The reports about him leading into Giants camp were special. He got a arm.

Devin Singletary, welcome to RB1 of the Buffalo Bills
Mat68 replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Idk if he gets 20 traditional runs. However, I expect Singletary to get 20 or so touches a game. Yeldon and Gore are perfect compliments to him. Gadget plays, screens, traditional runs, I think he will be used all over the formation. Think about the situation. Buffalo traded up for him. Drafted him early in round 3. Singletary is primed to have a huge part if the offense. -
And D'Rick Roders before it.

Adams would be a player I would put a claim for.

Dodson is the better linebaker.

Predictions on rushing yards for the bills in 2019
Mat68 replied to Hebert19's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Singletary gets close to 1000 yards. -
The Seatle Seahawks. First 4 seasons under Carroll they had the highest turnover in the league. The NO Saints under Payton same thing. Turning a mediocre franchise into something more takes alot of new faces.
-
Because, Allen ran for 100 yards a game. The style of offense at the end of the year was unsustainable. The efficiency was way down. It was handoff on first No gain or loss. Wait for Allen to make a play.

With the release of McCoy would you reach out to LAC about Melvin Gordon. The cap space saved from McCoy you could allocate to Gordon. Hes got some injury concerns, but still young. Personally, I'm high on Singletary. I think he will be good. Gore and Yeldon are competent compliments. I'm sure Gore gets the starts and Singletary gets the most touches.

The offense was a complete dumpster fire.

31 year old back coming off an abysmal year. Still one of the largest salaries for a Rb. All that creates for a 0 trade market. McCoy at 2 mil or McCoy at 9 are different conversations.

Heavy usage of Singeltary. Yeldon third downs, Gore spell and short yardage. -
So they roll week 1 Gore, Singltary, Yeldon, and Dimarco. My guess. McKenzie is Wr6. 4 Te.

Dawkins is the only Olineman who will make the roster from last years team. -

So the Pat's are now taking our oline scraps? That bodes well for us. -

Pretty impressed by these moves. The Bodine, and Watt were long shots. Not long ago Buffalo cuts someone and they dont get picked up again. -
He should. Long and Twitchy DE could end up being a steal. Overall, the draft looks to be very good. Joseph seems like the only pick who is on the outside looking in.

I think Yarborough and Murphy played themselves on the roster. How? Idk. McCloud and Williams makes the Wr question more complicated. I could see 5 Wrs or 7. This is a group I have very little feel for. I think Lacy played himself off the roster. I think they go Dotson or Joseph. For the 6th lb. I think Buffalo makes a few more trade. There are I believe 2 teams with 2 good punters. I think they flip a guy for a punter. The next 2 days will be intersting.

A cut Saturday now a 5th and 7th. Goes to show the improved interior lineman play. He was the best interior lineman on the roster a year ago. Looks like Dawkins will be the only lineman on the roster from a year ago.

The Patriots defense snuffed out kid genius. Bill is a defensive wizard. With that said, having an extremely efficient offense has helped mask their personnel liabilities. Buffalo has to earn it on the feild and win games before they get any attention.

The Bills need to keep Duke Williams
Mat68 replied to transplantbillsfan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
The actual numbers were only brought up because the point was previously made that Jones showed only incremental improvement. If Jones doesnt have a better year or significantly more efficient Im good with moving on. The bottom of the roster Wrs will not be expected to produce even the numbers Zay did last year if they make the team. -

I'm not a personal fan of Zay Jones. I'm a fan of the Bill's. The majority of fans are cats, they just follow the lazer pointer, or shiny new object and miss the bigger picture. I'm well aware of Williams. I watched every video I could find of him on YouTube when he was signed. I also understand that the preseason for the most part is meaningless. Zay Jones vs Duke Williams. Jones is quicker and faster. Jones made it through 2 NFL seasons fairly healthy. Jones is 2 years removed from be a 2nd Rd pick. Williams went undrafted, cut unsigned. He had a hell of a year last year but he isnt a better Wr than Jones imo. Robert Woods was very similar here. Identical numbers. Went to a good offense and boom he is actually pretty good. Wr is a funky position. It can take 3 or so years. I am all for figuring out how to get duke Williams on the roster. Do you cut Yeldon? Idk probably not. Cut down the number of Tes? Or Olineman? If Morse can make it through the season sure but that seems iffy. -

No one last year would call the Bill's offense prolific. Putting up average Wr numbers on a well below average passing offense tells me he is an NFL wr. Only reading comment after comment of how Buffalo should cut Jones to keep Williams is what prompted my responses. If Jones is cut. Its a huge gamble to think Williams or McKenzie catch over 50 balls, over 600 yards and catch 7 tds. I dont see that in either guy. If they accomplished it, I think it would be viewed as a positive. My point being that is the same stat line Jones needs to improve off of. Its 1 step forward 2 steps back imo. -

His 2 slants? The lob in the corner for his first Td? Yes, I like his size. I dont keep him over Brown, Beasley, Foster, Jones, Roberts. Now the decision of how many wrs? I think they go with that 5 with Te, Rb, or Oline picking up the extra spots. Probably, bring Williams back week 2 so his contract is non guaranteed.
