  1. ...sorry, not happenin'......it's taken a helluva lot to assemble 90 strong going into OTA's and TC and rest assured, there WILL be some football talent in those 37 cuts......when the hell is the last time going back to the "drought" that we potentially had personnel conundrums on the POSITIVE side?....there is a ton of newness from personnel down to positional coaches.......significant improvement over 6-10 as a reasonable expectation?...of course.......at the same time, there are a multitude of variables where 9-7 gets in as WC or misses, or even 10-6 snares a WC spot.....care to tell me that when Brady went out in 2008 and Cassel led the Pats to 11-5 that you predicted they would MISS the playoffs?....yup, "HE'S DONE"..... would be great so we can start all over again...go figure.....
  2. ...disagree with "by a mile"......plenty of new toys to sort out and work with....."significant improvement in the offense" is a reasonable expectation.....
  3. ....as Walt Garrison would say, "just a 'lil pinch between your cheek and gum"........
  4. ...he did stay at a Holiday Inn Express last night............
  5. Ortiz may have suffered organ damage from shooting Travis Andersen-Boston Globe 2 hrs ago Doctors who treated retired Red Sox slugger David Ortiz after he was shot Sunday night in Santo Domingo had to remove part of his intestines, colon, gall bladder, and liver, according to published reports. The outlet Diaro Libre, citing a representative for Ortiz, provided the details on the life-saving measures taken by doctors at the Abel Gonzalez clinic. http://www.msn.com/en-us/sports/mlb/ortiz-may-have-suffered-organ-damage-from-shooting/ar-AACFnC3?li=BBnb7Kz
  6. ...."we're going" + "truck wrap"= painful memories of Wrecks......sorry for confusion....
  7. ...FAR more beneficial IMO to follow the critical analyses of former NFL QB's still well connected to the game (could care less about their career stats) whether good, bad or indifferent.......Palmer, Simms, Dilfer, etc all provide pros, cons, and eventual opinions after weighing both as far as a QB prospect....what background does a urinalist have that is objective and unfettered from the safety of his under desk?....
  8. ..wasn't Brees a wounded (shoulder) duck when SD let him walk?.....appears he has somewhat managed to recover......so far.....
  9. ..hope "the wrap" peels off your truck at Delta Sonic.....
  10. ...surreal versus real......us poor working slobs trying to equate THE ideal job opportunity to (HOPEFULLY) come along in our careers, vaunting us to another level versus these kids getting millions+ opportunities as 20 somethings right out of the gate...AND....choosing to blow it...guess I missed the memo.....
  11. ...Moulds made his own bed and stayed on......then when he left , he burned every damn bridge outta town.....Jesus, Ralph flew in to mitigate the Moulds/Moo hissy fit for his pampered pet....lost ALL respect for him when his "publicist ( seriously ? WTF?)" said, "Eric is very upset that his consecutive catch string record was broken (nothing thrown to him that day)"....Diva 101.....
  12. well where was HIS bow?......coulda been gift wrapped??........
  13. ...hard to quantify "pivotal" with all of the newness from personnel to coaching moves....is the MINIMAL achievement 10-6 with a WC spot or does the "TBD Fire Everyone Gang" blossom?.....what if 9-7 with a near miss on the WC spot, Josh is in the top ten for QB's, as are the offense and defense, but we missed (barely)?....woeful failure?...blew "THE PIVOTAL definition"?......you're an astute football guy.....what are your assessments as far as 2019 outcomes and grades for various realistic scenarios?....
  14. .....good call 716....can easily see why those characteristics fit " the process".....we're focusing on the talent within the 90 players (final 37 cuts see some good ones go), but I think there is some significant talent with changes on the coaching staff as well.....
  15. ...good assessment...hard to remember the last time we were faced with talent conundrums......during the "drought", we were either shoppin' at K-Mart for "blue light specials" or signing the homeless guys at Interstate exits...SMH.........
  16. ...and it's hard to tell exactly what his role is today....wonder if this is still accurate..... Bills promote Overdorf to senior VP in minor restructuring Associated Press Published: Jan. 31, 2008 at 11:34 a.m. Updated: July 26, 2012 at 08:17 p.m. ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. -- Jim Overdorf was promoted to Buffalo Bills senior vice president of football administration, giving him control over contract negotiations and salary cap decisions. The move announced Thursday was part of a minor front office restructuring that follows Russ Brandon's promotion to chief operating officer. Brandon's promotion came after the Bills elected not to fill the general manager's role after Marv Levy stepped down at the end of the season. For Overdorf, the promotion means he formally becomes the team's top executive in day-to-day football matters, answering to Brandon and Bills owner Ralph Wilson. Overdorf is entering his 23rd season with the team and has handled contract talks for most of this decade.
  17. ...nice BOE...you just pissed off everybody on Guam for failing to recognize them as a sports hot bed.....SMH.......
