I think they should go FA Oline and draft skill players. There are no real weapons available in FA. I dont see them looking to Bell or trading for Brown. Go where the players are. Buffalo has to spend money. Defensive front 7 and Oline seems to be the most prevalent this year. Sign 2 or 3 O lineman and a d lineman. I would go skill player 1,2,3. Buffalo needs speed and dynamic athletes on offense.

Metcalf shows separation and elite speed. Harry lacks seperation when watching. Metcalf plays to Allen's strengths. With Jones or McKenzie underneath it fits what they want to do. Before his injury Metcalf had as much yards and more TDs than Brown on almost half the targets. If Buffalo had a different player at Qb I understand the skepticism of a percieved 2 route wr. If Buffalo wants a vertical passing attack that they used the second half of the year Metcalf adds that legit deep threat. A guy Allen could have trouble over throwing and a one on one nightmare down feild. The only other player who showed similar abilities in this draft is Hollywood brown and he is 5-9 165.

You playing 10 yards off of him or keeping a safety over top? His speed matches his film. He has another gear most dont. Having an elite deep threat paired with Allen makes too much sense.

Metcalf showed the speed of wrs 5-9 180. He is 6-3 225. He had the best seperation in college when healthy.

If they sign James or a TE draft a TE in rd 2. Fant or Irv Smith have more upside and are more explosive. Modern flex Te.

Dont forget the Dumpster fire that was the Bill's offense in all but 1 game Allen didn't start. Improve his weapons and I thinks his stats improve. Last month of the season Allen was a top 5 Fantasy Qb for what it's worth as well. With an undrafted rookie Wr and mid season street FA as his main weapons.

I find it increasingly difficult to trade down in a draft short on QBs. Is someone mortgaging picks for Murray or Haskin? No. This is Ej vs Geno. Imo, 1 or both fall to the end of the first or second. Hockinson is in the mix if they stay put as I expect them to. Imo you are getting Oline, Wr, Te. The 4th or 5th Dlineman is not significantly better than the top Olineman or Wr. With those positions needing the most improvement think it's a simple decision.

Correct. Having a guy on the feild at all times who can run past their defender opens those passes up. Need more than just foster. I'm not saying add a deep threat only. But, that is a large part of Allen's game. Enhance it. In Fa add a slot wr, or possession Wr. Draft a guy with #1 potential. Adding a deep threat doesnt stop me from doing the rest.

Tannehill with Miami is an example of why you dont extend a QB unless he is a franchise QB. The money above replacement QBs warrants handcuffs teams. I expect more teams willing to move on from QBs before giving up second contracts.

Yes. Get Allen a deep threat. That's what he is good at. More speed more weapons the better.

You also need to have money. Brown like McCoy will be fine if you give him some cash. Brown is signed for 3 years with 0 money besides game checks. That takes alot of teams off the table.

Buffalo needs a guy who can catch fades and back shoulder fades. That's, Crabtree. He would be a solid pick up. Allen would prolong his career.

I think Edmunds will become a monster. He played against the strongest athletes in the world at 20. If Allen and Edmunds were finished products Buffalo wouldn't land either. By years end they both looked like players. Let Edmunds become a man and see how good he becomes.

Unless he is a silent partner in the place I think this is a real non story.

After the injury he was the best Qb in the class. He was the best player on the field when he was playing in a vast majority of games down the stretch. What he did vs Jacksonville is crazy.

As a player maybe the best in the league. As a runner and reciever. What kind of shape is he in? He could become the Vin Baker of the NFL.

I think he is an improvement on what we had and have at TE. Smart move. These really should be the type of moves made on offense. Outside of a trade or going after Bell, Buffalo needs to find solid contributors for offense on their 2nd contracts.

Jesse James a decent all around TE. Big frame and catch radius. I think he is 26 or 27. Has potential, and not overly impressive.

They didn't make the playoffs for 20 years prior. The roster needed to be overhauled. Will the roster be made into a contender or pretender is on their shoulders going forward.

Correct, but Mike and Qb have been a need for awhile. Nickel backs are a little easier to come by.

Yes, I would agree. Imo they hit on Allen and Edmunds. This offseason is what makes Beane. He has 80 mil in the bank and a top 10 pick without needing a Qb. Let's see what hes got.

Agree, but if you have so little faith in the starter that you replace him at halftime of game 1 why do it. I thought is was a Bill Obrien oldschool decision. When you walk to the field watch Allen practice and Petterman practice nothing said Petterman played football better.

Yes, they just signed OBJ. He is in his prime, he gets traded this time last year if ever. The real question is Ab. As a late rd pick he might fit McDermotts mold more than you think. Swap 1s for brown. Instead of trading down for a day 2 pick trade down for the best wr in football.

I agree with alot of it. I'm not sold on Hockinson that high. It's an argument if he is the best TE from Iowa. With the way the draft is setting up I agree about the trade down but I would go Wr. Marquis Brown or Dk Metcalf. They are the best deep threats in the draft and I want to give Allen an elite deep threat. Everything else I agree just flip Wr for Te. I really wish they just named Allen the starter after the Cleveland game. That was 3 weeks of practice lost and he played 30 mins into the season anyways.
