...certainly is pretty sure of himself, I'd day..... Dave Gettleman: I like my resume so far Posted by Josh Alper on April 21, 2019, 9:46 AM EDT Giants General Manager Dave Gettleman made the decisions to trade wide receiver Odell Beckham and not hold onto safety Landon Collins this offseason. He’s heard the criticism of those moves and he’s heard doubts about his overall plan to build the team since he was hired in late 2017. It’s fair to say that Gettleman doesn’t think much of voices on the “outside looking in.” Gettleman said he’s never seen a team win the Super Bowl with “a culture problem” and said that the Giants no longer have one as they head into the 2019 season. He said he’s been “intentional” with every move he’s made and pointed to his history as reason to believe he knows what he’s doing. https://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2019/04/21/dave-gettleman-i-like-my-resume-so-far/

...everything turned out okay for Star.....hope for the same with this lad............... Top prospect Star Lotulelei gets positive news on heart By Kevin Patra NFL.com Published: April 2, 2013 at 05:38 a.m. Updated: April 2, 2013 at 03:27 p.m. Concerns over Utah defensive lineman Star Lotulelei's health are beginning to be put to rest as the 2013 NFL Draft approaches. A recent MRI showed "no evidence of dysfunction" with the defensive lineman's heart, which functioned "consistently with that of highly trained athletes" said Utah team physician Dave Petron, according to The Salt Lake Tribune. Lotulelei, who was projected at No. 1 overall previously, put a scare into NFL personnel when an echocardiogram administered at the NFL Scouting Combine in February revealed his left ventricle was operating at just 44 percent, compared to the normal range of 55 percent to 70 percent. The improvement in Lotulelei's condition in a test administered shortly after the combine led most to believe the abnormality might have been caused by a virus, according to the Tribune. The most recent news buoys that belief.

...if he did not clean up his dumb penalties and did not step up his game, I'd be hesitant....but he has done so on BOTH accounts, so how do you NOT reward him?.....will readily admit I'm probably "not the brightest bulb in the lighting store", but aren't their instances where you work hard to keep you own versus thinking the "grass MUST be greener on the other side"?......perhaps..... -
..agree BOE....hate these hot shots bursting on the scene with the "ME" attitude and no humility or respect for the game...look at the titans who paved the way for a pittance compared to today's exorbitant salaries, MANY of which have gold jackets.....I'm probably an old school, crustacean traditionalist, but these diaper dandies with no respect, threatening to overturn their hi-chairs for mo money stink....respect is earned and NOT commanded.........

CERTAINLY appreciate your kind thoughts and support...Happy Easter friend.....

....good assessment bud....looks like 'Hawks are up against it....not even sure if his "calling card" fits McDermott's process.....FWIW, not sure if I se McBeane investing "draft capital and $20 mil/yr" in one player....BTW, what do you think about a two year extension for Hughes in the mid-teens annually?.....he has cleaned up his penalties and has stepped up his game...the "stat rats" are against it solely based on sack stats which is not sequitur IMO....guy has value....
