Edwards was found not guilty on some charges because the jury found that he acted solely to prevent the news of his affair from reaching his wife. The jury was hung on other charges. Unlike Trump, Edwards acted to cover up his affair immediately. He didn’t wait for a decade until he was running for office. In Trump’s case, the jury believed he acted not to prevent Melania from finding out but to help his campaign, which is a violation of campaign finance laws. I know these things seem super obvious to someone with a couple of brain cells to rub together but I guess you’re too much of a mastermind to recognize the obvious reality.

You literally said Edwards didn’t face charges. Now you’re moving the goalpost to say he wasn’t convicted. Can you read your own writing? Or is that too hard for you too?

It’s hard to imagine, but there are people out there whose brains have been so damaged by cable TV and the internet that they believe that Biden is prosecuting Menedez and Cuellar because they don’t fall in line even though the prosecutions risk the Dem majority in the Senate and could expand the GOP House majority. Not to mention that he’s somehow failed to stop the prosecution of his son for a crime that is likely to be found unconstitutional by SCOTUS. Some people just need to throw their phones into the ocean and touch some grass.

Joe Biden has such terrible dementia that he has to be drugged to give speeches but also he’s such a master manipulator that he controls all of the state courts and coordinates them against his opponents.

Personally, I don’t like the state killing citizens, even if they are deserving of it. I get the justification, I think the strike was legal, I just personally don’t like it.

As deplorable as that drone strike was, I have a hard time believing that SCOTUS would rule in a way that it could be found to have been an unofficial act and therefore prosecutable.

Remember the golden rule of conservatism: “There must be in-groups whom the law protects but does not bind, alongside out-groups whom the law binds but does not protect.” They’re mad because the law is binding someone on the in-group and that is unacceptable to them.
