  1. ...interesting question but I'll have to guess because I don't frequent them (all I ever got was heartburn)....I'd say none......I'd bet a certain segment of their customer base that they depend on is the "impulse buyer".....with nine cars behind you in the drive-thru, you may rush through your order whereas going inside, there isn't much pressure and you may buy (hopefully) other menu items that were unintended but "sounded good".....just a hunch though........
  2. ...bet he just choked on RUBY RED....think it's #37 in the 64 box.................
  3. ...this could be a growing trend as well........ "Starting Monday night, Hoboken NJ residents will be under curfew from 10 p.m. until 5 a.m. the next day."
  4. ..here in Monroe County (Rochester), County Health Commissioner is asking bars and restaurants to consider voluntary closing...........I'd bet mandatory edict is to follow..... wouldn't surprise me to see Erie County follow suit........... ...what color is yours anyway?...just askin'.......... ...this could be a growing trend as well........ 5. ...here in Monroe County (Rochester), County Health Commissioner is asking bars and restaurants to consider voluntary closing...........I'd bet mandatory edict is to follow.....Erie County next??.........cancelling the family vacation to Aruba on 3/22 really sucks......their GDP is 80%+ tourism......thank my lucky stars that I'm fortunate enough to be able to tip those fine folks, but the restrictions are changing hourly and Aruba is locking down quickly......
  6. .with this news, Toilet Paper futures are up 87%............. Taco Bell prepares to go 'drive-thru and delivery only' amid coronavirus outbreak By Michael Hollan | Fox News Taco Bell doesn't plan to close during the coronavirus pandemic, but restaurant dining rooms may soon be off-limits. The fast-food chain recently announced that it's taking steps to close dining areas, operating only through drive-thru and delivery options. Mark King, CEO of Taco Bell Corp., posted a letter Saturday stating that the company has "an obligation to do something to help stop this from spreading." https://www.foxnews.com/food-drink/taco-bell-drive-thru-coronavirus

  8. ...McBeane read your post and the loud thud in the background was him collapsing to the floor.............
  9. ...quite different here in Rochester NY......went out shopping yesterday and it was madness.....empty shelves everywhere.....who would think to shop Home Depot or Lowes for toilet paper, paper towels, hand sanitizer, etc?......EMPTY....Wegmans Food Markets here (Rochester based with 100+ store here in the East) cut store hours and now added canned goods, fresh meat, poultry, etc to their growing list of rationed items...never seen anything like this in my 66 years......my kids and daughter in law are devastated that we have to cancel family vacation in Aruba starting 3/22.......
  10. ...FWIW, my two quick observations...... 1. The "flu season" is an annual occurrence that we've grown accustomed to despite the number of infected, hospitalizations and deaths. We know that annually there will be A vaccine available, but not to be construed to mean THE vaccine as in 100% preventative. There are too many strains and I'd bet many forego even the existing vaccine. 2. Coronavirus has NO vaccine (yet). Thus the "flames of panic" are being fanned. Just the same as the flu, there will eventually be A vaccine available, but not to be construed to mean THE vaccine as in 100% preventative. ...SMH...just irresponsible, reckless fear mongering....there are 162,000 confirmed cases WORLDWIDE..... .......multiple "vaccinations" would suit me just fine..........
  11. ...NO VACCINE AVAILABLE is the driving force behind the unprecedented panic IMO....even though there is an annual flu vaccine available, it is hardly 100% preventative because of numerous strains.....CDC cites 2017-2018 US flu season yielded 45 million infected, 810,000 hospitalizations and 61,000 deaths.....who knows how many within those numbers had the vaccine?.....how many people have you heard say, "I NEVER bother with a flu shot"?.......but its availability dampened the fears that we are seeing with coronavirus IMO....
  12. ..according to CDC, stats for 2017-2018 flu season in US............. ILLNESSES: 45 million HOSPITALIZATIONS: 810,000 DEATHS: 61,000
  13. ....arbitrarily state 100,000 are infected in Ohio when there 162,000 confirmed cases WORLDWIDE?........reckless, irresponsible fear mongering IMO...............
  14. ...thought I read the Bolts offered $10 mil/yr but he's looking for $13 mil/yr........think he'd better keep shopping........
  15. ...certainly understand what you are saying....at the same time, the pioneers of NFL football left their regular jobs, showed up to play football, and even had a post game beer and butt at their locker. ......and finally returning back home.....CTE, inferior player protection equipment, becoming physically incapacitated, pain killer addiction, etc never crossed their minds.....
  16. ...according to CDC, stats for 2017-2018 flu season in US............. ILLNESSES: 45 million HOSPITALIZATIONS: 810,000 DEATHS: 61,000
  17. ...the infection and mortality rates are similar to the annual flu season......however, there is some "peace of mind" knowing that flu vaccine is available annually even though it is effective for certain strains only....
  18. ....but based on the billions the cash cow generates, I think they could find "a few bucks" to enhance pensions of the players who helped pave the way early on for today's player riches......read the Conrad Dobler story for reference...........
  19. ....read the story about Conrad Dobler, crippled and addicted to pain killers, trying to survive on his whopping $1,000+/mo........gut wrenching......Bills' own Billy Shaw played for 18 grand a year....had to work until age 66 mixing cement so he could get full Social Security to make ends meet..............
  20. ....TBDers would be lining up on the Peace Bridge with one leg over the rail......
  21. ...so they are now self quarantined from the Lizzievirus............devastating............
  22. ...makes no sense for us to go to Aruba......they're testing at their airport and if you're positive, automatic 14 day quarantine.......if you get sick while there and test positive, same result....I'm not even sure if Blue Cross would cover you there......all schools are now closed....all public, private and cultural activities are now postponed through 3/31.....we stay at the Riu Palace which is all inclusive, but we don't want to be bound to the hotel........read where all Canadians returning home from international travel are automatically quarantined for 14 days....everything is changing HOURLY......St Maarten has now placed restrictions on US travelers.......and the US could begin to restrict domestic travel......
  23. ...safe to say the message is ringing clear at least here in Rochester.....empty shelves in every store........grocery stores now limiting canned goods, meat, poultry, etc in addition to other items previously limited....people lined up outside waiting to get in...all schools now closed....work colleagues with kids in college are picking them up as dorms and campuses shut down....never have seen anything like this in my 66 years....supposed to take my children and daughter in law to Aruba on 3/22.....as restrictions tighten, that's out the window...
