  1. ...we took the kids to Florida for years...we started in Orlando, doing Disney and Universal (they transformed me into a roller coaster nut)....then we'd head down to Bradenton and stay with my brother-in-law and sister-in-law....my wife passed away in 2015 and her brother in 2016, so I take the kids and my daughter-in-law to Aruba now......I absolutely hated the Sunshine Skyway Bridge.......remember going over it in 1988......was such a chicken that if we flew out of Tampa, I'd take I-75 from Bradenton to go around it.........
  2. ...where the hell did I say anything about the left, right or centrist?......I purposely left politics out of it, but your ignorance pervades......
  3. ...dead on bud.....aren't the Welkers, Edelmans, Amendolas, etc of the Pats world what have contributed immensely to Brady's success?......
  4. ...removing the political aspect and focusing purely on an individual with Stage IV cancer......my late brother-in-law was diagnosed with Stage IV bladder cancer.......bladder was removed and he had a bag...endured multiple bouts of chemo and radiation.......numerous infections requiring multiple hospitalizations...........endured a year of living hell until it finally took him.....who in their right mind with a milligram of decency could or would ever wish that on a fellow human being?....oh wait.........
  5. ...great question and there is probably no easy answer.....do you treat The Value Chart as gospel or as a rough guideline, or throw it out altogether?......do you target teams that are pick thin who may be interested in acquiring more?.....some say the late picks are "garbage anyhow"........BUT....how about Bflo's uncanny success in the 5th?.......or even UDFA's?......I've been a BIG help, haven't I??.......hopefully the far more astute chime in...........
  6. ...thanks bud....great help......median household income in Buffalo is $37K vs $52k for Tampa (if chart is accurate)....metro Tampa population is 3.068 million vs 1.134 million for Buffalo...so metro Tamps is three times bigger and 40% higher median income......thus a Bucs game being more expensive than a Bills game makes sense ("what the market will bear")....and Tampa has a far more substantial corporate presence...if both teams broke ground tomorrow on identical new stadiums, Tampa has the far better position of financial sustainability with assumed PSL's, increased tickets prices as well as all of the game amenities vs Buffalo.....Pegula has some real homework to do IMO.....
  7. ...there are a multitude of variables.......would the more affluent fan be willing to endure snow games in the winter versus the diehards who currently attend, assuming a segment would be part of the "priced out" contingent?......a basic proforma financial model exercise would be fairly straightforward despite assumptions to include projected revenues, reasonable debt service and ROI, etc.....the tough part (for me at least; I'm in my 44th year as a CFO) would be the market feasibility study including demographics, disposable income, etc to sustain the model long term (beyond my scope)........ ....too late...I bought Don's parcel in Letchworth..............
  8. ...Beane will package up lower round picks to move up anyway.....anyway, his WR moves albeit draft and/or FA will be interesting............
  9. ...you hurt the feelings of the greedmeister Boy Danny Snyder by leaving him out.......on another note, he is an interesting perspective (?) someone posted in one of the numerous new stadium threads (apologize, but I'll have to paraphrase)......"a new stadium with higher ticket prices would attract the more affluent fan who currently stays at home to avoid the rowdy drunken fans that currently attend......that ilk would then be priced out"........hmmmm.......
  10. ...eliminating the travel costs, can you do a comparative analysis of taking the family to a Bucs game vs a Bills game?........their stadium was built in 1998 for $168 mil, a total public finance.....New Era was upgraded in 2012 for $130 mil......so it appears neither facility has stadium debt service...........
  11. ...from what I've read, especially here from our TBD collegiate ball experts, this is the deepest WR class "in years".....I believe the Daniel Jeremiah quote was, "could be the fastest WR class in history"........so why not trade down to 27 to pick up an extra 2nd, grabbing a WR with either pick in that round?...with the anticipated depth, I'd guess there would still be some significant value available.........
  12. Northeast Region Fiber Cut Outage 2/8/20 Spectrum customers in the Northeast Region (New York, Maine, and New Hampshire) may have all services disrupted due to a damaged fiber optic cable caused by weather-related events. We are working to restore your service soon.
  13. ...Spectrum cable is down in Rochester.....where's Goodell?............
  14. .....oh...my apology......isn't that EXACTLY what I said?.......seems like you conveniently skipped over economy of scale and what the WNY market can bear.........skipping those tiny details, sounds you of the volition, "if we build it, they will come".....got it......
  15. ...the actions of the forelorned Nancy were grossly misinterpreted...... Dems demand Twitter, Facebook take down edited video of Pelosi ripping up State of the Union speech posted by Trump By Adam Shaw | Fox News Democrats are calling on Twitter and Facebook to take down an edited video of House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., ripping up the State of the Union address -- claiming it's designed to “mislead” people. “The latest fake video of Speaker Pelosi is deliberately designed to mislead and lie to the American people, and every day that these platforms refuse to take it down is another reminder that they care more about their shareholders’ interests than the public’s interests,” Drew Hammill, Pelosi's deputy chief of staff, said Friday. https://www.foxnews.com/politics/democrats-demand-twitter-yank-edited-video-of-pelosi-ripping-state-of-the-union-speech-posted-by-trump
  16. ...LMAO.....he can't....he's as effective here at PPP as he is on the football side....trait carried over from his BBB days....SMH...........
  17. ...think the WNY economy of scale is a significant factor......our 20 person suite is $75,000 at New Era before you add in food/beverage, transportation, parking, etc.....same suite for Cowgirls or Deadskins is easily $225,000+ BEFORE PSL's....we'd be out in a nanosecond.....food/beverage runs us $1,500 per game and limo bus is $1,000 per game.....so add in another 20 grand......Falcons currently have PSL defaults tabbed up at 32 MILLION in a far more corporately strong market vs Buffalo.....so exactly how do you propose to get a new stadium done, specifically?.......take a hypothetical Lucas Oil Field new stadium at $800 mil....think NY's Big Fredo would pony up $400 mil (COUGH)?......why should Pegula match with $400 mil and no ROI?....Santa Claus?......ROI would come in the form of PSL's, increased ticket & suite prices, etc......how much of a financial hit could WNY absorb?.........
  18. ....sorry, but I have to wait for "Fredo" to give me the "straight scoop"....................
  19. ...perhaps New Hampshire would be a good starting point??......
  20. ..."folks, Putin is on line 1....who wants to go first?"..................
  21. .....I'd bet even Waste Management would decline picking you up on Monday morning.......something about "non-contributory dialogue wasting space in their trucks"...hmm....
