  1. All Bills RBs had 4+ carries, and Zack Moss was the only one not to average 5+ yards per rush 😡... ... ... ... ...because he was handed the ball twice on the 1 yard line which he effortlessly waltzed in for scores, lowering his average. Established as goal line back? *edit* In fact, he was the only one not to average at least 6.1 yards, and one of only two (Duke Johnson who also had 2 TDs) not to average at least 9.5 yards.
  2. What gets me about people hyping up Jones as a franchise/MVP QB is the example I use from the playoff game. Jones and Allen had nearly identical plays with opposite results. Jones got picked off by Hyde because his noodle arm needs to give deep passes hangtime to get distance, Josh fired his 10 more air yards with less hangtime for a wide open TD. That's the difference between Pro Bowl (alternate) and All Pro. Jones will likely be successful to a degree, but never elite. *edit* Even last week when he had that one "great" deep pass to the sideline, I was half expecting Hyde to appear at the last moment with how long that hung in the air. That play was all on the WR doing well and DB shortcomings, not on Jones' skill.
  3. You make a ton of assumptions for someone who has no idea what the playcalls or read progressions were. Could have been practicing plays to set up for field goals. Chill yo negative ass out.
  4. Mitch talked about how different things were in Buffalo re: QB development and coaching, so I'm not going to hold a past against him after a few years of Bills coaching if they have trust in him.
  5. And...Spectre?
  6. A couple missed arm tackles? (Ticky tack) penalties? I dunno, I'm having to stretch here. What a feeling. 16/18 for 192 yards and a TD, and passed the eye test? Yes. Oh wait you're the negative guy nevermind.
  7. I mean Keenum already proved himself...
  8. I believe it's called a "good problem to have" since Barkley also looked good last week.
  9. Moorman was my first jersey for a reason...
  10. I love how they're still going for a TD. Practice how you play.
  11. I wasn't paying attention, moving forward at the snap? I thought I heard that.
  12. ***** Crowder. Not making a good case to be a starter or even on the roster.
  13. You mean Super Bowl.
  14. Holy crap Johnson trying to get his receiver killed.
  15. I CANNOT OVERSTATE HOW HYPED I AM FOR OUR RBS RIGHT NOW I AM A DIAMOND IN A SNOWSTORM
  16. Ok sure it's called back for a hold away from the play, but damn Moss looks good.
  17. Singletary, Moss, and Cook all looking like starters. Johnson might be the odd man out. Hopefully Blackshear can sneak onto the practice squad. It's only a hot take because Singletary and Moss have ALSO looked great. Otherwise I'd be inclined to agree with you.
  18. Foe some stupid reason, I thought the game was at 4pm. Was on my way out of town for my regular table tennis session, so I was lucky I happened to have the car radio already set to Buffalo sports radio where they talked about the game time on my way down. Immediate veering off the highway to find a liquor store and a Dollarama for some chips on the way home.
  19. I'm amazed he gained 5 yards behind a 2nd/3rd string O-line against starters, nevermind 27 yards. Give him a break.
  20. I've once had the pleasure of traveling to Montreal for a convention, where I had an amazing smoked meat poutine from a place famous for their meat.
  21. For his team (Saskatchewan Roughriders), probably the closest thing is their partnership with A&W. Their poutine isn't that bad. Western Pizza is also a partner and has poutine on their menu, but they use mozzarella cheese and not cheese curds, so they don't count. If going by where they were playing (Edmonton Elks), the closest thing is their partnership with Tim Hortons. Their poutines use cheese curds, but are made with potato wedges instead of fries, so up to you if that counts. The CFL itself doesn't list their partners/sponsors on their website like the individual teams do. If needed, I could contact the office of Owen Welsh, Senior Director of Corporate Sponsorships in the morning if only for the laugh. Yes, I am Canadian, a fan of poutine (Swiss Chalet makes a great approximation of one with their chicken and Chalet Sauce instead of gravy), and a research nerd.
  22. Just heard on the radio that several Chiefs had to end practice early, including I think Hardmon being carted off with an apparent knee injury.
  23. When we went to the game against Carolina last year, we just got to lot 4 at 9am and got a spot right on the street literally directly across from the stadium entrance. Great since I had to bring my crutches. I didn't realize Hammer's Lot (that I've actually never checked out) was just on the other side of the camper lot with walking distance even for me. I always stupidly assumed it was in some far off place that would be too much of a hike for me. I'll be going to the week 5 Steelers game, so I'll have to check out the Hammer shenanigans at least once then. Thanks for the map.
  24. WotAGuy's Crap Oninions. Anticipate reviews will be poor, with comments like "WotAGuy's Crap Opinions aren't worth wiping my arse with!" This will likely be due to the typical quality of this type of "quick buck" branding's products, not the actual quality of his opinions. WotAGuy's reputation plummets as a result.
  25. A 6th is not "lol" for someone who hasn't performed, it's better than cutting him. But yeah as for Haack, he had one of the lowest net punt averages last year (a really good offense probably didn't help on that front), so I don't see teams lining up to trade for him. You can get at least something for a mediocre player if they are at a position of desperate need, but mediocre punters are not desperately needed when a street signing will often do.
