....a fair assessment......the speed and complexity of the game continues to increase as do new rules and/or changes.......I'd be in favor of off season officiating TC and OTA's.....plenty of classroom film study to review prior season's major gaffes, film as to the intent of certain rule(s) as well as "live" on field drills...not sure if "full time" officials or adding to the crew would help.....

If Foster Starts Rolling This Team Is Beyond Dangerous
OldTimeAFLGuy replied to H2o's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
....Singeltary and Foster DO have some after burners.....work Knox and Sweeney underneath in the seam as well......throw in a bit of Brown & Beasley......hmmmm...... -
...strange stuff......started with the "wrong Allen"......then Ed......and lest we forget how badly Milano was missed here when out with injury ....only to return and proposed to be a "potential liability".......think my favorite was last year when some of our "pundits" proposed 'Tre as "trade bait" to move up in the draft....hmmm......

Climate protesters block stores, disrupt Black Friday shopping By Sam Dorman | Fox News Protesters around the world disrupted Black Friday shopping in order to draw attention to climate change days before the United Nations met to discuss the issue in Madrid. The retail holiday saw protests in a long list of countries -- including France, Germany, the United States -- with some activists entering stores and others holding mock funerals. Near Paris, climate demonstrators blocked a shopping mall and gathered in from of Amazon’s headquarters to protest over-production they say is killing the planet. To many activists, Black Friday is the epitome of this shift, a purely commercial event designed to boost U.S. retailers ahead of the Christmas holidays, the symbol of capitalism run amok. "We are living in a system of endless consumerism," the group Extinction Rebellion NYC tweeted on Friday. "Earth cannot sustain that, especially as we accelerate towards climate and ecological catastrophe." https://www.foxnews.com/world/climate-protesters-black-friday

So please tell me again, how McD is Dick Jauron
OldTimeAFLGuy replied to Reader's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
...just a hunch, but can't forget McD has 1/2 the NFL experience as did Jauron....as SC Bills said, "he's evolving"....last three games as case in point......with both from defensive backgrounds, the generic inference stems from defense first with a conservative style of offense...but that's where it stops...Dickie was beholden to and fiercely loyal to vets......hell FredEx was riding the pine while Anthony "The (derailed) A-Train" was toting the rock...can;t remember the exact game, but Dickie called his number three times from the one and nada......look how many youngsters McD uses without hesitation...and it sure as hell is paying dividends.... -
...well Groza or Blanda aren't so far........
