  1. Do you really not understand how Josh having to scramble for 83 seconds might pad the "time to throw" averages a bit? It's also really unfair to compare him to Mahomes, who is infamous for his 6 inch "shovel passes" driving down his time to throw and driving up his completion percentage. Anything to stay atop the passing charts I guess.
  2. Or since the best ability is availability, they value Bates' availability as a top tier backup at several different positions more than they value him being a marginal upgrade at a single position as a starter.
  3. It was absolutely necessary to dig this thread up out of a two year grave just to say that.
  4. I agree I want to see more of Isabella, but I wasn't sold on Shavers after the pick six and followup drop.
  5. I'm as big a believer in Davis as the next guy, but I'm in the "jeeze, let's at least see him play in a preseason game first to see how he's taking to the new schemes and routes" camp.
  6. I only happened to tune in at the 2 minute warning, but they just showed the face mask he got earlier and holy crap lol. Then again if that's a Chiefs player ripping Josh's face off it probably doesn't get called, like that uncalled tripping last year.
  7. I can see the clickbait "Buffalo is in shambles" headlines now... "Diggs rages against little people at local supermarket."
  8. To put the sentences into perspective, burning a woman to death from drunk driving only carries a 50% higher minimum sentence than selling ONE GRAM of cocaine. That woman and her dog deserve a second chance, but they're not going to get it. So neither should he.
  9. For some reason reminded me of my other point I forgot to mention. I think another reason for this obsession with believing Beane didn't really want Kincaid is that this offseason more than any other in memory, people are DESPERATE for there to be problems in Buffalo. They need to believe our window is closing and will grasp at any and all straws to maintain that delusion. Confirmation bias everywhere. - Beane didn't make a savvy move to get ahead of Dallas to take the TE he couldn't believe fell that far thanks to a run on WRs, he really is just a bad GM who panicked and wasted resources when the WRs he actually wanted were gone and he had to grasp at whatever best option was left. - The Diggs "situation" isn't a big nothing burger that happens all the time, it's a sure sign he wants out of Buffalo and hates being here, trade is imminent. - Josh Allen having a life outside of football including (gasp) having relationships isn't a normal part of life, it's a sign he'll be distracted and not committed to winning. Playing golf is also ruining his arm. - The Bills not fully compensating the contracts of Hines (off work accident) and Araiza (found to be innocent a year past no longer being with the team) aren't just how business in the NFL works, it's proof of the Bills being a scum organization that doesn't have their players' backs. - Elam having to fight for the CB2 spot isn't a good problem to have in that our late rounders were hidden gems outplaying their status, he's just trash and another Beane draft bust. - Etc etc etc with basically anything involving the Bills this offseason.
  10. You think the later round pick we gave up would have done more for us long term than upgrading our 1st rounder to the...(checks notes)...top pass catcher in the draft class who was generally considered to be a top 10 pick? You're right, trading up in the 1st to "get our guy" really didn't work out long term with...(checks notes)...Josh Allen.
  11. I still find it mind boggling how seemingly still nobody around the league can fathom the idea of Beane actually wanting Kincaid. They keep saying he panicked when there was the run on WRs he actually wanted and scrambled to grab what pass catcher was left. I think everyone is still hung up on the TE label Kincaid has. We gave a big money extension to Knox, so nobody can wrap their heads around us wanting another "just a TE". They can understand goal line/bruiser vs speed vs pass catcher RBs, pass rush vs run stuffing vs coverage LBs, but all TEs are exactly the same and "heavy slot" is just too bizarre a concept for them.
  12. Reg season loss to the Jaguars a couple seasons ago is criminally underrated as a "worst officiated game ever" candidate. Jags got away with no less than 3 uncalled obvious false starts on one (I think scoring) drive alone. I'm talking the right tackle repeatedly being a full yard or more off his starting position by the time the ball is snapped. I wholly admit we didn't play our best game, but the Jags still needed the mother of all striped advantages to capitalize on that.
  13. Elam having to compete for CB2 is a GOOD problem to have. It's not because Elam sucks, it's because both Jackson and Benford have outperformed their draft status. Imagine complaining about having 4 starting quality outside CBs plus possibly the best slot CB in the league.
  14. Plus a sack for Damar playing in garbage time.
  15. Plus 3 for Miller if he plays. Gonna be a boat race to see who gets to hit the old man more.
  16. (Buffalo is without White and about 32 other defensive starters, playing with 4000 degree heat on the Bills sideline. ) Miami fans- "Excuses are for losers. We own you." (Ramsey goes down.) Miami fans- "If we lose, it's only because we have LITERALLY THE MOST DECIMATED ROSTER IN THE HISTORY OF FOOTBALL)."
  17. Miami must have a handful of secret fans with 20 trillion IQs locked away somewhere to skew their average score into the top 10.
  18. Big tough full of themselves guys drive SUVs now. He probably wanted the prestige of a Lambo but the "toughguyness" of an SUV. It's like getting a pit bull from an expensive upscale dog breeder.
  19. Fred Jackson once rushed for more yards in a game than Marshawn Lynch in a game where Lynch rushed for more than 100 yards. Fred's first 100 yard game in the NFL and my first live Bills game. Large part of the reason he became my favorite player on offense. Levitre-Wood-Wang once formed an offensive line core that really knew how to penetrate up the middle. Aaron Williams deserved better. Nobody still knows til this day how to spell or pronounce Jairus/Jarius Byrd, who threatened the single seaon INT record as a rookie CB converted to S.
  20. Easy to do with fatigue turned off for infinite stamina...
  21. His history of being a "no stone left unturned" GM, which is how we landed Diggs after a year plus of courting the Vikings, would not suggest he was going to/should have given $15m/year to someone we couldn't get that value out of. May as well give $30m/year to a backup QB. *edit* Should mention Kincaid (or hypothetical top WRs in draft) is a hell of a lot more cap friendly than Hopkins. We could afford the luxury pick of a drafted weapon. Once we already have that luxury, mortgaging the future to sign Hopkins for shorter than Kinkaid's rookie contract would be downright malicious mismanagement of the roster and cap.
  22. Of course he's going to pull 1k yards, he's going to be the unquestioned #1 WR in that relatively weak WR room. No way we get that sort of value out of him on our team at anywhere close to the money the Titans gave him. In what world would it make sense to give him $10m+/year when we honestly don't really need him? We added Cook and Kinkaid, Knox will benefit from better O-line play freeing him to go out and catch balls, and our WR signings are underrated. Davis is fine as WR2.
  23. He'd be higher on the list, maybe even top 5, if our O-line played better and he wasn't needed to stay in and block.
  24. If we can cut the bad injury luck in half, we steamroll the league with 15 wins and the #1 seed. People love pinning the weak playoff performance on McD and put him on the hot seat, but we had about 312 legitimate reasons to be gassed out come playoff time.
  25. Literally came here to ask the same thing when I saw it still on the front page.
