4 to 6 Qbs could be in contention to be picked in the first round this year. Darnold and Rosen are the top 2. Then its personal preference. Lamar Jackson looks like Mike Vick 2.0. 6-2 220 and will probabaly break the record for fastest combine speed for a Qb and wont be surprised if he grades out as one of the most athletic player in the draft. With the success of Watson I think Lamar Jackson is def top 10 maybe top 5. Next is Allen from Wyoming. unique guy to scout because of decline in production year over year. People that like him will point to 5 of his skill players from last years team floating around NFL rosters, and this years skill players are not that good. His frame, Arm strength and mobility will blow away anyone in a workout. There will be dicussions on who has more potential Jackson or Allen. I think Allen goes top 15 around the same place Mahomes was drafted. I expect Mayfield to dominate the TV and media over the next month. He will win the Heisman and is also making Oklahoma the odds on favorite to win the title. If he goes through both SEC defenses and beat Georgia an Alabama in stunning fashion he will shoot up the draft board. I think in interviews he will do very well and come across as fiery not cocky or immature. He will be talked about as the most accurate passer in the draft but in shorts during workouts will not impress like the others. Later part of Rd 1 i think a team who missed out on their guy take Mayfield. The propect that is the hardest to gauge imo is Randolph some sites have him as the top QB others dont have him in the top top 5. He has the size and the look of a franchise Qb does he have the arm and accuracy? If he impresses I could see him going after Allen and before Mayfield. Or he may slip to the end of rd 1 or day 3. But to say this class has diminished like years past is not true at the least.

Yes McCoy is actually making chunk plays. Taylor needs to move the chains. Its the opposite for most teams but that is this offense. Mccoy makes the big plays the passing game needs todink and dunk and pick up first downs.

No converson % on 3rd and long. 8 and more he is currently 19th at 27%. Completion% is not as important as converstion% for 3rd down. If he is 100% completions on first downs and he doesnt pick up a forst down it is bad.

Imo he is the best player on the Defense.

Very simple solution is an indoor stadium. Last couple games in bad weather and below freezing for a team on a slow nose dive does not promote excitment.

They have a solid defense top 15. A decent line even without Joe Thomas. They have 0 talent at Wr. josh gordon out 3 years is still better than anyone they have. 100 mil in cap space 10 picks. They find a Qb or 2 bring in some pass catchers they should be in line to actually win some ball games. Kizer has been ok at times but completly dreadful at others. His accuracy concerns are real and his decision making in the redzone has been horrible. On paper the offense needs all new wrs, their RBs are ok and that young Te looks to be the real deal. Their o line is better than ours and the defense is deep with talent at all levels. The right Qb and that franchise could see a La rams like round about.

Sashi Brown did a great job of acquiring assets. With the success of Wentz and Watson he did a poor job of evaluating talent at Qb. They are primed for a big time Qb. i would even consider going after Cousins and drafting a Qb like Allen to groom behind him. They have the cap space to change the whole offense which is needed and can offer Cousins all the money in the world and fix the offense. They have a solid defense but no talent on the outside. Gordon hasn't played football in 3 years and walks onto the field as their best Wr which is shameful.

From the outside looking in Whaley was very good at identifying NFL talent. Imo he was not a good communicator or leader. imo he was manipulated too much by Brandon to go with the flashy move over the right move more often than not. The trade up for Watkins looks terrible with the success of Mack and the other Wrs drafted later in the draft. His major down fall was not finding a Qb. The other stuff gets overlooked if there is a qb to hide the the warts.

Still Buffalo is 13th in the league in 3rd down conversion %. So he is the 5th rated in Completion %. Go back and watch the NO games. Taylor is 4/5 on thrid down with the one in completion was an INT. However, none of those completions went for a first down. On third and long 8 yards or longer Taylor is 19th 27% 13/48 conversation rate. That is the bigger issue Brady is at 44% Dalton is second at 42% and Wentz is third at 39%. Thrid and under 5 yards he is top 10. Take away his threat of running to pick it up or the team calling a run his production of converting is way down.

Right. That is why it was my understanding that Marrone was looking for more power and control of the football operations not simply more money. Something Brandon and Whaley didnt want. This is not the year. You trade down in the draft if you have a qb and need to build around them and you trade up to get one. Buffalo does not have one. If they get cousins or garapalo than sure trade down but lookimg at Buffalo today they need to uses there aquired assets in this draft to bring a Qb that can win games if they defense gives up more than 20 points.

They fired there coach last year and they are winning the division. By plurging the front office this past offseason imo Marrone was right and Pegula was too new to the franchise to see where there issues were.

Not really. Zay is developing to a consistant option. Benjamin is a beast in the redzone and down the feild. They bring in a deep threat and they are set. Intersted to see if Reiley can be the slot guy he looked like he was.

They didnt have 2 first round picks that year. Boths 1 and next years first gives them almost any position in the draft. They need to get a Qb. Draft seems to have better prospects then most. History is against doing it. It nevet works out better for the player. The player always regresses or gets hurt. USC is not going to prepare him for the NFL more than being in the NFL. USC is going to use him to win college football games like they should. Use some gumption resfuse to sign with cleveland if they scare you away and force a trade.
