...understand and appreciate what you're saying....but during the "drought", the landscape was littered with "14-2, 13-3-12-4,11-5, we're going...the schneid is over...I feel it etc" prognostications and WE al PAINFULLY know where they ended up...Greenspan called it "irrational exuberance" and rightfully so to end "the pain"...and the "F Troop Gang" of unqualified, misplaced, fumblin', mumblin', stumblin' etc NON-football people placed in charged is the root cause of "the drought" IMO...despie the TBD naysayers, McBeane/McDermott/McDaboll or our "Mc Trio" seem to have a damn good handle today and tomorrow....let's see how it unfolds......I can always defrost my crow that's in the freezer....

...interestingly, in the OBD upheaval after Donohoe was canned and Marv came outta the mothballs "re-tired", Ralphy offered Cowher 10 mil/yr as HC ...a buddy of mine was close friends with Brandon and saw the "back and forth texts" between Cowher and Brandon...Bill's late wife wanted no part of living in Bflo (just like Sabres and Drury's wife)...besides when Carolina fired Fox, Bill could have had the HC job right in his own NC back yard...he did though recommend Gailey (I think) to OBD.....

...so Pegula never heeded the expert advice of the TBD "Fire McBeane...Fire McDermott Gang" after all?...wow.....McDermott came here as a ROOKIE HC but he seems to have had a very well defined plan in mind.....organized, focusing on fixing the abysmal culture and the types of players who fit "his mold" that he wanted to coach.....what the hell is wrong with THAT?....enter McBeane, starting his carer as an unpaid intern in 1998 and also arriving on the scene as a ROOKIE GM.....and they seem to be the perfect fit IMO.....and neither wavered from "The Plan".....Pegula gave McBeane the checkbook to hire a formidable staff of 17+ and he did so.....anybody care to say this is not the best gang since the Polian era?..oh wait, I'm a "premature homer (my azz)"....we could always have an "F Troop Reunion" and bring back the likes of Brandon, Whaley, Wrecks, Jauron, etc if you prefer......always will be the DSWS or "Daily Soggy Wheaties Syndrome" Gang here no matter what these guys do...I'd bet your have NO IDEA (COUGH) who I could be talking about here, right??.....

..despite Cowher saying, "the Bills are the ONLY team tin the AFCE that can challenge the Pats", I prefer one game at a time...with al of the recent doings in the AFC, fourth seed (top WC spot) is not too bad......NINE new starters on offense with Josh and Dawkins the only returnees?...damn right I'd take it...........
