  1. .....hmmmm....Arkancide tries a new method....induced cardiac arrest.....easy there Bernie........ Bernie Sanders interrupted by topless protesters at Nevada rally By Bradford Betz | Fox News A group of topless protesters stormed a Bernie Sanders rally in Nevada Sunday afternoon, throwing paint, fake blood and water on the podium before security whisked them away. Sen. Sanders, I-Vt., speaking at a rally in Carson City, had just finished introducing his wife as “the next first lady” when a woman ran up to the podium, trying to grab Sanders’ mic. A visibly irritated Sanders yanked the mic away. The woman then grabbed another mic on the podium. “Bernie, I’m your biggest supporter, and I’m here to ask you to stop propping up the dairy industry and to stop propping up animal agriculture. I believe in you,” the woman said before her mic was cut. Sanders exited the stage as a chaotic scene unfolded. https://www.foxnews.com/politics/bernie-sanders-topless-protesters-nevada-rally
  2. ....a real shocker about another upstanding Dem.....along with this little tidbit: "Sharpton himself owes New York state $806,875 and has federal liens for unpaid personal income taxes against him totaling $2.6 million, records show. The Harlem-based NAN owed $813,576 to the federal government at the end of 2012, according to the most recent filings for the group. Sharpton’s company, Rev-Al Communications, owes $447,826 to the state.." Al Sharpton's 2004 campaign still owes $900K after failed presidential bid Owes money more than 15 years after his 2004 campaign By Evie FordhamFOXBusiness Rev. Al Sharpton's unsuccessful presidential campaign had nearly $1 million in debt at the end of 2019 — more than 15 years after his 2004 presidential bid. Sharpton's former campaign treasurer Andrew Rivera is responsible for paying off the $925,713.78 in debt. "I have asked Andrew Rivera, the finance chair of my 2004 campaign, to set up a meeting with the Federal Election Commission so that I can resolve any campaign debts related to Sharpton 2004,” Sharpton told the New York Post. “I am willing to work out a settlement for all claims with my own money to the degree that I’m allowed and will raise money directly ... Even if I am not legally liable for it, I am certainly morally responsible.” https://www.foxbusiness.com/money/al-sharpton-campaign-debt-net-worth

  6. ...sorry Rush, Pete ain't butt hurt............... Buttigieg says he's 'not going to be lectured on family values' by Rush Limbaugh By Andrew O'Reilly | Fox News Former South Bend, Ind., Mayor Pete Buttigieg hit back at criticism from radio talk show host Rush Limbaugh for his comments about the 2020 Democratic presidential hopeful’s marriage. Buttigieg said on Sunday that he is proud of his marriage and his husband following comments from Limbaugh about whether voters would elect him because he’s been “kissing his husband” on stage after debates. “I am in a faithful, loving and committed marriage,” Buttigieg said during an appearance on “Fox News Sunday.” “I’m proud of my marriage. And I’m proud of my husband." https://www.foxnews.com/politics/buttigieg-says-hes-not-going-to-be-lectured-on-family-values-by-rush-limbaugh

  8. ....sorry but the lipstick on his arse is his own......he hit the limelight way too early and his focus became "tats 'n poses", forgetting what the hell he was getting paid for.....opposing DC's figured him out.....once that happened, he was not that good and certainly cannot be a consideration 4 years hence.....he's the NFL version of the "SS Minnow".......
  9. ...uh oh.....GB's prognostications have dashed Tyrod's hopes of being the starter according to Lynn's earlier comments..... 6. Chargers - Justin Herbert - QB - Oregan The Philip Rivers era is officially over and the Chargers are going to draft a Quarterback. I don't love Herbert and he isn't a lock to be the third QB off the board on my opinion, but he remains the most likely to be picked here. ...so no concerns with his recently published "nagging injury"?.............
  10. Bad quarterbacks a big problem for the XFL Posted by Michael David Smith on February 16, 2020, 5:39 AM EST The XFL’s first weekend was a success, with solid TV ratings and generally favorable fan reactions to the upstart league’s innovative rules. Week 2 of the XFL is a different story. Two more XFL games were played on Saturday, neither of them was compelling, and both of them suffered from bad quarterback play. The quarterbacks playing in the XFL right now just don’t look capable of delivering the kind of football that modern fans have grown accustomed to watching. Obviously, no quarterback who’s good enough to start in the NFL is going to play in the XFL. But for its games to be entertaining, the the XFL at least needs quarterbacks who are able to play well against XFL defenses. And currently, the XFL doesn’t have enough of those quarterbacks. https://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2020/02/16/bad-quarterbacks-a-big-problem-for-the-xfl/#comments

