For me the teams i routed for as a kid i get the most gratification out of watching them win. So The Bills and penn st are those teams for me. They lose oh well

Not to sound bias I wouldnt put Buffalo in the class of NYJ and CLE. Both cut players soley for cap reasons. Buffalo hasnt gone that route. If so K Williams Incognito and Wood would all be gone. All the moves Buffalo has done have come with 2 factors scheme fit and injury history. Getting something for Watkins who they were not keeping long term makes sense. Matthews and a third seems like a win with gaines taking over the starting cornerspot. Good bad or ugly Buffalo has gone against the media consensus with Watkins a building block and Darby our best corner.

I think it is about 80% #1 Bradys age. I dont see Bill coaching after Brady. They seem to be going all in for the next year or 2. Get 3 titles in a row and off to the sunset goes both.

I think the AFC is very poor. Buffalo should beat the jets twice and Dolphins. The doom and gloom is a little overblown. They will have a chance to win 2/3 of their games im not saying they will but they also are not in the bottom of the league.

I do not trust them. I do not doubt them either. A differant approach from years and regimes pasts. I will hold judgement til the year plays out for McDermott. With Hyde and Whites return ability i dont see Jones making the team. Baynard looks like the better running back and both are good on special teams.

Peterman looked good. The oline played well. Over all good showimg before the year. Groy looked good at left guard. Ducasse gets cut.

For being here for a few days i think Wenning is tbe third qb. Yates has been terrible.

He has a bit of a slow weird release but I already like Wenning more than Yates.

I dont see how trading a guy off knee surgery who was third team is tanking. Come sat he wasnt making the team. Get the most for him and move on.

Your being dramatic. The games havent started yet. Gaines and Matthews are not as gifted athletes as there counterparts but one could argue they are just as good football players. Ragland was 3rd team. He could not beat out a special teams specialist a fifth rd rookie, a 6th rd rookie and a june free agent linebaker. McDermott is making the point, be doesnt care when or where you were drafted, how gifted you think you are. If you are not part of the team or fit your replaceable.

He didnt build his team around those guys. He built a foundation and than those personalities can fit in on team friendly deals or get cut. For every Gronk they have a Chad Johnson.

I tend to agree you. Every position on the team needs to be earned. Its not only a business but also a competition. The Best guy plays. Some walk in the building the best some take a year or longer. Giving a young qb the job because he cant be anyworse than the starter is never good. Bortles Henne, any Cleveland qb the last 10 years.

The second half preseason young qb across the league is very similar. The qb is the best player on the feild. One of the few guys who is making the team. Preseason game 3 tells you the only thing you need to know in preseason. If Taylor plays poor Saturday night I would give peterman the 2nd half and 1 or 2 series with the ones. You can send a message but also avoid a full qb controversey.
