  1. Ehhh. I think Buffalo was smart to wait the injury out. Healthy Ansah is an upgrade. Injured he is not. Ansah is a power rusher. He wont be cleared til August? Still wont rule out a last offseason additionor trade.
  2. He was more athletic than I expected. He most likely beats out Fisher as the blocking te. He might not be the Blocker but adds way more potential as a Wr.
  3. That's the question. If he cant catch he is strictly a replacement for McCoy/Gore. If he can, Buffalo may have found a steal.
  4. Allen having all the meaningful reps over the spring and summer should result in better timing for the passing offense. Having better Wrs in the offense Jones should see more opportunities. What he does with them are on him. I expect Jones to be the most productive Wr next season. I think he will end up leading the team in catches and Tds.
  5. Benjamin and Holmes prove height is meaningless. Skill and talent are the most important parts.
  6. Playing behind 2 big, strong arm QBs should help Jacksons progress. Allen and Derek Anderson should give him a template on how to play. If not he could take a swing at TE. 6-7 250 and athletic isnt a bad guy to keep on the team. My guess they try to stash him on P.S. In all seriousness Dorsey was a Qb coach for Newton. Allen is a similar player. For Jackson to grow at the position he is probably at the best place.
  7. Antonio Brown and OBJ are pretty good at it. They are 5"11. The fade and back shoulder fade are on the Qb as much as a Wr.
  8. With Rbs we will see it preseason game 1. Is he quick enough, big enough, good enough. With that position they either got it or they dont. I think behind McCoy and Gore he has a rare chance to learn the position from 2 guys who could be Hall of Famers and 2 guys who were able to take care of their bodies in a manner that allowed them to play RB into their 30s. Beane thinks he will be a playmaker time will tell.
  9. For a running back that's not super small. I'm curious to see how Singletary performs with a professional recovery regimen, and less usage. To me his burst is up there with any Rb drafted, and he isnt small for his frame. Utilize him like the team used McKenzie last year out of the slot and backfield and you might have found a playmaker. Rb was a massive question maker but now has some added talent with what could be specific roles to increase productivity.
  10. I could see 1 or the other playing primary back up to Beasley. I think McKenzie did everything they thought Mccloud would do. Having a vetran slot guy might help one of them become better in that area. In terms of size? New England won all their super bowls with smallish wrs as the best wr. Troy Brown, Deon Branch, Juliann Edelman. Overall, I think Zay is getting the most heat but can do the most of any of the wrs. The group is significantly upgraded than this time last year. The opening day last year Benjamin, Holmes, and Kerly may have been the slowest group of Wrs in a decade. Foster, Jones, Beasley and Brown is a pretty solid group. Jones and Beasley in the short to intermediate with Brown and Foster intermediate to deep. Alot of Allen's runs were the result of 0 man with no reliable wr to get quick seperation or make a contested Catch. Beasley was brought in for this precise reason. Get Allen a guy who can get seperation under 7 yards. The whip route with Allen's velocity will be unstoppable if they get in sync. The contested catch guy could be where D Williams comes in but I have doubts, I think they hope one of the TEs can be that guy.
  11. It's the vision and burst that created the production. Now in terms of testing. His physical ability is no different than Jacobs.
  12. Florio is actually high on the Bill's and Allen. It's very simple, the media heads who pushed back against Allen are low in the Bill's. Those that like Alen think Buffalo is on the rise.
  13. In a Spiller type of carry count he could be very dynamic. I dont think he will be a 25 to 30 carry guy in the NFL. In today's game that isnt needed. 15 to 20 touches in a Tarik Cohen or Alvin Kamara type role makes his selection make alot more sense.
  14. It's a little bit of both. Sure every guy drafted for the most part gives the same cliche responses. Oliver's reaction was more than just cliche responses. Ford's reaction was more aswell. Liked the fit the coaching and seems genuinely excited. Having guys wanting to play for the team vs guys who are happy they are in the league is a step in the right direction.
  15. I dont see it that way at all. Zay started his first year in the NFL. Williams didn't make the team. Last year Zay was the most consistent Wr on the team from week 1 to 17 with 4 different QBs throwing him the ball. Jones is battling for a starting position, and Williams is battling for the 53rd spot on the team. I dont see 1 thing as a football player, Williams is superior to Jones at. I think Zay suprises many this year and puts up good numbers. I would be more surprised by Williams making the team then Jones becoming a number 1 wr.
  16. Cowherd plays towards the Bigger markets. His guy Rosen is now in Miami. So he has to make an argument why Miami is better. They might have an argument that Miami has better Wrs but that's it.
  17. When things get tough, will he be a different guy? His own admission if he can stay out of trouble. It's easy to blame getting into trouble over not being good enough. This is an interesting story heading into the summer. Can he out physical Dbs in the NFL. Can he seperate vs NFL dbs. Those are the questions that landed him into the CFL.
  18. Mcshay is one of those guys that says his mock is a representative of how the teams pick not his own belief in a player. He talk out of both sides of his mouth with Allen. He could good, if drafted to the right situation. The talent is their, but needs improvements.
  19. Seems like a tough thing to prove. As for the sex trafficking element the 2 women where in their 40's and 50's respectively. For me this is a non issue. Kraft was at the wrong place at the wrong time. I'd be shocked if the case makes it to trial.
  20. At 9 I dont think it was debatable who the best player remaining was. They would be leaving alot to chance to assume Harrison and Jordan Phillps could replace K Willaims production from disruptiveness from the 3 technique position. Oliver should be able to step in and make an impact day 1. His speed to power is rare from the position. By all accounts he is a slam dunk at 9.
  21. The majority of ESPN caters to New York, Boston, LA, and San Fran/ OAk. Look at the stats, Allen must have sucked. Watch the games, more often then not he was the only positive thing on offense. Mel can hang is his career on calling his shot with Allen. He beat Mcshay and all the others too Allen. He has a vested interest, but by actually caring hes watched more tape of him than anyone on ESPN.
  22. Lawson is not a 13 mil a year player. If he has a great year, good for him and you franchise him if you dont get a new deal done.
  23. What would you have liked to see that didn't show? I saw good acceleration, vision, elusiveness. I was surprised with his willingness to slam it in a hole to take what's there vs bouncing everything outside.
  24. He adds a few more LBs he is a starter in a year or 2 when Alexander retires.
