  1. I don't think the issues have to be combined. You can appreciate him as a player, and what he brings to the sport whilst also not liking that hit. If you only praise players who have never done anything wrong, it's going to be a pretty short list
  2. Your 3rd RB needs to a special teamer, and that isn't Wade. If it wasn't for the exclusive rights and extra spot, he would be on a PS in the league at all. Yeah, let's get rid of an All Pro returner for a guy who has never returned kicks. In Rugby Union he played wing, not full back, so it's not he has experience from the 1 position in Rugby Union which is even remotely similar to an NFL returner
  3. There is a pretty good inverse correlation between how regularly a team changes their uniform and how good the uniforms are.
  4. Or Antonio Williams. Who was suggested by Bleacher Report. He is a special teamer RB
  5. I thought Duke Williams was Brandon Reilly?
  6. Who? Who are these mythical other return men? Hyde is fine for a safe catch, Mckenzie is a liability, so who are these return men you claim? It'd be a very short competition. So is Lionel Messi, and I don't want him as our returner either. Some people on this board are Brits who are rugby union fans so have watched Wade for years so know what he is capable of.
  7. If he played Full Back in Rugby you might have a point but he didn't, he played wing. Aside from an occasional up and under, he wouldn't have faced much kick returning
  8. And gadget players have value. Big slow WRs who drop the ball don't. Hodgins offers everything Williams does and a lot more.
  9. I think its closer to WR9. I'm no Mckenzie fan, but he's clearly ahead. Roberts is a virtual lock as our only good returner. Foster actually has production unlike Williams and Hodgins has style similarities but is younger and can actually catch.
  10. I think a better Brandon Reilly 2.0 is a better comparison. A fan favourite for a portion of the fan base with little to deserve it. I agree, he was far better hands and body control. With his age I don't see them keeping Williams around on the PS either.
  11. Anyone who doesnt rate Matt Schaub 32 hasn't watched Matt Schaub in the last 5 years. That list is a joke. AJ McCarron above Barkley? The importance of knowing something about football if you are creating power rankings shouldn't be understated. You would get a better list if the names had been selected at random
  12. The more interesting RB debate for me is the suggestion on a Bleacher Report UDFA article that Antonio Williams could take Yeldon's spot. It'd save over 1m in cap space and Williams is a special teams guy which is a big help for your RB3 https://bleacherreport.com/articles/2890548-every-nfl-teams-undrafted-free-agent-most-likely-to-make-their-2020-roster
  13. Was he? That's not how I remember him. He was a very efficient 1 cut runner, who had decent speed and power. But exciting? Not really. He was a solid complimentary back. That's all
  14. Maybe. Let's get Dri Archer to be our return guy whilst we're at it.
  15. I'd rather watch the Buccs with the likes of Evans and Godwin that watching rubbish like the Cowboys or Giants
  16. It's a no from me. We need all the cap space we can get to pay players and with other teams having a lot of space still, he'll get paid big by someone like the Jets or Dolphins. He's a good player, but sometimes it's the wrong deal for the current situation
  17. Let someone else take a chance on him. The Bills have changed, they no longer need to go taking chances on old FAs who have done nothing for years. Signings like Karlos Williams as a FA belong in a different era
  18. Not a chance. Green has been injury after injury in recent years
  19. Not surprising. They are going to have enough challenges trying to figure out the Premier League backlog without the NFL in the mix.
  20. They inflated deals for every future LT and CB. This is a classic case of a nice problem to have. I'd rather have the LT and CB and figure out the money than not have them
  21. The fact he has been a captain for the Bills shows they clearly DO place a value on his leadership
  22. How do you know? It's a relatively young roster that has lost a number of experienced veterans in recent years
  23. I can't give someone too much credit for the Moss prediction. I can't remember a non day 1 pick in recent times mocked more often than Moss at 86. Likewise Hodgins was a fairly common one. Fair enough on Jackson but I can't imagine a 6th rounder is based on much more than a logical dart throw
  24. Maybe some people just would like to judge the evidence as they see it. People can respect experienced voices but equally challenge them. In this era more than ever before, information is used as a tool, positively and negatively, so it's entirely reasonable for people not to accept everything they hear on a topic such as this without challenge
  25. I quite like the Epenesa choice, it's like a torch passing from Lorenzo Alexander.
