If anyone still thinks we drafted the wrong QB

.potentially?...yes?...definitely?....not yet.....Mayfield showed more with a better supporting cast, but Allen did his damnedest to put the club squarely on his shoulders....as McBeane's work in progress continues to provide a significantly better supporting cast, then we can begin comparatives on a more level playing field IMO...stay tuned....... -
......yup bud.......don't think Jack was a grandpa in 1968.......

..DEAD ON bro....won't discount Eli's two rings......but he's either dead on or dead off, with no "steady Eddie in the middle"...HOF?...nope....Ben's last ring was 2009 and not much thereafter....and I get the impression (strictly opinion) that it's everybody else's fault.....Rosen?......see him throwing six yard outs from his hi-chair and pounding on the tray blaming everybody else for the incompletions....he's the next RG II 1/8......."ME" pressers when it's a "W" and teammates under the bus for every "L".....sure as hell we got the RIGHT JOSH IMO....... -

...no way in hell for the "experts" to measure what's inside a kid's head 'n heart once he cashes that first big check....is it "cash at last" or the game first?.....thats before we get to minor injuries that nag on but not disclosed, unknown health ailments that docs never caught, etc....'how can you predict what a kid will do thousands of miles away from home with an overloaded wallet?....are they financially grounded like a Gronk who has yet to spend a dime of his $50+mil in NFL earnings...or the next Ko Simpson "I'm am a millionaire yap" when he got his butt in a ringer.....Vince Young blew through $26 mil......highly vulnerable at a young age with loads of loot.....then we get into the " 'Roids Road to the NFL" and how the body breaks down shortly after arrival...one of my favorite Kiper lines was about Tony Mandarich, "a behemoth....a man among boyz....can't miss HOF'er..."......his "juice" was not Minute Maid.....far too many variables for them to be right and it is NOT 80% IMO......

...first and foremost, humility and respect for the sport (some mighty titans have paved the way)....somebody posted here about his well grounded upbringing which was blue collar eloquent.....kid respects his team and the fans......he is the epitome of "no guts no glory...no bawls no blue chips" probably to a fault....needs to be our long term franchise guy versus a quick exit on a gurney...kudos to McBeane for surrounding him with protection and weapons so far (10 picks and more FA $$ available), which should starch the shorts of the "Fire McBeane Now" gang.....as if I care...up to this point, we sure as hell seem better off with McBeane/McDermott versus 17 years of "F Troop" running the show.....as they say in Mizzou, "show me " once the 2019 green flag is waved...stay tuned...... -

...NICELY done bud...certainly is painful, ignorant and uninformed to cast the Pegulas as "clueless owners"....pony up $1.4 billion to field a loser?......I'd bet McBeane's staff of 17+ with many NFL personnel execs from around the league, is a $5+ mil payroll all out of Terry's check book.....$20 mil for the Bills facility, $180 mil for Harbor Center, etc...you know the rest...sometimes there is no need to advertise one's ignorance by posting drivel from under the safety of their Fisher Price desk.....we can already anticipate who will "chime in"....sad.................. -

....didn't this clown plant the seed with his hissy fit about where he was drafted?....a real "team guy" to lay it on the line for.....sorry but in my "humble opinion", Putz Boy has that "Richie Rich Kid" entitlement stench......welcome to the REAL world.......respect is EARNED and NOT a right.. sure as hell glad we got "one of the mistakes"..... A "pissed" Josh Rosen delivered the best quote of the 2018 NFL Draft By Alex Myers April 27, 2018 One of the most polarizing figures entering the 2018 NFL Draft, the UCLA product probably won as many fans as he lost when he was asked about slipping to the 10th pick and he gave some brutally honest answers. Rosen told reporters he was "pissed" and "really angry" he wasn't chosen in the top 3, and then delivered this gem that we'll have to hear about for the next 15 years if he actually turns into a great player. "There were nine mistakes ahead of me." -

...agree....closest he'll ever come is an "arrest process" IMO....too bad........ -
...met Jack at the 1968 US Open in Roch-Cha-Cha....as cordial and engaging as you could imagine...my late father was a pharmacist as was Jack's dad.......my dad said "if you're game ever goes bad, you can always go into pharmacy".....a hearty LMAO from Jack and "not a chance"...still have his autograph from 51 years ago...Trevino won by 4 launching his stardom.....Weiskopf was having hissy fits and scuffing the tee box....temper temper Tommy......a good friend of mine (he's a 2) played in a Pro-Am with Norman in Florida and spoke highly of him.....he also played Augusta with Goodell and some other NFL dignitaries....Roger arranged for lodging in Butler's Cabin....then played his course in Florida with cigar chompin' Michael Jordan....said he is no where near a 3 as he claims...

By WBAY Staff | Posted: Wed 10:04 PM, Jan 09, 2019 GREEN BAY, Wis. (WBAY) -- Green Bay Packers legend Bart Starr is celebrating his 85th birthday. Starr was born Jan. 9, 1934, in Montgomery, Alabama. On this milestone day for No. 15, Action 2 News talked with Starr's son, Bart Starr Jr. The Hall of Fame quarterback is making tremendous strides after some serious health issues. "Given all he's been through, the fact that we're here talking about him having that milestone makes us full of gratitude," says Bart Starr Jr. "And we had an early celebration at his favorite Mexican restaurant on Saturday, and then we're going to have a little follow up one with some cake and a few things later today, so we're going to celebrate long and hard." Starr has had some health set backs in recent years. In 2014, he suffered two strokes and a heart attack. His recovery has included stem cell treatment and working with a trainer. "He's begun to recall some things that might seem mundane to most individuals but he was not able to remember up until maybe three or six months ago," Starr says. "That just fills our hearts with joy to know that he was able to have the kind of year that we hoped he would but were not sure that he would." Three times a week -- including Wednesday on his birthday -- Starr is in the gym working on his balance and motor skills. Bart Jr. says simple daily tasks the strokes had taken away he's doing again.
