The tweet was literally just the conclusion from the state's investigative committee. Are you saying that they lied? If a hospital delays life saving care until it's too late, is that ok because it could have been prevented earlier in an alternative universe where different things happened or people took different actions?

You could have just read the article, which included all of that information. But it's easier to just assume everything is what you want it to be.

People who push and promote these laws want everyone to believe that it's all black and white and totally simple. All abortions are elective. The laws are written clearly and in ways that allow for doctors to do normal care. They want it to be simple because if people understood the messy truth, they would oppose these laws. Of course their claims are not true. Some of them know it. Some of them are just ignorant (like the people who post about articles not including information that was in the article). A woman was suffering from a condition that required abortion treatment to resolve. The hospital delayed that treatment for 20 hours, and as a result, she died. An official state committee determined that it was this delay likely killed her. Now, instead of saying "why was there a delay?" because it might, just might, make them realize that fear of prosecution is causing such delays all across the country in states with Dobbs era abortion laws, these bad-faithed and/or ignorant actors are blaming a pill that has been documented to have been utilized 6 million times in almost a quarter century with just 32 reported deaths (information that was also in the article that apparently Tommy Eyerolls is incapable of reading). They'll blame the pill instead of the delayed treatment. So instead of realizing that they've directly put women in harm's way, they'll likely double down and advocate for policies that will only worsen the problems. They just don't care. They'll live in their fantasy world and damn anyone who is harmed or even dies because of the policies they support. Ghouls.
