Jets OT TD should have been called back...
1ManRaid replied to Reed83HOF's topic in The Stadium Wall
First and 10 on the 42. Foul at the 27, 15 yard penalty to the 42, plus 18 yards for end zone and snap = 60 yard FG. Odds are the Jets run 3x up the middle for no yards. I'll take those odds any day over literally just handing the Jets the win with a TD on a blown call. That's the difference it would make, you sad quitter. How are you getting the 20? Foul was at the 27, plus 15 yard penalty to the 42. That's a 60 yard FG hardly a chip shot. 42 yard line, foul at the 27. -
Singular point imo when Josh started regressing

For the record, the RT for the Jags was the same one who is now in the news about cheating for the Chiefs. And yes, he was doing it just as bad back then. Gotta learn from the way Tua and the Fish took what the Chargers were giving them. They were for some reason happy to give Tua his strength of throwing over the middle, until they panicked and started crashing the middle only to leave Hill open down the sidelines for easy TDs. But as for our receivers being little mites who can't make contested catches? Huh? Diggs is no giant but he makes contested catches all the time. Davis is a big boy who also makes them. Then there's our tight ends, plenty of guys you must be confusing with our slot receivers. -
2023 NFL Season - Week #1 - Bills at Jets - 1st half game thread
1ManRaid replied to BuffaloBill's topic in The Stadium Wall
I'm willing to bet cash money that was a "Gardner Special" that caused the receiver to not get far enough for the ball. I bet the "Josh needs to stop running" were screaming at their TVs for him to leg out thr first down. -
He said the toilet wasn't flushing when they were done with the installation and he couldn't get them to stay and fix it lol. The lads (me) can't be there because the place is a disaster until they finish the work tomorrow.

I can't believe you slackers haven't gotten around to making this thread yet. My friend's place suddenly needed emergency plumbing done for burst sewage pipes, so I'm having bar food at the Canadian base for the Bills Backers (Manhattans in St Catharines, Ontario). Starting with the good ole burger and fries and seeing from there.

ANY offense would look legit when the opposing defense (like today's Chargers) go "Oh, you're good at literally one single thing, throwing over the middle to YAC merchant receivers? Well then we're going to leave the middle of the field uncovered and DARE you to try to beat us that way!" I have no idea what they were trying to accomplish.
-
It helps that the Chargers apparently didn't read the scouting report on Tua living on throws over the middle. It's ridiculous how they're just letting guys run free down the middle and making Tua look good tossing to YAC merchants.

Sure. Your place, or mine? It's a very thorough and hands on demonstration. -
NEED HELP: Heckling on field and in the tunnel for the Jets game

I have an amazing tip on how to smuggle one in that is guaranteed to get through a pat down. -
Pro tip, check the time stamps on thr "breaking news" you're trying to drop. If it's more than an hour old, 99% chance we already know and have multiple threads about. Maybe use the search feature.

Officials allowed the Chiefs to cheat the entire game
1ManRaid replied to Gisele's topic in The Stadium Wall
That rocking back and forth like a drug addict was a bigger tell than Lamar's habit of tucking his chin on handoffs and keeping his head up if he was going to keep it and run. -
Officials allowed the Chiefs to cheat the entire game
1ManRaid replied to Gisele's topic in The Stadium Wall
It's literally a carbon copy of what happened to us against the Jags a couple years ago, and cost us the game. Sure we played like crap, but it was a close game and all the non calls for their RT being a full 2 yards off the ball when snapped on every play helped the Jags. *edit* Tackles lining up so far back and never being called for it is one of my biggest pet peeves about officiating.- 107 replies

Nyheim Hines is suing the person who hit him on a jetski
1ManRaid replied to Draconator's topic in The Stadium Wall
"Knock it off with that 'public pressure' crap, or we'll call your bluff and you won't get a dime." But on the note of Hines being partially responsible, I kind of see where the unpopular opinion is coming from. Of course he is right to sue and should get every dime he legally can, but it's still stupid for a professional athlete to be engaging in such an inherently dangerous activity. It's akin to buying a lottery ticket with the prize of pain and suffering, and losing a livelihood worth literally millions of dollars. No reason to become a recluse in bubble wrap, but maybe stay off the jet skis, motorcycles, etc. There's a reason these activities are often banned in contracts. -
I had a free bet so I put it on the Lions winning, but Goff makes betting on them shaky. Last year he was historically good at home/terrible on the road.

Whenever a Bills player demonstrates a hint of swagger, everyone blows up about them being classless distraction to the team and a diva who wants to leave the team for reasons.
-
From what I could tell, the 3.3 beers is mostly about when watching the team on TV. Pre-gaming in the parking lot at the game itself is often about not having to pay ridiculous beer prices during the game. I know it is for me.

Yes. We know. It's been known for decades.

Eli Apple has bounty placed on him by angry ex-girlfriend

It's not the fines she'd have to worry about, it's the slam dunk lawsuit and criminal charges. -
I gotta be the guy to point out that this tattoo is not new.

The Bills will have the highest scoring NFL offense in '23
1ManRaid replied to Inigo Montoya's topic in The Stadium Wall
Yeah it's bothered me that they focus only on the things that stayed the same and ignore the improvements. Sure the starting tackles weren't upgraded (a regular focus of the "they didn't improve" crowd) but the new guards alone should be worth another point per game. Marginal upgrades at RB and WR combine for another point per game. Kinkaid paired with Knox could damn well be worth another TD per game but to be conservatively realistic I'll say another point per game. Imagine us with an extra field goal on average per game. Of course the counter argument is if our defense is weaker that means less time for the offense to be on the field, but I'm not seeing it. We "lost" Edmunds, that's it. I was a fan of his but admit he was overrated by many and had serious flaws he never seemed to work out. Whomever wins the job or plugging in the new guy from Houston shouldn't be a big drop off. The age of Hyde/Poyer/Milano isn't an issue until proven otherwise. They just had bad luck with fluke injuries last year. Our CBs should be even better this year with a 100% White no longer recovering from his injury, and more experience from Jackson/Elam/Benford. D-line should be about the same, possibly better if Floyd shows out. *edit* Oh and I should add that statistically we were the hardest hit team by injuries in the entire AFC last year, with injuries to about 312% of our defensive starters and half the offense. Absolutely ludicrous that we're being picked to drop off so far and even miss the playoffs. We'll be better than ever and show everyone up like the Chiefs did last year being doubted after losing Hill. -
That caught me off guard and I might have peed a little laughing.

7-6 in 2021 was a massive fluke filled with screwjobs and things beyond our control. Of those 6 losses only 2 were legitimate straight up losses in the somewhat flukey week 1 against Steelers and the beating from Indy. The other 4 were... - Titans aided by multiple uncalled blatant holds on Henry's long TD run, and Josh's foot slipping on crap turf. - Loss to Jags which I consider the worst officiated game that nobody talks about, because it wasn't a high profile game. - Windstorm game against Patriots completely nerfing our passing offense vs the more run focused Pats. - Buccs DBs getting away with committing war crimes against Diggs in a game that had no business making it to OT. And those all came after a 4 game stretch where we went 156-41 point differential with 2 shutouts and a dominant road win in KC.

Was he the guy who threw for 3 yards per attempt and 50% completion, all the while the home announcers were sucking him off like he was the next Patrick Mahomes?
-
And you think weakening his blind side won't lead to more hits in the pocket? Contrary to popular belief, he doesn't needlessly scramble on EVERY snap.
-
You sure about that? Your solution to Josh frequently having to scramble is to further weaken his blind side and make him have to scramble more. You trying to get him injured?
