  1. Right but it wasn't paid. Case in point. The action is easy. Take a seat hit the under. Hard part is getting paid and not getting caught.
  2. They cant bet on football or from team facilities. At home they could bet on baseball or whatever.
  3. But what is gained for a professional athlete to make a couple hundred bucks on a bet? Juice isn't worth it. For it to be worth while it will be caught pretty quickly. Even a few thousand would raise suspicion in this players case.
  4. I see a large number said no due to more likely to get fixing or shaving. I think it is the opposite. By it being easily accessible it is also much easier to track. Geo tracking and gambling habits make suspicious behavior much easier to catch. You will see more players getting caught for dumb things but a massive scandal would be near impossible to pull off now. Casinos get the bettors caught because they wont have to pay. The Raptors player is an easy example. A lot of money came in on a prop for a middling player. Seemed shady. It was and he was caught.
  5. Very good wr well worth it. They have a large decision to make with Tua. He is the 6-8 best qb in the AFC. Mahomes, Allen, Burrow, Jackson, Herbert, Stroud, Lawerence and Tua. Paying him like Mahomes, Allen, Jackosn or Burrow is something I wouldn't do. They will greatly regret that decision.
  6. I don't see why Samuel and Shakir both cant be on the field. Both about 6ft 190. Not small guys. Brown and Beasley both played together and both were smaller than either. Besides Coleman, I dont think you will see any WR with a set position. Based off matchup and player packages you will see them line up everywhere. As Coleman gets more comfortable you will see him line up everywhere too. Production wise I think you will see Shakir pace the room in catches and yards. If any wr breaks 1,000 yards I would bet it is him.
  7. He will do both. Diggs lined up in the slot. Difference was Beasley didn't have the frame or speed to play outside. Shakir does. I think the passing game ls more Samuel and Shakir. Similar to what NE ran. Hollins, Claypool, and MVS are here to take some load off of Coleman until he is ready to roll. The more Coleman can handle the more he will be given. This allows Coleman to be built up at his pace.
  8. Diggs light. Not the volume Diggs received but he will be deployed in a similar way. Very good in the short game. When defenses crowd up he is fast enough to get behind coverage. I think for non Buffalo Bills fans he will be the biggest surprise of offense.
  9. Yes and no. Kincaid and Cook are both top 5 in their positions or in Kincaid case projected. Samuel has been a solid pro without elite Qb play. Shakir and Coleman are expected to have big roles. That is the passing game for the most part. They are not paying any other wr. Say they go Franklin in rd 5? Maybe Shorter develops into a special teamer with X ability. Best case scenario Franklin becomes MVS and Shorter becomes Hollins. For not much they just have those players to play those roles. Got some dart throws with Hamler and Claypool. Both mid 20’s former 2nd rd picks with athletic ability and some production. With some volatility at the top of the depth chart with Coleman and Shakir having 2 veterans isn't a bad idea. They are being paid like 4th and 5th wrs. Not expected to start but could in a spot. Having them play the roles they have made a career of enhances the room. Got a field stretcher in MVS and a X who will be a captain on teams in Hollins. Somebody beats them out for that spot great but if not they will be fine in those roles. They are upgrades over Harty and Sherfield imo.
  10. Majority of the league are at OTAs. Von Miller is a future first ballot hall of famer. He is at most OTAs. Yes, it is voluntary. Yes, Diggs works his ass off in the offseason. Wr is also a depended and timing position. Catching sessions on air are not the same as routes vs defenses. Just seems odd. Diggs is an Odd dude. I think he very much likes the attention from cryptic tweets, the attention of being the only guy not there.
  11. I dont think anything big happens. Money used for rookies and operational budget for the season with mid season signings and ps call ups. If a move is made I think it’s after TC and probably mid season if the plan on offense has not worked.
  12. Coach is Jauron. Just sit there in a comatose state. The gotta be small and fast philosophy. You could just get big and fast guys with where they picked each year. Player who made me the most made even though I like them is Fitzpatrick. Would make the most inexcusable ints. He got the team to play above their level and the bottom falls out and man did it hurt.
  13. He had more yards per touch Achane. Was 4th in the league in rushing and 2nd in scrimmage yards. That is elite. His drops were disheartening when they happened but percent of the his targets caught were only behind Shakir. Cook will be the focal point of the offense. Whether he is running it our designed plays for him in space. He showed he can handle a starting workload. I expect to see him used more this year outside. Take advantage of match ups with him from the slot or outside. He is a unique player like Kamara and McCaffery.
  14. For as great Miamis weapons are you take away the fade skinny post and deep over what do they got? Sure they are a handful but pretty predictable if McDaniel wont commit to the run.
  15. I do not. Torque vs horsepower sort of speak. Those numbers help explain his ability off the line. Down field going up for passes. Im arguing his explosiveness will help in the majority of the routes in the short and intermediate. Something Davis lacked. Coleman will make his fair share of plays down field but in different ways. His ability at the line doesn't allow him to stack but should open up he the back shoulder. Allen mentioned that. That could develop into an out pitch for the offense.
  16. Colleges now cant hide behind the bag man. Collective bargaining is long overdue. Contracts between player and University will also limit mobility of players through portal. Largest deals will be multi year deals ect. Solves most of the current issues.
  17. He isnt in a contrived competition. Ints in May dont matter. I would guess he is experimenting with his arm. Seeing what throws he can and cant get away with. What windows look open but are not. What window looks closed but is open. Now if this is due to unable to read a defense or confused on play concept that to get be taught. As long as he avoids rubber mats and a medical tents he should be ok.
  18. Its collectively bargained. Not imposed by controlling party. There will a college football players playoff union. Those teams involved in the playoff will have seperate rules than other divisions of football and college athletics. This will also be the exit for any school not wanting to meet the minimums required in payroll and pay. Inevitable with the Billions of dollars being made off individuals playing the sport not being able to profit too.
  19. No I meant to say explosiveness. 10 yard split, vert and broad jump measure explosiveness. Thats why they do those drills. He is above average in all of those. He is good off the line. Thats explosiveness. High pointing a ball is explosiveness. His fluidity is what makes me think he can develop his route running. His current strengths are due to how explosive an athlete he is. His potential is how fluid he is.
  20. Cook is still better than all 3. Kincaid and Knox are TE 2 and 3.
  21. 95% of the passing attack is under 25 yards. Davis wasnt much faster and made his career down field. Coleman is a more explosive player than Davis and MVS. Being productive under 25 yards is what limits both Davis and MVS as players. Coleman offers more underneath and if he succeeds at it he is a potential #1.
  22. Buffalo has the best back 2nd best TE on the list. Sure, they dont have Hill, Waddle, Higgins or Chase but beyond them who are those teams weapons?
  23. Analytics vs film. Does Coleman have elite agility for a wr? No. Keep in mind those that are elite are 20-30 pds lighter and 4-5 inches shorter. The real question does Coleman have elite agility for a wr his size? Yes, he does. Proof of this is his run after the catch ability and tools shown as a punt returner. That ability would lend its self favorably to having potential as a route runner. Time will tell but potential as a number 1 wr he has it as much if not more than the group drafted before him and after. Pearsall, Worthy, Leggette, and Mckanky all have their own negatives and hurdles to become top targets for their teams.
