  1. ....strictly opinion, but I doubt Lawson comes close to UFA offers in the range of $9-$11 mil/yr.....then again, there IS stupid money out there....so maybe he explores the UFA market, ends up in "Dry Gulch" and comes knocking at McBeane's door for a backup deal....
  2. ...why not?...cleaned up the dumb penalties and has upped his game.....denial from TBD "stat rats" forthcoming because he doesn't have a dozen sacks in his role.....think two years is reasonable in the mid teens per year?.........
  3. ...so then when "Lebron" runs routes, do we say he's "traveling" and get hit with a 15 yarder?....just askin'.....
  4. ..know EXACTLY what you meant....did not want to add fuel to the fire......made a feeble attempt to get thread back on track, but not sure why the hell I bothered....once the "pillow fight in the playpen" starts, forget it..........
  5. ...but the good news is that NO draft pick has yet to earn the "TBD Bust" label.....YET.............
  6. ...it's one guy's opinion.....was there TOTAL alignment here behind Oliver in ALL of the posted TBD mocks?.....nope......a multitude of assessments whether yes, no or maybe at 9, trading up, trading down, etc...Jesus.....
  7. ...EXACTLY....perhaps told him to test the FA waters (those waters will NOT yield $10+ mil/ys) and then come talk to OBD about a possible return.....no sense in burning bridges if he is serviceable at a reasonable number..........
  8. ...read an article where McBeane said the Duke Williams signing reduced the top priority/high draft pick necessity in 2019 Draft....must have pretty high expectations....interesting....
  9. ...better type faster...we only have "10 years left before THE END".............
  10. ...remember the days of 17 rounds back in the 70's...."and with the 441st pick in the 17th round of the 1971 NFL Draft, the Baltimore Colts select Don "The Human Bowling Ball" Nottingham, RB from Kent State".......
  11. ...good stuff...Dick Weber...Carmen Salvino...Don Carter...Ray Bluth.....the old gang......BTW, here's a link to the latest style bowling center that opened in Rochester.....hardly anything like the old days.....and it is going like gangbusters............. https://radio-social.com/
  12. Brandon Beane: Bills aren’t in on or out on Ziggy Ansah Posted by Josh Alper on April 29, 2019, 6:13 PM EDT Bills General Manager Brandon Beane was asked about Ansah during an appearance on WGR 550 on Monday and said that the team has remained in touch with his agent since their visit. Beane said the Bills “aren’t in on him or out on him” at the moment.
  13. ...looks like the 'Bama Connection is replacing the Carolina Connection.....
  14. .....exactly.....what would be the benefit according to Barnwell as far as doing something in October?....
  15. ...read an article where McBeane said the Duke Williams signing reduced the top priority/high draft pick necessity in 2019 Draft....must have pretty high expectations....interesting....
  16. ....looks like Barnwell differs............. Barnwell: Every NFL team's most likely candidate for post-draft trade or cut Bill BarnwellESPN Staff Writer AFC EAST Buffalo Bills LeSean McCoy, RB http://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/26632732/barnwell-every-nfl-team-most-likely-candidate-post-draft-trade-cut
  17. ...two decades and you're STILL hanging around....must be that masochistic leather , whips and chain deal...
  18. ...lost a major investor...maybe the guy that put up $250 mil for the AAF is ripe.....anybody have Bernie Madoff on speed dial??.........
  19. ...for a little fun and games...if it annoys you, why the hell click on the thread?...SMH.......... ...Singeltary = "Beep Beep"...three yards and a cloud of dust....
  20. ...Buddy started hibernatin' in November when our season was "officially over" and set his alarm clock for 9AM on draft day......wanted to make sure he was "well rested"..
  21. ...sadly Augie, I'd bet in some cases the money is primary and the degree is secondary if even that.....the pomp, glitz & glitter of collegiate ball which puts butts in the seats, keeps mega boosters happy happy and leads to mega millions in bowl games trumps the athlete's training for true life skills...graduate with a degree on two sheets of Charmin', and if you're lucky enough to sign any type of NFL contract, best you can do is an "X"......NCAA version of a puppy mill...sad stuff......
  22. .....nicely done Yolo...thanks for sharing.....probably more of my "senior moment" yap, but it would NOT surprise me one bit if the Plan-A-Holic McBeane already has an extensive chart laid out for 2020....probably includes option years, expiring one year deals, Bflo UFA's and possible league wide UFA's, potential/probable draftees, as well as many scenarios where Bflo may draft....think I'm liking this "in good hands" from the Allstate guy...stay tuned.....
