I dont think Allen will be a high completion % qb. Now I do see room for improvement. I am very impressed with his ball placement on balls in side 25 yards. Seem to be able to place it. Something Ej and Taylor didn't do. Something Fitz was spotty with. Imo it's a chemistry thing. His wrs are young and new, Allen had limited reps in preseason and was out for 4 weeks. An off season of guys catching passes from Allen will sure up somethings. Having guys who can go get the ball in the air will help too.

So many? One miscommunication with Jones in the endzone and one deep ball to foster? Including the pick he made 3 poor throws out of 30. You consistently see guys making plays in the elite offense. The last two plays sums up the season for Buffalo and the offense. Allen makes a perfect throw to Jones. Text book back shoulder fade. What looks like a big play on 3rd down with 50 sec left was actually dropped. The final play was chaotic, wreck less. Your saying no, no, no than crossed his body about 50 yards in the air to a wide open clay. Yes, yes, yes and bounces off Clay's chest game over. Neither play was easy but those are what is holding the team back. When guys start making those plays Buffalo will win alot of games.

Jones or Clay make either play this is a different conversation. Allen damn near went 90 yards with 0 times outs and 230 left on the road needing a TD.

It's hard to tell. Looks like a guy to me who has 6 starts and not enough offseason reps to have good enough chemistry with his skill players. Wide open Allen thought he was going to sit down Zay kept running.

The top QBs routinely get help from their teammates. I come away from this game thinking how good will Allen be if he has guys that routinely make plays? If the ball is not put on the numbers his guys dont catch it, when he does it's still dicey.

No. You could argue he isnt even the most talent LB for Dallas or the most explosive. Jaylon Smith is a huge boost for him. Edumonds at 20 is calling the plays and making the checks. Give Edumonds an NFL off season and look out. He could add 10 pds of muscle. He also has the ability to come off the edge on long passing downs.

Allen shows he is a dude and 90 mil in cap space does the job. The new Fieldhouse helps but would not be a factor for a world class athlete.

With the team needs, finishing in the bottom of the league will not help this offense. The Bills need an infusion of offensive talent. The top half of the draft is pretty much all defense. Picking from 10 to 15 would be ideal for the pick of o lineman or skill position player. The bigger improvement this year by Allen just makes 2019 more promising.

Those deals where only 10 mil guaranteed. Like Gurley. It's not really the overall number as it is the guaranteed money money a year for a Rb now.

There are not many top talents in the FA pool. Instead of overpaying for potential inwould over pay for a guy who is elite. I would give him a big 3 year deal. 3 years 40 mil. Trade McCoy for cap savings and pick up a player or mid rd pick in return.

He seemed to lose his suddenness. Seems from point A to B hes as quick as ever. That hop step and start stop has faded. Gotta find some one give all that money to, I trade McCoy for a mid rd pick and back brinks up to Bell for 3 years. Bell looks like the best skill player available.

You need to be very nitpicky to want a much better performance vs that defense. The most athletic defense in the NFL he beat with athleticism. He made some great plays and willed the offense to victory. Hopefully, he can build off this next week.

I just dont understand the comparisons and expectations. You could say Geoff, Trubisky, even Big ben... You are using busts when many successful QBs have had similar stat lines early in their careers.

Never said HOF or any level of accolades for that matter. I just do not understand why more people are not impressed by Allen out athleting Jacksonvilles defense. He doesn't have a go to guy on 3rd down. He doesnt have a running game to fall back on. If this was a terrible defense than I understand. I do not recall an easy matchup yet for Allen.

This is a complete asinine comparison. Mahomes supporting cast and playcalling is in another dimension compared to Allen's with the Bill's. It is apples and oranges. So Mahomes puts up the numbers he is putting up now in Chicago last year? That's a comparison. Mahomes was drafted into one of the best situations in modern history for a Qb. Excepting a rookie with sub par talent around him to be an MVP is incredibly stupid. Just look at Geoff and Trubisky in consecutive years. Both as rookie noobs labeled bust. Given better supporting casted both improved.

Because he didn't throw it underneath right away does not indicate he is a one read qb. You dont know the passing concept and his coaching dictated by pressure or defensive alignment. Give me a break. Allen has faced by far the toughest defenses than any of the other rookies in his class. Also has the worst offensive supporting cast. He looks like a guy to build around. They won because of Josh Allen today not inspite.

Oakland and Cincinnati are two of the worst defenses in the NFL. Jacksonville is one of the best in the league and easily the most talented. The analogy is completely off base. Allen's 3 wins have come against playoff teams. He has had a very difficult schedule and has come out of it remarkably well. His best wr is an undrafted FA rookie and a second year Te who was a converted wr. There is more to playing Qb than throwing 5 TDs and 300 yards.

The game will not relay his stats. He was not run first yet ran for 100 yards. One series in the 4th quarter he threw an inaccurate ball that resulted in a 3 and out. Against the most athletic defense in the NFL he made enough plays to win the game. You come away from this game thinking Allen is holding the team back your watching a differant game.

If Buffalo wins. MVP Lawson for getting Fournett ejected. Allen is first Qb since Kelly that has IT. The whole team is behind him.

His best 2 passes came back due to penalties. If you watch the game he is placing the ball well. Jacksonville is very good on defense and Allen has handled them so far.

I agree. If Foster can make even 1 play this week color me impressed. Allen and the wrs will have to be on point. Ramsey and Bouye are 2 of the best. Toughest defense Buffalo played all year.

Going into 2019 you would rather be Buffalo. Jacksonville's defense is more talented then Buffalo's, but Buffalo is getting similar production out of their defense for 40 cents to the dollar compared to Jacksonville. Buffalos cap is significant. Who does Buffalo bring in? But seems to me Jacksonville may crash and burn.
