Third Quarter Anemic Offense (Getting Better Every Week)
Mat68 replied to Gugny's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
With the offense I umderstand it. Games when you have a lead your not changing too much. The second half your going to adjust to the adjustment in a way. Sunday Buffalo was the team who had to make a change and they did. -
As expected. Wright admitted to checking the "Bills message board" on TV this morning. Picking Denver to upset Buffalo. He is a stooge. Leaning in for clicks and traffic.

Longest Throw ever recorded belongs to.....

First play max protect have Allen throw one in endzone from the 20. Pi or td. No way a corner runs that far and makes a play on it. -

With Denver at elevation Allen could throw a 75 plus yard pass this Saturday. -
Did D. Williams Make a LOT of $ Tonight?

Idk about Butler. He looks like the only guy getting constant penetration. But overall, yes its possible to resign all three. I feel like I differ from most on the value of Milano. I feel like he is a good rb. You dont over pay, and he could be replaced in multiple ways. -
Herd has Buffalo over KC as top team in NFL
Mat68 replied to racketmaster's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
A team that routinely "flipps a switch" eventualy will put themselves in a situation where its too late. They slept walked through some poor football teams. Last year vs some poor offenses got down and came back. They cannot beat Buffalo playing that way. Im sorry but Buffalo has fought through differant defensive game plans. That game plan wont work again. The Dolphins are disgustingly average and with 4 TO couldnt get the lead. Its proven in sports. Teams that sleep walk through a season dont wake up. -
Spread them out go 3 to 4 wide. The exotic looks from Fangio will be hard to pull off now. Get the ball out quick and take advantage from coverage breakdowns. Should be pitch and catch. Run the ball in the second half and win the division.

Seems like this was mutualy ocestrated for cheap Mafia clicks. Bills mafia is coming out in force on the internet and they are manipulating it for traffic imo.

Knox not having usage in college or high school makes that a skill he may never have. Not many Te's though have it. I feel the guys I listed are better in that area but are not elite.

John Brown designated to return from IR
Mat68 replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Get him 100%. With him hqving sickle cell trait no need to risk it. The way Buffalo is playing they need Brown 100%, they dont need him just on the feild. Wildcard weekend having him would be huge. -
Knox is athletic for the position. Adding another plus recieving threat would be a good idea. Makes Buffalo more multiple. If Ertz leaves Philly thats interesting but expensive. Late round 1 I think Buffalo can get one of the top Tes. This years crop is pretty good on top. Pitts from Fl, Jordan from the U and Farimuth from PSU would all would be good value there. Idk how Buffalo values Te to draft one that high might not happen.

ESPN Cover Story: Stefon Diggs Is Buffalo's Miracle Man
Mat68 replied to BigDingus's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
No. Il recommend going back and listening or watch Chris Simms unbotton podcast when the trade happened. He thought it was a perfect fit with Dabol and Allen. He said Diggs will come in and do all the edleman/ welker stuff underneath. Simms said he was an elite route runner and understands why he was frustrated with Minnesota because they were not using him right. If you take that away he is also one of the best deep threats in the league. After listening to Simms for a few years, dating back to bleacher report, the majority of media do not watch games. They all go with the same narrative. One person says something everyone goes with it. Too many games most people dont watch enough to form their own opinion and it shows. Buffalo doesnt need to lead the league in rushing. They do need to run when they need to. Last 7 minutes vs Pitts is huge. That wins. Establishing the run is a mis nomer. Buffalo didnt go to 4 straight by establishing the run. -
I think Thomas' production in Buffalo would be similar to Knox. I dont think you could excpect no more than 4-5 targets a game. I think vs Pitts Thomas was around 12. An earlier poster had a draft breakdown of Knox. Basically, he had the upside of an average starter on a playoff team. That raised the question dont bad teams want good players etc. The differance in target share is why. The football team has a lack of offensive talent. Thomas is getting usage he would not get elsewhere. Knox is 22 or 23? Thomas is 30? Who do you want going forward?
-
I think he has average starter upside. His lack of college success put him behind. I would like Buffalo to target Pitts or Faruemuth or Jordan in rd 1. Now as a wing/hback i think Knox would be dangerous.

Kc was game plan. Tennesee ran well once the game was in hand. Cardinals was due to Kyler Murray. I get they are looking at the positive to win. Its getting pretty lazy to say Buffalo is terrible against the run. So run it and we win. 10 teams had that same gameplan. 49ers and Pitts both had that idea. Both got shut down. I dont see how Buffalo losses the game.

ESPN Cover Story: Stefon Diggs Is Buffalo's Miracle Man
Mat68 replied to BigDingus's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I like how the now Bills fans are pushing back and saying Buffalo won the trade. Funny how the narrative was Buffalo paid too much. Besides price Diggs would not be more productive than he was for Cousins. No way Allen gets more out of him. Now, hes on pace for the best season of his career and will be named first team all pro. Jefferson is a very good player. However, Buffalo needed more than a talented pass catcher. In terms of the trade, this is what he brings besides catching the football. His attitude and swaggers brings so much to this team. -
The majority of people dont watch football outside of their team. When those people talk they make themselves known. The way to slow this Bills offense is getting hits on Allen. Make him throw off his back foot. Thats it. You need him in the pocket and pressure. Give him an espace lane good luck. In the first half Pittsburgh did that. Second half, the offense went to short passing attack and negated the pressure.

Diggs makes Beasley, Brown, and Davis more productive. In terms of coverage and defensive priority Diggs is 1 and 1. Now what do they do with Beasley, Brown, and Davis? Last week, first half was Buffalo vs Baltimore. Thats how teams beat them. Diggs destroyed that in the second half. He is getting open by 10 yards on 10 yard routes. Its unreal. I like how Daboll changed the attack. He needs to do it sooner. In the playoffs you cant give up 1 quarter let alone 2. -
Tre white getting a house call on saturday. Just in time for dinner.

This is why Edmunds is going to be great. The defense goes as he goes. Obviously, he played hurt the majority of the year. Against SF he stepped up and shut down the middle. At 22 standing in a room of men he spoke and and im sure everyone listened. That is pretty incredible.
-
He is trolling. Imo he is holding out hope that Allen plays like he did vs Houston in their playoff game this year. He watched Kc, and Tennessee and confirmed in his mind that Allen is poor. I would really enjoy Allen knocking his Cheifs off and see him squirm. At the end of the day him and a few random lesser people in the media still hold on to Allen isnt good enough. The vast majority agree Allen is on his way to being a star.
