...through my external IT Services/Network Engineering firm, I subscribe to a national firm that hosts/provides Managed Services (I'll have to look up the name).....they monitor all servers, work stations, etc., provide automatic patch downloads and send my data nightly offsite to three different locations in the USA for disaster recovery...costs me $50,000 /year....you can get "where they may go" monitoring software, but you'd probably need a person whose sole function was to monitor and report, requiring a company ramifications policy.....

...Edge does not allow full access to your printer options.....I have 5 print stations in the building all with Toshiba multi-functions.....if I use Firefox, ALL options are available (duplex, collate, duplex and staple, etc).....not with Edge.......Firefox and Chrome give me my normal slate of print options.................

...Edge is a royal PIA......it grabs every PDF file and precludes Adobe from being your primary(have to change settings in Adobe).....it also grabs print parameters and overrides any of my network print parameters....I have 5 zone network printers based on office department location.....it stops my ability to set my print parameters to a specific location........

...10 does have some quirks......I probably have ample security hardware and software to combat any issues with 7 non-support. particularly with patches.....but it's hard for me to gamble with my premier customer base to face problems.....typical Microsoft move to force the issue....hell we still get customer spreadsheets originated on Excel 2003....

...pretty sure I do get "IT".....it's a woeful systemic failure of epic proportions.....just take the generic nomenclature of "Social Services".....undermanned, understaffed, qualifications of those in the system, case overloads, quality investigative time non-existent, insurmountable wait times so those in need walk away frustrated, etc.....you know the rest.....solution?.......NOT.........
