  1. ...maybe this will discourage him............. LaVar Arrington: Root of the issue in Washington is ownership Posted by Michael David Smith on October 9, 2019, 5:54 AM EDT Washington has fired another coach in Jay Gruden, but one former player says the problem with the team is that you can’t fire the owner. LaVar Arrington, a linebacker who was selected by Washington with the second overall pick in 2000, played there six years and later covered the team as a broadcaster, said on FS1 that Dan Snyder is to blame. “The root of the issue is ownership,” Arrington said. Arrington said the culture in Washington breeds players who resent Snyder. https://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2019/10/09/lavar-arrington-root-of-the-issue-in-washington-is-ownership/

  5. ...for YEARS we've been smoked by TE plays in the seam........opposition looked at "third and long" as "third and nothin' " against us.....1st down(s)........Sweeney and Knox have to potential to be akin to "Pete and Keith"....so why not the seam?.....
  6. ....add in new OL Coach and new QB Coach....plus Daboll getting acclimated to his shiny new toys....plenty of "newness" IMO......
  7. probably 22 "million" reasons why it would not happen..........
  8. ...WORST part about that is Genome Smith was Buddy's 1st choice......they flew down to interview him and work him out.....the consensus on the plane ride home was, "um..no thanks"....EJ was their 2nd fiddle......BOTH were missing Round 1 "strings" PERIOD.....astonishingly, Smith is STILL NFL employed...SMH......
  9. ...thought Wade was #11 International Extra NOT available for call up...so aren't there nine then?.............
  10. ...OMG!....Allen praise from Da Biscuit?........taking three Excedrin with a pint of Bourbon and laying down...my evening is upside down with this "breaking news"........I may call 911 to check on you..........
  11. ...if Perry is a ST guy, would you want him to replace Duke or are you still comfortable with Duke on ST's as well?....what's the injury risk if he is to become a Josh "go to guy"?......

  15. ...ouch!........that is painful......strictly my opinion, but don't like these clowns who are brash, bold and balsy after one season....RG II 1/8 comes to mind as well as Kaep......RG "W" presser was about ME...."L" was teammates under the bus....throw in annoying Daddy RG needing to be in Snyder's ear....Kaep hit the limelight too soon and became all about tats 'n poses versus what the hell he was getting paid for....Josh Allen is my type of kid....humble, mindful, respectful of the game and those who paved his was to mega paydays.....kid just works his tail off to get better with no limelight or spotlight necessary.....quote was, "this is OUR team and OUR family"........can't ask for anything more.....imagine Josh in a Scam Newton "Prince Look-A-Like presser"?.......
  16. we'll never know, but wondered if he sensed the chemistry/confidence was not there with Josh and figured his days were numbered.......hope Raiders pan out for the kid.....
  17. ...him and his "gang of 17" search 24/7/365 for talent.........Buddy started hibernatin' in mid-November when OUR season was over and set his alarm for 9AM on Draft Day.......

  19. ....not surprising.......... Richard Sherman annoyed at Baker Mayfield’s handshake snub Posted by Darin Gantt on October 8, 2019, 6:12 AM EDT Richard Sherman was annoyed with Baker Mayfield before the game even started. In fact, it was the Browns quarterback’s refusal to shake hands during the pregame coin toss that had the 49ers corner on edge. “What’s amazing, and annoying, was him not shaking hands at the beginning,” Sherman told Mike Silver of NFL.com. “That’s some college s—. It’s ridiculous. We’re all trying to get psyched up, but shaking hands with your opponent — that’s NFL etiquette. And when you pull bush league stuff, that’s disrespectful to the game. And believe me, that’s gonna get us fired up.” Apparently it did, as Sherman picked off Mayfield two minutes into the game. Sherman wasn’t the only one to take a shot at Mayfield on a miserable night, as Nick Bosa clowned his college-era flag-waving celebration. Sherman said it was particularly offensive for a young player to not participate in the perfunctory ritual. https://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2019/10/08/richard-sherman-annoyed-at-baker-mayfields-handshake-snub/
  20. ...good memory!.....Moo's 2004 club sat at 9-6 needing to beat the Steelers' third string at Pittsburgh....win and we're in, ending the schneid.......and we fell flat to end up at 9-7 followed by 5-11 disaster in 2005..... https://buffalowdown.com/2011/04/20/chronicles-of-failure-january-2-2005-steelers-29-bills-24/
  21. ...GREAT assessment......it has been a long, LONG time coming................
  22. ...kid had a good collegiate career even if at a lower level.....160 catches in a season says something......he made some mistakes, appeared to have atoned for them and came back working towards his craft......unfortunately it did not work out.....NOTHING wrong with "saying good luck in Oakland and hope it works out".....absolutely loathe hating on these kids when they don't work out......
