  1. Imo hes earned a look in games vs better defenders. Put him in with Barkley. Give him 3 to 4 plays. He continues to make plays he might earn a package for the regular season.
  2. If it's so easy, why dont the other backs on the roster and around the league make similar plays? There is something to him. He isnt a major project in my eyes, he is a guy you put in space and let him run to open grass. I'm not asking him to pick up a blitz on third down, I'm throwing him a designed swing pass with a lead blocker, jet sweeps, or screens.
  3. Imo, based off his limited use they wanted to sneak him on P.S. After those 2 plays on what 3 or 4 touches that is going to be highly unlikely. Imo Wade has earned more reps and with the second team offense. If he continues to make plays you find a spot. I dont care what the perception of him is. He has the 2 biggest plays of the preseason on limited touches. Lets see if he continues to make plays vs better defenders.
  4. You cant teach his vision. I know its second half of a preseason game, but at the same time no one else on the team is making those plays in similar situations. You find a way to get him on the 53 and create a handful of plays to get him in space.
  5. Johnson looks like a NFL pass rusher. Idc where he was drafted or went to school. There is 0 chance he passes waivers to p.s just based off of the first 2 weeks.
  6. Every practice its Jon Brown, Jon Brown, Jon Brown, Jon Brown. When they line up Brown, Beasley and Foster first snap week 1. Oh my. 2 deep and Beasley cooking guys underneath. The offense will be stupid.
  7. Jadeveon Clowney accounted for at least half of Watts sacks. QBs were literally running into Watt trying to get away from Clowney.
  8. Draft picks withstanding. The Watkins/Darby, Benjamin and Darues all happened than reported. The slow leak and tea leaf reading never ends in a deal being made. It's a wave of retweets of nonsense to increase random Twitter warriors profiles.
  9. Since Beane and McDermott been in town there is very little leaks. If they make a move they do it. It comes out of nowhere.
  10. These obscure sources never hit. It's the kiss of death.
  11. The problem those QBs above have is they are on their 2nd or 3rd contracts. Rodgers is lauded as the best passer of this generation. Even his greatness could not overcome bad drafts and stale coaching. If you have a franchise Qb you pay them. When you do that other parts of your team atrophy due to lack of resources. Paying a guy for 3 to 4 plus years Franchise money when he is not a top 5 or 10 Qb places you in NFL purgatory. You wont be bad but you are not winning a superbowl either. Basically, does Dallas pay Dak then chose Zeke or Cooper? Jaylon Smith or Byron Jones. Once you pay Dak the quality of the Dallas roster slowly goes down. Is Dak good enough to win without a loaded defense and elite running game? Many think not nearly as much. Draft a guy after the season, sell Dak to the highest bidder. Double down on the roster quality. With the picks from Dak or use Dak in a package to move into position to draft a highly heralded Qb in the draft.
  12. This is a question of where the front office feels the team is at. I think you push the chips in on the table and transform the defensive front 7 from good to great. I would go so far to offer a 1 for Clowney. I'm very high on him as a player. Buffalo has good players in the front 7. Only Oliver shows the quality to f a play up and that's nothing more than potential, Clowney does it routinely. If Buffalo added Clowney I would put money on Hughes being top 5 in the league in sacks maybe even leading league.
  13. I dont see him as inaccurate. You dont hit the windows and throws Allen routinely makes if you are an inaccurate/flawed passer. Leading the league in air yards per attempt by a wide margin is more to do with his completion % than the inability to hit a check down or an out route. Completion % is less important if he gets 40, 50, 60 yard pass plays. If he doesnt have those and his completion % is still low you may be onto something.
  14. Send them a second and Connor McDermott. They can draft the OT next year.
  15. Not looking at the contract, not knowing the financial ramifications. Trent Murphy. Lawson on run downs and I want to see the Johnson kid on passing downs. Hughes, Lawson, Johnson and Love if you keep 4.
  16. From games to practice, to Preseason to offseason, the covering of Allen as a whole is confirmation biased reporting. To some Allen's career and lineal in terms of development. No matter what, he is inaccurate. With the addition of Beasley and Singletary his % is going to increase. Having guys who can get open under 10 yards was and is something Allen has never had before. The major take aways from the practice are Allen's and Beasley's continued chemistry and Allen's interaction with Kuechly. He is the best and most instinctual LBs in the NFL. Him giving Allen the time, and Allen having the foresight to get his ear is a good sign.
  17. Kroft is basically a 1 year contract without any penalty. Morse is larger but essentially a 3 year deal. He was the top 1 or 2 centers on the market depending who you ask. Paradis the other center had just as many injury concerns too. They are a little under 4 weeks away. In 2 weeks nothing changes? Now I'm concerned. Not yet. Plenty of time to get reps with Allen and the Oline.
  18. It happens every couple of years. Usually, dlineman. Heck offensive line even. Football is not as overly complex as some think or make it out to be. He showed good vision, and burst to pull off that run. That's about 60% of playing running back. If he can hold onto the ball and take contact well he will be fine.
  19. Bold to think. When's the last time Buffalo had a guy break off a long TD run in the preseason? Fred Jackson? It's been a while I feel like. Simplistic schemes and plays. Wade showed alot of ability. He looks like the most explosive back on the roster. 1 carry so who knows. He has my attention. Hes not a gimmick or waste of time. The coaching, the leaders on the team need to get him to a level of understanding. He shows more throughout the preseason I would find a way to put him on the team. If he can catch, I would consider keeping 5 or 6 Wrs. Now I would give him more carries the next couple of games to see how he handles contact. He does that well color me intrigued.
  20. With Fords ability to move. I could see see them keep 3. You always move Ford to RT if Nyske goes down and have Feliciano or Long play guard. I think they keep 8 to 9 lineman. Tellar would be the 9th.
  21. Linebaker is a position imo that will show in games not practice. He makes some special team tackles and is around the ball while he is in he probably makes the 53. Behind Malano is nothing. Joseph shows a pulse he is on the roster.
  22. McCoy will be the guy week 1. After that? Who is running the best? Gore will be a guy that will make the most of ever carry. The dark horse is Singletary. If he get some big runs McCoy will be in alot of trouble if he has slowed down even slightly.
  23. Wasnt convicted. He was the best player in franchise history.
  24. I agree. Depending on how the trip to Carolina goes, that could be the team building/bonding lost by training at home. The recovery and everything they have in place makes too much sense not to utilize it this time of the year. The team is dealing with bumps and bruises now. Having D3 facilities vs state of the art is really a no brainer.
  25. I understand where he stands on the roster in terms depth chart. I think in terms of packages and matchup he is an interesting guy to watch. Yeldon, 4th or 5th Te, 6th Wr, extra lineman. Special teams and game impact with decide who makes it.
