  1. Quit bishing about holding on 3rd down, they would have declined the penalty anyways so no use throwing the flag.
  2. It sounds pretty simple. If the receiver doesn't "survive the process" of the catch as he hits the ground, it's not a catch. Can't be a fumble either because they'd be down instantly upon hitting the ground. Has to be an interception if the ball didn't hit the ground and was never in proper possession of the receiver.
  3. He was never on the bridge or even intentionally approaching the checkpoint from either side, wrong way or not. The vehicle in question has a top speed of approximately 200mph, and gained speed with the stuck accelerator going up Main Street. It ramped off the median where Main turns off towards the bridge, cleared the fence, and landed in the secondary screening area where they search cars on the US intake side.
  4. That's Douglas. I think he was asking about Ramsey. The answer would be no, he only had 1 tackle and was seldomly targeted.
  5. 2 good WR and a good TE? You mean like Diggs, Shakir, and Kincaid/Knox? What he needed was a new OC, so watch him go off.
  6. Which, for the uninformed, has had a recall order for sticking accelerators.
  7. So they didn't know yet, as in not "apparently". You mean possibly or likely.
  8. From that distance and resolution, it's not clearly anything. Not saying it isn't, but not clearly is. Would be a coincidence for the wheel to look exactly like a Tesla but be on a gas car. All kinds of weird stuff with this one.
  9. If it was a Tesla (which it appeared to me from the wheel in the wreckage), it didn't "just blow up". Teslas burn, they don't detonate. A high speed wreck might catastrophicly rupture the batteries to basically explode. Also a Tesla would be a weird terrorist car to blow up.
  10. No, it looks like someone going the wrong way on what would normally be the US intake side. Reports saying they saw a car going the wrong way at a high speed, and pictures show impact wreckage in the secondary inspection area in the direction of the booths. Wreckage shows a wheel matching the turbine wheels from a Tesla Model Y. Seems someone either got stopped at the border and sent in for an inspection where they tried to swing back around and race back in the direction they came from, or just someone making a break for the border in the wrong direction and exploded the Tesla in a high speed crash.
  11. Why are you so desperate to believe there is a problem? The media has their baseless agendas for clicks, this will always be one of them.
  12. Where are these weirdos suddenly coming out of nowhere from?
  13. Blowing teams out by 3+ TDs every week after week 1 = broken? Did you even watch the games? Do you know what team's fan forum you are on?
  14. I don't think this thread ever counted as positively contributing to the forum/community.
  15. Blatant uncalled push off by Wilson.
  16. Coulda swore we already had a thread on this (I remember someone bringing up the YouTube series documenting him being busted for scamming) but oh well can't find it now. He's as low character as they come, don't want him anywhere near the team. He didn't retire just to sell cards, he thought he could make more money SCAMMING people with Pokémon cards than by being a mediocre NFL player (or at least make the money with less effort). He hired people he could teach to rig and manipulate the carnival style live streams. Long story short, they had ways of knowing what cards were in the packs, and would do slight of hand to rig the bets on what kinds of cards were in the packs being bought and opened live. Got busted and banned despite being part owner of the platform it was on, now wants back into football.
  17. So you know he's only good enough to be a backup, despite claiming to not know anything about him...am I getting this right? I'm hearing "WAAAHHH WE DIDN'T GET GUY IIIIIIIIII WANTED!"
  18. It's literally to prevent a Mighty Ducks Flying V formation of 300+ pound offensive linemen plowing a path to the endzone for Baker through all those smaller DBs flooding the back end. Have to at least throw a few guys at the O-line to keep them honest and maintain the numbers advantage for the jump ball.
  19. I'm surprised there's still someone who doesn't know Wembley is a dual pitch arena. The grass is rolled out and reserved for soccer matches, while the NFL gets stuck with the artificial base of turf.
  20. There was a poll that showed 97% of people hears him say JR Smith. The other 3% are apparently weird Swift fans or trolls... I didn't even know who JR Smith was and I distinctly remember going "Who is JR Smith, some basketball player I assume?" when it happened live. It was that obvious to me what he was saying.
  21. How does losing your punter to a rightful ejection in the 1st quarter NOT affect the game? I'll never understand people pulling "it didn't affect the game" just because it wasn't the literal last deciding play of the game or something. Butterfly Effect, things change. Ahhh YOU be serious. Throwing a punch is an AUTOMATIC ejection no matter what helmet the other guy is wearing.
  22. Yeah I don't get how people don't understand going for high hits late is a gamble. These guys are getting greedy and going for the high strip, where it turns into feast or famine of pass deflection/fumble if it connects vs smart QB snapping their head back and getting a free penalty if they miss. Josh is so good at powering out of sacks that guys are going after the ball instead, and ANY QB with 2 brain cells to rub together would embellish a little when defenders get sloppy with throwing hands up in their faces.
  23. Curiously, at least last year, Mahomes rarely ever pulled a DPI it was all (a league leading amount of) holdings and illegal contacts. Aside from 6 inch shovel passes basically being impossible to interfere with, DPI is a high profile and visible penalty that will get scrutinized (see our Giants and Bucs finishes). Defensive holding/IC by definition happens away from the play and can be thrown as a bailout on basically any play without much scrutiny. Weird how KC is considered to have a weak WR corps, but they just apparently keep burning defenders so bad they keep holding...
  24. On our OPI, it looked to me like the NE defender threw himself in front of Murray to be knocked down, like a basketball defender trying to draw a charging foul. Murray was denied the right to run his route, but the defender sold the contact better. As for the picked up ineligible man downfield, definite "make up call" from earlier.
  25. We don't need more random thought threads.
