They do not make it to October.
-
This is the house of cards of the NFL this year. I wager they are more likley to miss the playoffs and everyone is fired vs making the playoffs.
-
Why? Nothing he can say or do will raise his status. He didnt have to do any of it. He came spoke to teams, provided medicals and moved on. It is still a business he had nothing to gain from participating. In todays about me and social media generation, putting in the work and going about his business quietly imo is not a neg. Great point. Why train for drills you need to perform once. He is going to be a great player. Maybe more steak and potatoes than flash.

Diggs and 60. I wouldnt give up Diggs and a first. It will take more but that is too much. Best case he produces like Diggs. Diggs is a top 10 wr right now. Your buying age and price so understand the kicker for both with Diggs but I wont sell the farm for another wr. KC and before that NE proved that to be faulty roster construction.

He is all about size, speed and twitch. I think this take he will eventually want back. Nabers ok. Thomas jr. though is not the prospect Harrison Jr is. Thomas looks the part and is the most impressive athlete at the positions this year. Harrison is just so smooth and steady. He reminds me of Larry Fitz. Not the crazy speed or twitch but will have a 10 plus year career no doubt. As much as his name brought him hype it also brought him pressure. He surpassed it all. Job on the line, bullet to your head Harrison is the most sure thing at a position in awhile and that is why he goes wr 1.

Jeremiah has us taking a DT at 28 in his latest mock

Newton and Murphy would make you think real hard. With the Qbs, Wrs, Corners, and oline talent and highly reated d-lineman might be at 28. -
I understand MHJ not participating. Imo not having a Pro day hurts the program. Late rd guys or possible UDFA’s need as many chances as they can get to make an impression on somebody within an organization. Gotta have the other higher prospects working out to bring in more eyeballs.

Bottom of the rotation player. Helps fill out the room. Has a shot to be a depth player.
-
Its never that simple. Last time Buffalo traded up for a Wr it was a bad decision. Class is too deep imo.
-
Still can by staying at 28, 60 next year 1st or 3rd. They very well could draft a wr at any of those top picks that takes over for Diggs. That wr plus 2 or 3 other starters is more important than 1 player slightly better in college.
-
Draft 2 between 148 and 204 on day 3. Rapp and Blackmon get the first shot. Could be a solid duo.
-
I think that is too much for a wr. Too little depth to mortgage that much. That should be 3 starters or future starters for a wr.
-
Only position without a possible/probable starter too. No one would be comfortable with Hamlin or Lewis starting week 1.

Bills sign Taron Johnson to 3-year $31 million extension

What deems a player great? -
I appreciate his own takes and avoidance of group think. I find it funny he posts this and multiple “Gurus” tweet people in the NFL have Nabers over Harrison. Enough questions to remove him from first rd imo. 60 for sure. There will be a very good wr at 60.

Why move an All pro you paid as top of his position? Sign a guy and draft 1 or 2 on day 3 and safety is set.
-
Young guy coming off career year. Like it. Make it happen Beane.

Sure done in a way that adds cap space. Best player on the defense as it sits. -
Last 3 years averaged under 4 per carry. Hard pass. Give me a guy similar to Johnson. Part of committee productive but did not get many touches. I think you can find better athletes for the same money or investments.
-
Yuck. Very underwhelming. Poor efficiency. Rather draft a guy late vs Mattison.

Justin Simmons released (now visiting N'awlins)

After letting Po and Hyde walk I would be surprised if they went with another 30 year old vet for good money. -
The argument is by hitting on later round guys their cap number is less then the vet minimum and controlled for a few years. Yes you can fill holes with vet minimum FA but they are 1 year deals. They contribute or over perform they either walk in FA or get a significant bump in pay. Limiting the veteran presence on the bottom of the roster will make it more enticing for priority UDFAs. They can choose where to sign. Buffalo for the last few years has not seen much action in this category because the path to the roster was crowded by veterans.
-
Simple depending on how the draft falls might walk away with good value on day 3. If so sign a UDFA and or cheap vet. If a back is not drafted sign a vet after the draft. Pretty simple. Still not a overwhelming room should be in position to sign a pretty highly rated UDFA.
