  1. ..da Fuhrer got his hand slapped for criticizing those not in attendance.......... Report: NFL warns Tom Coughlin about voluntary workouts comment Posted by Josh Alper on April 24, 2019, 1:33 PM EDT Jaguars executive vice president of football operations Tom Coughlin has reportedly heard from the NFL about last week’s comments regarding players missing voluntary offseason workouts. Cornerback Jalen Ramsey and linebacker Telvin Smith have been absent and Coughlin said that they should be in attendance. That drew responses from Ramsey, Ramsey’s agent and the NFLPA.
  2. ...any idea when the "TOM DONOHOE WAS TURRIBLE" thread is supposed to start?.......
  3. ..STILL sounds like he hasn't made your Christmas list yet...............
  4. ...UDFA with ONE season of < 30 FG's (had 29) over 8 years....90.1% as well....that works........
  5. ...point was equating salary to district size vs private sector company size...CERTAINLY would not argue lack of accountability point......one year, I served on my District's Budget Advisory Committee....for that particular year, I believe the budget was $71 million......after all of the "untouchable items" were removed from the discussion and if memory serves me, we were to evaluate what savings could be available from the remaining $250,000 of the budget that was "subject to change".....HUGE waste of time....and if the budget did not pass, District could enact the Contingency Budget which was MORE than the one voted on!....makes perfect sense, right??.........
  6. ....probably been under my rock too long, but I'm STILL not sure what kind of horsepower Whaley had as far as GM.......was he actually the final decision maker as far as personnel or more of a scout type as in "go find us this guy"?.....in current terms, do you see him on par with McBeane's apparent horsepower or less?...and as far as Mahomes, I'd bet some of the posting pundits saying NO to Patrick because he was coming from the leper like Air Raid and "no Air Raid QB EVER makes it in the NFL" have changed camps because of his year 2 success.....year 3 will be interesting if he performs similarly (cannot expect same as year 2 was extraordinary) or if opposing DC's now have an answer...
  7. ...good assessment........never been a fan of the "addition by subtraction" equation especially when the subtraction is a KNOWN quantity versus the addition being a virtual KNOWN in the pro ranks...remember the "Trade Tre Gang"??.......SMH........
  8. ...FWIW, seems to be that TE spot is 2nd most neglected right behind QB spot (pre Josh) in this club's lore......Pete, Jay R and probably Campbell were the last good ones.....some day we need to get a top flight TE so we can smoke the opposition like they have smoked us for YEARS......
  9. ...good question Doc....do not recall seeing anything about him showing......
  10. ...why not?.....can always blame Whaley, right???............
  11. ...would you expect anything less from this clown?.........
  12. ..maybe he'd be open to signing one day deal and retiring as a Bill..............
  13. ...nice assessment and I agree....plenty of FA work has happened for OL......so DT/LB/Edge makes sense early......thanks...
  14. .....here is Bleacher Report's Tanier pick at #9.....yes?...no?...maybe?........ So, let's skip the usual roasting of the Bills and give them Jawaan Taylor, who's arguably the best offensive lineman in this class (there's no real consensus) and a fit for their run-heavy offense. The Bills added Ty Nsekhe and LaAdrian Waddle in free agency, but both are better stopgap starters and multiposition backups than long-term solutions at tackle.
  15. ,,,,good job bud.....and I'd bet every Super penny was well earned when comparing district budget to private CEO running similar size private company...so one has to ignore the ignorant and misinformed....sure school taxes are regressive...I'm 66 and still paying school taxes despite my kids being out of the system for 24 years...educators/teachers fault?...seriously??...
  16. ....whoa Promo!.....NFLN's Terrell Davis told us"how fortunate AB was going to Raiders with Carr" versus "avoiding a potentially disastrous QB situation in Bflo".....no way in hell he could be wrong.....thought I heard Derek and David were getting measured for gold jackets together....thinkin' maybe Allen's uni reads "DJ" as in "Disastrous Josh"...go figure.....
  17. ...do we at any point get over the "Whaley crap" who is long gone?.....let's re-visit Donohoe's Williams pick at #4 in 2002...or better yet #1 pick Cousineau in '79 who went North to CFL...SMH.......
  18. ...these are well educated people doing their jobs and the route cause of disdain is jealousy....."you are what you want to make yourself out to be" is my mantra....today equals gimme ...gimme.....for nothin'..........
  19. ...for my school district, the annual budget is $127 mil.....thus the superintendent getting paid $251+ is certainly reasonable if he was running a $127 million dollar company in the private sector.....for years here, they made it a point to publish salaries and nylons got knotted big time....but the majority of the ten cent yappers would never equate budget to private sector CEO....that's the same gang waiting for the EBT card re-load, installing urinal cakes at Mickey D's, and using the "Express Dentistry Line" at Walmart for "15 teeth or less"...go figure......
  20. ....RG II 1/8's old man "take two"?...he was a meddling prize..........
  21. ...thanks for the assessment.....didn't really follow all of the details leading up to the Clark decision......uncertainty of signing tender and the Wilson booty?...
  22. ....here's the District's Superintendent salary for my town in Roch-Cha-Cha area....PLUS fringes............ approx. 5,000 students: #2 Kenneth J. Graham Jr. - $251,756.67 Monroe County Start date: 2/4/1988 ...our Monroe County ranks #2 in NYS.............. #2 Monroe County #1 Susan K. Allen - $282,760.00 East Irondequoit Central School District Start date: 1/26/1987 #2 Kenneth J. Graham Jr. - $251,756.67 Rush-Henrietta Central School District Start date: 2/4/1988 #3 Barbara A. Deane - $240,533.62 Rochester City School District Start date: 8/31/1983
