Need to go back to the beginning. Clear and obvious. Using 4k still framing a .5 second portion of a play is wild. In real time real speed catch, no catch becomes much clearer.

These are nowhere close to similar plays.

Dont believe he got both feet down and didn't make a football move. The Clip starts a bit late. The beginning he has a foot down 1. Body facing LOS. Second foot down. Body face back of endzone. 2nd foot. Body now facing opposite direction football move. After the second foot and Coleman facing the backline 29 forced the ball loose. Im disputing getting 2 feet down and getting his body upfield qualifies for a football move. Coleman is facing the back of the endzone when the ball becomes loose. In my eyes thats 2 feet down and a football move. He is in the end zone so the moment it happens play is over.

the Daboll/Schoen regime - on the brink, it seems
Mat68 replied to dave mcbride's topic in The Stadium Wall
They made a terrible mistake. Thought Jones was Allen when he was closer to Tyrod. Saying it is an insult to Tyrod. Extend Barkley. Tag Jones. And trade him if you can. This year give Barkley a market deal and push the deal across the goal line. Trade or cut Jones and draft Penix. Nabbers is great. However, he has little impact in winning the games. Unable to read the room when the owner wants Barkley is embarrassing. Daboll and Schoen risked possibly their 1 shot on Jones. Who at no point was a franchise caliber player at any level of football. They made their bed and now are going to be fired. Daboll we be an OC somewhere. Schoen may come back as an assistant to Beane. Beane and Mcdermott knew they were going to go down with their guy at Qb. That got them Allen. A poor season in 18 but never looked back. Thinking 2017 was the core of the franchise would have been a massive mistake. The roster turn over from 2016 to 2019 was one of the more significant changes in the league. Daboll and Schoen lucked into a playoff spot and thought they were (close). They were miles away. -
Keon Coleman 5th In Rookie Receiving Yards
Mat68 replied to iwishitwerecolder's topic in The Stadium Wall
Im glad they put Coleman on the field in the heavy sets. 2 or 3 tes and Coleman. MVS was used prior weeks. MVS was strictly a deep threat. Play off move on. Coleman offers way more underneath. Coleman needs to continue to be featured in the offense. -
1 foot down when ball arrives. Second foot, does 180 ball crosses goal line. Thats 2 feet and football move across the goal. What happens after does not matter.

3 feet are not required. Two feet and a turn should have qualified. Kincaid’s 3rd foot down made it where he didn't have to maintain control through the ground.

Xavier Worthy: So far, not much more than a gadget guy
Mat68 replied to Logic's topic in The Stadium Wall
Coleman is averaging more tds per catch and has more TDs than Pickens. Compared to other wrs Colemans targets are lower. I think yesterdays usage is what he will see moving forward. Wont have 50 yard slants every week but he will see 7 or so targets a game. I really like him as the solo wr in heavy sets. That slant will open up the fade and back-shoulder. -
If Myles Garrett is available.. How much are you willing to offer?
Mat68 replied to SCBills's topic in The Stadium Wall
1 and a 2 with Toohill. Would go to 2025 1st and 2026 first. Garrett is top 2 defender in the NFL. -
The moment the second foot is down and the ball crosses the endzone it is a touchdown. Coleman wasn’t going to the ground. The “complete the catch” is not needed. The defender knocked it loose after those things took place. On the 50 its not a catch in the endzone it’s a touchdown. No second act is need because he scored.

He is a different type of deep threat. 1 on 1 you like his odds of fighting through contact for the ball and will lend itself to Pi calls. Can under-throw it slightly vs needing to hit him in-stride. His underneath ability and yac is what makes him more than a one trick possession wr. I see him as being able to offer the Davis stuff down the field with more ability under 10 yards. -

KC vs. Buffalo's record a microcosm of the Allen/Mahomes debate
Mat68 replied to Success's topic in The Stadium Wall
Buffalo is in as good a position as ever to best KC in the playoffs. Close your eyes and pick the rosters. Im not sure you wouldn't pick Buffalos first. -
Week 8 - Bills at Seahawks Game Week Thread
Mat68 replied to BillsFan619's topic in The Stadium Wall
Game Buffalo should win. Geno pushes the ball into tight windows. The secondary and safeties will be tested. Walker is a beast and Buffalo needs to get the proper run fits. Smoot and Rousseau should start. Run the ball, good defense. Get out of town with a w. Early feel 27-17 Buffalo. -
As rookies Coleman, Carter and Davis are making large impacts. Carter with 4th down stop was massive. Davis looking like a possible rb 1B. Coleman had his first 100 yard game and so far been the Bills most consistent big play wr. So far the draft looks very good. They were expected to be early contributors and they have been.
-
As the games closer and weather colder that will be very impactful. Also, a couple holes that Davis had a healthy Cook gets 40 instead of 20. Cook and Davis both can catch block and run. I will say it again. I want 21 or 22 with Cook in the slot or out wide with Davis in the backfield. Use Cook in motion or let him smoke a baker or safety outside. Over adjust run Davis. Find ways to get Cook in space.
-
He is not fast. But he is not slow either. The slant wouldn't have gone as far if he was as slow as many joke. Coleman is one of the best Bills receivers with the ball in his hands in recent memory. Him as the single wr in 22 or 13 will be very impact full. Big improvement over MVS in the package.

The talent around Schrager and Brandt have moved on. Kay Adams was a better host. Nate Burleson is one of the best speakers and analysts on Tv. Basically, now living off Ny bias and Brandt going viral. Rest of cast are paint by numbers sport personalities.

They won 27-0 in the second half. The defense gave up 10 points and the offense scored 34. I get the concern. Overall, the passing game looked the best its looked.

Defense: 1st Half vs 2nd Half - What is going on?
Mat68 replied to Mikie2times's topic in The Stadium Wall
Imo Brady needs to do a better job scripting a first down and later on calling a play to get the first down. Felt the routes and plays were too far down the field. On 3rd down to start a drive get the first down. Do that every thing will click. Too many 3rd and medium and they were calling up deep passes. -
Defense: 1st Half vs 2nd Half - What is going on?
Mat68 replied to Mikie2times's topic in The Stadium Wall
The Titans offense was propped up by the Bills offense inability to stay on the field. Once the offense got going the momentum flipped. Overall, Mcdermott does a good job of figuring out an offense and scheming and covering it up. Only team they struggled with all game was Baltimore but that had as much to do with missing guys and game script as it did with scheme. -
Loved Davis in the draft. Perfect compliment to Cook. Cook has bigger play ability. Davis is better north and south. Depending on the defense one style might work better than the other. I would like to Allen under center more. The run game was better and the play action is more effective.

What exactly is the real story with Mike Edwards?
Mat68 replied to Jukester's topic in The Stadium Wall
Hamlin has not made a lot of plays. He is where they want him to be all the time though. Thats why he is on the field. Edwards missing the spring and camp doesn't have the communication or cohesion with the unit. Bishop made a mistake vs Houston that gave up a TD. They don't want that again. -
His ability underneath is something not utilized enough. He housed a curl. Outside of Diggs who is the last Bill to do that? He is not on the same page with Allen yet. If he can gain some trust I fully believe he will be a good receiver. Anyone remember Shakir’s rookie season? Similar thing. Made some plays but was clearly making mistakes running routes. I think the addition of Cooper helps the match up and Coverage Coleman will receive. Hopefully, he can pick up some of his route nuance too.

Dude is 21. Not known for his route running. Takes time to develop. I think he is a better athlete and better with the ball in his hand than his draft profile would lead you to believe. I think he needs the ball more and needs to be on the field more.
