Bills secondary left out of top-tier mention
OldTimeAFLGuy replied to HOUSE's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
...loathe regurgitating that bloviator who cost this club two years of development...TRIVIA QUESTION: "who was the LAST NFL club to employ Wrecks Ryan in ANY coaching position?"....ad nauseam.........a major stain on this franchise....BUT....we are getting through it.............. -
Why are the Browns the sexy pick?
OldTimeAFLGuy replied to The Red King's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
...and how the hell could Augie UNDERESTIMATE "Rebate Jimmy"?.....plenty of talent and egos for a greenhorn HC to try and control...stay tuned....... -

...McBeane and his gang have done one helluva job so far (yes on paper) assembling some formidable talent IMO..... -

AARP discount helps the cap, so why not?..... -
...Whaley was a terrible public speaker.......need to be an extrovert to be successful.....as far as Wrecks, I can share that close friends of mine got a text from Brandon after the hire asking, "so what do you think?"......he was certainly taking credit for it and probably overrode Whaley.....if I remember, season tix topped 60,000 with the hire.....thus it was a Brandon marketing ploy that he sold to the Pegulas and had NOTHING to do with this azzclown's abilities as a HC.....if not, why was his tenure short lived while Pegula ate MEGAbucks contractually?....

...GREAT find and thanks for sharing...too many of these good deeds go unnoticed or unannounced......these guys are not seeking publicity.....this kid, Josh, Ed Oliver, etc are great example of the character types McBeane/McDermott want.......and it does NOT mean choir boys.....Duke had some scrapes and hiccups along the way, but assume he demonstrated so far (as in getting signed) that he has atoned and refocused....NOTHING wrong with that IMO.... -

....half time padlocks on port-a-pottys to to discourage beer consumption in the lots......uh oh............... -
...exactly DEAD WRONG about me bud...I have followed the Bills since 1962 with them 70 miles west of Rochester......a diehard fan of them solely?.....not a diehard fan of ANY nor of any SOLELY...would I like to have them be successful as my first choice?..guilty as charged....if not, do I head for the Peace Bridge?....ain't happenin'....do I own a Bills jersey or other Bills memorabilia?...nope.....have a "Bills Man Cave"?.......nope...ever had season tix?...well nope AGAIN......Bills decals or license plates on my vehicles?...well, well nope AGAIN.....thus your perceived factual statements about me are baseless falsehoods...but then again, you think you know everything.....SMH....
-
..."716" poster who has a scouting background and is one helluva TBD resource, cites his suspect hands and fumble tendencies......not 100% sure, but I think he advocated that Tyree stay in school for another year.....I'd say it sounds like he is chained to the PS and if something happns to Josh or Bradley, McBeane is on the horn versus ANY call up ideas...
-
...good assessment and I agree.......grade is based on paper so far with the season being the true test...hence an INCOMPLETE.......regardless of what the "Fire McBeane...Fire McDermott Gang" says, NOT realistic to expect EVERY FA and draftee/UDFA to pan out 100% in 2019......BUT....expectations for a significant improvement?.....despite all of the newness including coaches, CERTAINLY IMO.....

Posted by Mike Florio on May 15, 2019, 5:03 PM EDT “This has nothing to do with Adam,” Jets CEO and chairman Christopher Johnson told reporters on Wednesday regarding the firing of G.M. Mike Maccagnan, via Manish Mehta of the New York Daily News. It has everything to do with Adam, who quickly emerges with the title of interim G.M. and who will be directly involved in hiring the next G.M. And who possibly will have final say over the football operations, whether in writing or implicitly. Intentional or not, it was a coup. And Gase won it. And Johnson either isn’t telling the truth about it or he’s genuinely oblivious to it. Regardless, the good news/bad news for Gase is that he’s now in charge. For better or worse. And if it’s not better, it will be worse for him, sooner than later.
