  8. …"live" testing has begun...………... Coronavirus vaccine test opens as US volunteer gets 1st shot By LAURAN NEERGAARD and CARLA K. JOHNSON, AP Medical Writers 18 mins ago SEATTLE (AP) — U.S. researchers gave the first shot to the first person in a test of an experimental coronavirus vaccine Monday -- leading off a worldwide hunt for protection even as the pandemic surges. With a careful jab in a healthy volunteer’s arm, scientists at the Kaiser Permanente Washington Research Institute in Seattle begin an anxiously awaited first-stage study of a potential COVID-19 vaccine developed in record time after the new virus exploded from China and fanned across the globe. “We’re team coronavirus now,” Kaiser Permanente study leader Dr. Lisa Jackson said on the eve of the experiment. “Everyone wants to do what they can in this emergency.” https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/us/coronavirus-vaccine-test-opens-as-us-volunteer-gets-1st-shot/ar-BB11gCN6?ocid=spartanntp
  9. …….back open for business...……. China relaxes travel restrictions in coronavirus-hit Wuhan, shifts concern to international travelers By Travis Fedschun | Fox News As Europe and the U.S. hunker down at home and stock up on supplies as coronavirus cases surge, officials in China began to ease travel restrictions on Monday in the country's epicenter of the deadly outbreak that's since spread globally. The official Xinhua News Agency reported Monday that cities just outside the epicenter of Wuhan in the hardest-hit virus province of Hubei were chartering buses to send people who had returned home for the Lunar New Year in late January back to work.
  10. ..just a hunch that a vaccine will be developed elsewhere in the world, put into service to stop the spread while the FDA and CDC wrangle over turf war at home........

  15. ...how the 'eff this skank even still has a job is beyond me..... De Blasio considering NYC lockdown amid coronavirus surge New York Post New York City’s coronavirus cases have skyrocketed in less than a week from 25 on Monday to 269 Sunday as Mayor Bill de Blasio considers locking down the Big Apple to contain the outbreak. “Every option is on the table in a crisis,” de Blasio said Sunday morning on CNN. “We’ve never seen anything like this,” he said. De Blasio expects the city’s coronavirus tally to rise to 1,000 in the next few days. “It’s changing every hour so we’re going to constantly make new decisions,” de Blasio said about the dynamic public health emergency. He also called on the Trump administration to assume a war-time footing. https://www.foxnews.com/politics/de-blasio-considering-nyc-lockdown-amid-coronavirus-surge
  16. ....seriously?...would you expect anything LESS?.....he's generally 62 short of a full box anyway.............
  17. ..several of my co-workers with collegians are picking them up this weekend as dorms are being closed and classes will be on-line only for the rest of the semester.....some conjecture has been "wonder if I will get a room and board refund".....what are you faced with?...........
  18. ...Wegmans here in Rochester as well as Tops which is Buffalo based, have started rationing canned goods (ie. soups, veggies, etc) as well as fresh meat, poultry, pork, etc., adding to their growing rations list......Wegmans is a major customer of ours and our electricians stationed at their main warehouse facility here said it is virtually empty....they just cannot get resupply fast enough to meet the panic demand.....
  19. ...certainly hope you're ok 30 days out......I get five weeks paid vacation a year and take only one week with my kids and daughter in law (DUMBAZZ).....my daughter runs a major event venue in Rochester and works every weekend.....pretty proud that she's only 26 and does $3 mil/yr......despite Aruba's GDP lifeblood being 80% tourism, they have shut down schools as well as cancelling public, private and cultural activities (but no definitive description of what that means)......if the US eventually mandates 14 day self quarantine for ANY international US citizen travelers, none of us could afford to be out of work for 3 weeks combined nor do I relish significant airport delays (Aruba's airport is THE worst)....it sucks... ...not to worry Hap!......last call is 9:30 with guaranteed immunity................9:45 and you're on your own....
  20. ....perhaps a need for drive-thru bathrooms would be the appropriate corrective measure??........... ...Wegmans is now even rationing bread, albeit packaged or their baked in store offerings......
  21. ....in all seriousness, the tirades are pretty scary.......I had a co-worker who was forced into retirement at 55 due to the onset of dementia, which ironically killed his mother in her early 60's.....he is now a vegetable at 59 and one of his brothers was just diagnosed......hence a hereditary occurrence.....his mom was a little, docile Italian woman who became increasingly violent and abusive as the disease progressed...same thing happened to my late mother in law.....woman never, NEVER had a mean streak in her body...my father in law ruled the roost.....as the disease progressed, she became increasingly violent and abusive to the point of physically attacking him....Biden seemingly is becoming more combative and abusive towards possible supporters.....must be the New Age Way to say, "see I'm a tough guy".........um, er, well, uh, oh........okay Joe.... ...so no more "First Knuckle Permissible" ?...........
  22. ...has he been given the "how to" instructions?............PDF style with pictures............
