Reports: Tony Romo wants CBS to make him the highest-paid NFL analyst on TV Romo's representatives at Creative Artists Agency are reportedly asking for $10 million per year. By SportsDay Staff-Dallas Morning News 7:44 PM on Aug 29, 2019 Much like Cowboys running back Ezekiel Elliott, former quarterback Tony Romo wants to be the highest-paid at his position. With his initial three-year contract with CBS is set to expire at the end of this season, and negotiations for a new deal have reportedly stalled, with little progress. In a story on frntofficesport.com, Michael McCarthy reports that Romo's representatives at Creative Artists Agency are asking for $10 million annually. His current deal is $4 million a year. If he gets his way, Romo would be the first sports analyst to score an eight-figure contract. https://www.dallasnews.com/sports/cowboys/2019/08/29/reports-tony-romo-wants-cbs-to-make-him-the-highest-paid-nfl-analyst-on-tv/

Iran Published 25 mins ago Kerry deflects question about why he released money to Iran, accused Trump of 'lies' By Ronn Blitzer | Fox News Former Secretary of State John Kerry faced a question about his role in releasing billions of dollars to Iran during the Obama administration and responded by first attacking President Trump’s criticism of the move. President Trump has claimed that Iran’s recent aggression against the U.S. in Iraq was funded by $150 billion that the Obama administration gave to Iran. Kerry insists that this is false, although in the past he recognized the at least some of the money – which was frozen due to sanctions and held in banks around the world before being released at roughly the same time the Iran nuclear deal was made – would end up in the hands of terrorists. https://www.foxnews.com/politics/kerry-deflects-question-about-why-he-released-money-to-iran-accused-trump-of-lies

  19. ...r u 'effin kidding me?...FISA wants legitimacy?.....oh boy......... FBI Published 47 mins ago Last Update 5 mins ago FISA selects former Obama admin lawyer, left-wing blogger to oversee FBI's surveillance reforms By Gregg Re | Fox News The Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court (FISC) has stunned court-watchers by selecting David Kris -- a former Obama administration lawyer who has appeared on "The Rachel Maddow Show" and written extensively in support of the FBI's surveillance practices on the left-wing blog Lawfare -- to oversee the FBI's implementation of reforms in the wake of a damning Department of Justice Inspector general report last year. The development on Friday, first reported by independent journalist Mike Cernovich, has roiled Republicans who have demanded accountability at the FBI. House Intelligence Commitee ranking member Devin Nunes, R-Calif., told The Daily Caller that Kris' appointment was "shocking" and "inexplicable." "It’s hard to imagine a worse person the FISC could have chosen outside [James] Comey, [Andy] McCabe, or [Adam] Schiff,” Nunes said. Speaking to Fox News contributor Sara Carter, Nunes added: “It’s a ridiculous choice. The FBI lied to the FISC, and to help make sure that doesn’t happen again, the FISC chose an FBI apologist who denied and defended those lies. The FISC is setting its own credibility on fire.” https://www.foxnews.com/politics/fisa-selects-former-obama-admin-lawyer-left-wing-blogger-to-oversee-fbis-surveillance-reforms
  20. ...I'm with ya bro......BUT....does what he "leaves to Daboll" come with rigid, conservative parameters?.....a/k/a is Daboll limited?......or are Daboll's offensive play calling skill sets limited because of HIM?.....just some of my Daboll observations (FWIW)......will employ gimmickry or cutesy plays (good, bad or indifferent)......finds something that is working but prematurely abandons it......offensive game plan is shut down and we're faced with inability to adjust or counter...."it's the personnel stupid" was the battle cry last year.....but don't GOOD coaches devise game plans that play to their personnel strengths?....did he?.....
  21. hell even Massengill wants NO part of this nefarious d-bag.......Cali-Fun-Ya strikes AGAIN.............. Pelosi defends holding onto impeachment articles, accuses McConnell of supporting ‘cover-up’ By Ronn Blitzer | Fox News House Speaker Nancy Pelosi confirmed Sunday that she and fellow Democrats will soon discuss sending articles of impeachment against President Trump to the Senate for a trial, and defended her decision to wait weeks to do so. Pelosi has faced criticism from Republicans for not allowing the impeachment process to move forward, and even some Democrats have expressed impatience. Still, she insists it has been an effective strategy. https://www.foxnews.com/politics/pelosi-defends-holding-onto-impeachment-articles-accuses-mcconnell-of-supporting-cover-up
  22. ...possibly...so answer my question as to who is the Bills offensive impediment, McDermott's handcuffs or Daboll's shortcomings..........
  23. ...so apparently Daboll is staying, which poses an interesting thread debate.....perhaps a technically astute TBDer could construct a poll thread (beyond me; I'm brain dead) as to whether the offense rests solely on Daboll or if McDermott has a significant influence......is Daboll handcuffed by McDermott's defensive/conservative leanings?.....or...is Daboll qualified to devise an offense with youngsters as a "plan builder" or does he need a seasoned vet group?.......questions are endless if we're going into year 3.....anybody want to take on the task?.....could be a real comprehensive debate.....
