD......you think we arent going to bring in about 4 or 5 other guys in for camp?

I think the jew is going to end up as a Giant. Rosen and Saquan. Two rookie contracts. Will have capital for the near future. If they can find a way to protect the boy...Giants oline is equally as bad as AZ.....i think he may stick around in this league.

We overpaid for ok talent. So I dont think its put to bed when players are taking less money to go to better situations.

In terms of talent...im glad he was pursued. In terms of who this guy is as a man....im not glad he was close to being a Bill. Last thing this team needs is a diva, crybaby opening his big mouth when things arent going his way.

When I was watching some of the QBs on draft breakdown none of them stood out as special to be honest. None of them felt like they warranted very high draft picks. Trading up to 1-3 would have been my nightmare scenario. If they fell to us....sure Id take them all. I thought Mayfield was the most complete player. Moved around in the pocket well, made pretty good decisions with the ball and had some decent throws. No wow factor. Darnold....Good arm, some nice throws on the run. A lot of dumb ints. Nothing special to me. Josh Rosen...decent..but the guy was running for his life in most of the videos I watched. So i couldnt really see what I wanted to. Josh Allen...I saw about 1 minute of a video saw how inaccurate a couple of those throws were. I said nope and stopped. lmao. When I heard he could be going 1. I watched his stuff. Def has the wow factor in a both positive and negative way. So I told myself this is not a guy you trade up for. If he fell, I guess i can live with it. Come draft day and I saw what these guys actually looked like.....Didnt want scrawny Rosen. Darnold looks like a closet pedophile. Mayfield...whatever. Allen was the only one that looked like a man. After its all said and done. We didnt bet the farm on a QB so I can live with that. Allen has been pretty exciting. So im glad hes with us.

As improved as the bills were to finish the year.... I dont expect this team to do ANYTHING relating to playoff contention until we have a line that can BLOCK. Especially run block. A QB leading the team in rushing is a joke.