  12. from the Nevada Independent: Two top Culinary Union officials have faced threatening phone calls, emails and tweets and say their personal information was shared online after the release of a union scorecard that took particular aim at Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders. Secretary-Treasurer Geoconda Arguello-Kline, for instance, has come under attack for her Nicaraguan heritage, and union spokeswoman Bethany Khan was accused of being paid off by former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and other Democratic establishment types. In tweets, the union and its leadership have been referred to as “*****,” “*****,” “***** scab” and “evil, entitled #######s.” Union officials also raised concerns about a commenter on a Nevada Independent article that referred to members of the Culinary Union, who hail from 178 countries and speak more than 40 different languages, as “illegals,” though a review of posts by the Independent suggests the commenter is a Trump supporter who opposes Medicare for all, not a Sanders supporter.
  13. ...probably dead wrong, but I don't see McBeane spending money like a drunken sailor for the sake of "spending it all"......he's honed his skills as a value shopper IMO, structuring deals that don't end up in cap hell.....he'll also focus on extending his own that are worthy IMO.....
  14. ...."Uh Oh Joe" is rankled........... Biden calls out Sanders after supporters reportedly targeted union: 'Find out who the hell they are' By Ronn Blitzer | Fox News Former Vice President Joe Biden called out 2020 presidential rival Sen. Bernie Sanders, I-Vt., after the Culinary Union complained that Sanders’ supporters “viciously attacked” them. The union said its members were targeted after the organization released a flyer claiming that Sanders wants to “end culinary health care” with his “Medicare-for-All” plan. Biden said that Sanders has not done enough to condemn this or root out this sort of behavior. “He may not be responsible for it, but he has some accountability,” Biden told NBC’s “Meet the Press” in an excerpt the network posted of an interview airing in full Sunday. “You know me well enough to know if any of my supporters did that, I’d disown them. Flat disown them. The stuff that was said online. The way they threatened these two women who are leaders in that Culinary union. It is outrageous." The union represents 60,000 hotel and casino workers in Nevada, which will have its Democratic caucuses on Feb. 22. While the union said they are not endorsing any of the candidates in the Democratic race, they said in a leaflet that “presidential candidates suggesting forcing millions of hardworking people to give up their health care creates unnecessary division between workers, and will give us four more years of Trump.” https://www.foxnews.com/politics/biden-calls-out-sanders-after-supporters-reportedly-targeted-union-find-out-who-the-hell-they-are

  16. ....let's fairly give credit where credit is due (COUGH)............. Larry Elder: Trump's economy is so good that Dems' new talking point is Obama built it By Larry Elder | Creators Syndicate The "expert" predictions of economic disaster should Donald Trump win the 2016 election did not occur. Under Trump, the Dow Jones Industrial Average and Nasdaq composite have reached historical highs while unemployment for blacks and Hispanics have hit historical lows. In the wake of Trump's undeniable economic success, what is the 2020 Democratic Party argument for why voters should back their candidate over Trump? The morning after Trump's election, Paul Krugman, economics professor and columnist for The New York Times, wrote: "Now comes the mother of all adverse effects -- and what it brings with it is a regime that will be ignorant of economic policy and hostile to any effort to make it work. Effective fiscal support for the Fed? Not a chance. In fact, you can bet that the Fed will lose its independence, and be bullied by cranks. So we are very probably looking at a global recession, with no end in sight. I suppose we could get lucky somehow. But on economics, as on everything else, a terrible thing has just happened." During the 2016 campaign, Mark Cuban, billionaire owner of the NBA Dallas Mavericks, predicted that a Trump victory could cause not just a minor stock market decline, but one as high as 20 percent or more: "When you're flip-flopping, when you're not sure what the candidate's going to say from one thing to another, that uncertainty potentially as the president of the United States -- that's the last thing Wall Street wants to hear. I can say with 100 percent certainty that there is a really good chance we could see a huge, huge correction. ... It could be 20 percent. You know, now, with high-frequency trading, accelerating, strong moves in any direction -- it could be worse than that." https://www.foxnews.com/opinion/trumps-economy-talking-point-obama-built-it-larry-elder
