  1. ...with all Miami crime reduced to <1%, prosecutor has to spend his budget somewhere chasing the big fish......tax dollars well spent......
  2. ....Whaley is non-sequitur "water over the dam" and should be excluded from the comparison because there is none IMO.....he was NOT a bonafide GM wielding the same horsepower as McBeane does nor was his scout staff even remotely close to the exec level component McBeane has courtesy of Pegula's check book....Whaley inherited "complacent lifers" and he was more of a "personnel gopher", a/k/a "go find us this guy", etc......the days of "F Troop" have been replaced by the "A Team" and McBeane made the tough decisions he had to.....sure glad Pegula did not heed the "expert TBD advice" to "fire McBeane....fire McDermott.......fire the beerman" crap......
  3. ...damn good assessment bud.......some players were nowhere worth what they were being paid as far as their performance return.....so either live with the situation, letting "mediocrity and lethargy breed contempt" or painfully remove the tumors........and now the "cap is healed" post "tumor(s) surgery".......
  4. ...popcorn sales are up 61% in May so far...and it's getting even better............. Report: Candidates have concerns about taking Jets’ GM job Originally posted on Larry Brown Sports By Steve DelVecchio | Last updated 5/24/19 The New York Jets are in the process of searching for a new general manager, but they may have trouble attracting qualified candidates given all that has gone on with the team’s front office this offseason. ESPN’s Josina Anderson was told by an NFL source that executives are not interested in the Jets’ general manager job unless the team is willing to make a long-term commitment. The belief is that the current staff in place is not equipped to handle personnel decisions, but there’s concern over how much control the new GM is going to be given. https://www.yardbarker.com/nfl/articles/report_candidates_have_concerns_about_taking_jets_gm_job/s1_127_29165588
  5. Report: Gerald McCoy drawing interest from 10 teams, offers reaching $11 million a year Posted by Curtis Crabtree on May 24, 2019, 12:28 AM EDT Being released in May hasn’t seemingly limited the market for former Tampa Bay Buccaneers defensive tackle Gerald McCoy. According to Rick Stroud of the Tampa Bay Times, McCoy has drawn interest from 10 teams with offers coming in up to $11 million per season. The amount of interest has reportedly “overwhelmed” McCoy and he appreciates the decision by the Glazer family to release him when they did. https://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2019/05/24/report-gerald-mccoy-drawing-interest-from-10-teams-offers-reaching-11-million-a-year/
  6. ...you'd buy one and pocket the change PERIOD.....
  7. ...VERY concerned nobody has earned the "TBD Bust" moniker this late in.......are we witnessing "membership lethargy"?.....something ain't passin' the "smell test" here....
  8. ..Pegula's daughter approves of this message.......
  9. ...a very fair, all around assessment.............still PLENTY of time for additional roster changes, but nothing currently to panic about quite yet.....barely know the names of 90 in the barn let alone abilities with TE being the concern here.....
  10. ...isn't Rudolph and a contract extension impasse with the Vikes?.......he's due to make $7.275 mil this year, so it'a a safe bet he's looking for $9-10 mil/yr......so would you gve a pick for a one year rental or have a deal in principle in place when he arrives at OBD for those dollars or whatever you think is an acceptable deal?....a four year deal would bring him up to age 33....
  11. What happens to unsigned rookie if he gets injured in NFL minicamp? Does he get paid? Posted May 11, 2018 By Ryan Dunleavy | NJ Advance Media for NJ.com So why would a rookie step on the field for his first NFL practice without first signing a contract? It's called the "rookie participation agreement," and it essentially assures a draft pick injured during minicamps, offseason workouts or the rookie development program will receive the same contract he would have if healthy, one longtime NFLPA-certified agent explained to NJ Advance Media.
  12. ..thanks bud...so my "find" tells us nothing......but why show for OTA's if you're not under contract and suffer a serious injury?....what is your recourse?............
  13. ....found this, but only on one site (overthecap.com).............. Contract History Team Contract Type Status Year Signed Yrs Total APY Guarantees Amount Earned % Earned Effective APY Bills Drafted Active 2019 4 $3,356,784 $839,196 $0 $0 0.0% $0
  14. ...we're ALL good...really like your stuff.....AND...the check is in the mail...............
  15. Courtney Cronin ESPN Staff Writer 5/22/19 11:53AM "Rudolph, 29, has said he's "too young" to take a pay cut, and it doesn't appear the Vikings have asked. During the first week of voluntary OTAs, which Rudolph is attending, he confirmed a report by Pro Football Talk that claimed the Vikings offered him a five-year extension. The report said the deal would give Rudolph “a new-money average among the highest-paid tight ends in the league" and is expected to lower his cap hit this season. "
  16. ...you know my friend, sometimes this place gets so wrapped up in fits of anger and back 'n forth diatribes, I try to interject a bit of humor to lighten things up... after all, it IS a DAMN game and MB.....if my style to interject some humor to unwind tight nylons or a moment to clear sand out of one's jockey shorts is not welcome, tell me and I'll be gone easily with no harm no foul....your call..........
  17. ...LOL...cute story (perhaps)......when my son was a little tyke, the household followed Buffalo and "My-Ami (a/k/a Miami)......and my son would ask on game day, "Dad is YOUR-Ami winning?"......he still is a Fins' fan 30 years later.....
  18. ...with this being a PG-13 site, we just cannot go into your personal failures......however....you are in the TBD prayers.......
  19. ..."Senior Moments Rule"......IF...I remember correctly.......
  20. ...so my "probably dumb question" would be is how the hell does an astute coaching staff STILL let him use that play despite multiple failures on "the out"?....are we paying coaches for the "Oh Well Complacency" mode?.....guess I missed the "Pennington Memo".............
