  4. ...just some quick random thoughts about the Peterman saga....... 1. Drafted in the 5th hoping to fulfill a life long dream in the NFL as a QB in some role; why root against a youngster chasing his dream? 2. Chuckie did say he was "THE most NFL QB I've seen in years". Then again, out of 67 QB's in that draft, Chuckie graded 66 with A+ and one got an A- only because he shot his grandmother. It IS Chuckie folks. 3. The SD start was Dennison's idea because he couldn't work with Tuhrod IMO. We all know the colossal results. 4. Peterman comes back and shines in OTA's and TC. McBeane anoints him the ready starter, cutting loose McCarron for a valuable (COUGH) 5th. Seriously? Peterman has made the quantum leap from a 5th to a bonafide starter making a vet like McCarron immediately expendable? McBeane falls flat on his face and pleads with Anderson to "come outta the mothballs". Hence a MAJOR gaffe. 5. With that MAJOR gaffe, it becomes apparent Peterman was thrust into the starting position WAAAAAY over his head, melting down with live ammo versus the "comfort" of OTA's and TC. "Live Ammo Confidence Level" is on par with EJ's. 6. It's Chuckie to the rescue. he'll either groom him as Carr's backup, duh Raiders surprise starter or Mark Davis' new barber. Please refer to item #2 in BOLD. ....YAWN...............
  5. ...Baltimore and Chcago are in the running for 2024 and 2025 if they build a wall and reduce drive bys by 4.67%......"Target" is a proposed sponsor.......... ,,,,any idea as to how to speed up the "process"??............

  10. ...if any Winslow should have CTE, it is Kellen Sr with the beating he took over the years...he was an absolute beast in the Jan, 2, 1982 OT playoff victory vs Miami, 41-38....on the verge of collapse.....game was dubbed "The Epic in Miami" and "The Game Nobody Should Have Lost".....and this punk sullied the Winslow name......SMH....
  11. ....good fit for LAST year though............
  12. Report: Browns have “inquired” about Gerald McCoy Posted by Josh Alper on May 22, 2019, 7:42 AM EDT Before the Buccaneers released defensive tackle Gerald McCoy this week, there were reports that the Browns had shown interest in bringing him to Cleveland. That interest has not waned since McCoy hit the open market. Mary Kay Cabot of Cleveland.com reports that the team has “inquired” about McCoy’s interest in joining the team for the 2019 season. https://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2019/05/22/report-browns-have-inquired-about-gerald-mccoy/
  13. ......sounds like money is a MAJOR hurdle................... Kyle Rudolph, Vikings are talking extension, but not making much progress Posted by Mike Florio on May 16, 2019, 11:21 PM EDT The talks between the Vikings and tight end Kyle Rudolph on a potential contract extension aren’t dead, but they currently aren’t going anywhere. Per a source with knowledge of the situation, the Vikings and Rudolph have not ended talks (contrary to a recent report that they have). However, the two sides aren’t making much progress. The Vikings, according to the source, have offered Rudolph a five-year extension, which would give Rudolph a new-money average among the highest paid tight ends in the league. That extension also would, presumably, reduce Rudolph’s current cap number of $7.625 million https://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2019/05/16/kyle-rudolph-vikings-are-talking-extension-but-not-making-much-progress/

  15. Sean McDermott on Jerry Hughes extension: Reward for doing things right Posted by Josh Alper on May 22, 2019, 8:10 AM EDT The Bills signed defensive end Jerry Hughes to a two-year extension on Tuesday and both he and head coach Sean McDermott discussed the agreement during press conferences later in the day. Hughes said he was excited to “get back to focusing on football and focusing on winning games” now that the contract situation has been squared away. The signing comes at a moment when the Bills don’t have a lot of long-term commitments to edge players and McDermott cited continuity as part of the reason why they wanted to get a deal done at this point. “There’s two things that work there. It’s the continuity and it’s also rewarding a young man who has done things right,” McDermott said at a press conference. “[General Manager] Brandon [Beane] has done a nice job of balancing the checkbook over the last couple of years. https://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2019/05/22/sean-mcdermott-on-jerry-hughes-extension-reward-for-doing-things-right/

  19. .....strictly my opinion, but I think Foster heeded McDermott's wake up call in 2018 and improved nicely.....at the same time, and again my opinion, think it is pretty evident that there is some serious WR competition in camp, perhaps where some legit WR talent is in the final 37 cuts.....can Foster afford to take ANYTHING for granted?......
