  1. Agreed, although I'd like to get the NYI in HSBC in the first round. Stafford is in for the long run, man that kid works his a$$ of every shift. It's going to be interesting to see who's going to dress when everyone is healthy. Lindy's got some hard choices up ahead but that's a good thing. Nathan P. is actually playing quite well of late as well. Think he could stay on the team and dress with all defenseman healthy? Would they scratch Kalinin at this point if all the d is healthy and start NP?
  2. Looks like a treasure troll on acid.
  3. X. who do you see us playing in the first round?
  4. Why wouldn't they just pull Peters closer to them? Seems like that would avoid the long reach Andrew has and force him to punch off his hip. Pushing down... It sounds strange but obviously if that's what DB did tonight it certainly worked. And it would explain why AP fell 4 times during the fight to his knees.
  5. He did that not to long ago in another fight, not NJ but... Anyway Ray was putting in his two cents to Jim and Rick about how that was terrible technique and how it was going to end up costing Peters big time.
  6. I scrolled through the whole thread waiting for this... Thanks!
  7. One of the rare nights I actually get to watch them live. Gotta get the special teams going tonight.
  8. Is it just me or am I the only one who thinks that Houston has more pressing needs than a rb right now?
  9. Good trade for Atlanta.
  10. No offense to the Fred Jackson crowd. But, why all the hype? What has this guy ever done? And by coming into camp more ripped and in shape people think that this is going to make a difference? Doubt it. The fact of the matter is this guy probably won't make the team and will end up on someone's practice squad. Trust me, I love the under dog but I just don't see it with Jackson.
  11. Yup. Bruce and Reggie we're doubled most of their playing days. Which definetly helped him and his stats. God I miss Bruce.....
  12. Ah the official poster boy for high motor white men.
  13. Wow. His weight could have been a factor in his 40 time. He weighed 242 at the combine and at his pro day he weighed 237. I can't really see shedding those 5 lbs. that much of a difference. It sounds scewed to me. That 40 time is faster than 95% of the cb's at the combine. Plus I really don't think it will matter because he'll have to bulk up a little more for the NFL. His playing weight should be between the 245-250 range. These guys drop weight to improve they're 40, short shuttle and cone times.
  14. Terrell Owens. Fuggin attention whore. Oh and that douche bag from Toronto Darcy Tucker, fuggin knob.
  15. The HS kids are in bed. Shhh.
  16. Buffalo.
  17. Marv will be the first one to lobby that he gets it removed . Just for kicks I remembered that his combine hurt him a little in the draft. And the only time I can ever remember the kid getting caught from behind was Pac "Misdemeanor" Jones so I did some research. 4.42 in the 40 400-pound bench 385-pound squat 225 pounds 20 times (bench) 31½-inch vertical jump They used to call the Turner "The Burner". And behind the new and improved oline he'd probably get to the second level quite a bit.
  18. And how did you find this out? New era's insider website?
  19. You think the closer we get to the draft the asking price for Turner may drop? Would you give up the Bills second round pick for the guy? Interesting..... Edit: And if Chris Brown is "hearing" this it might mean that the Bills are looking at Turner as an option. Right?
  20. The Bengals continue to draft for defense, but their defense keeps getting worse. This year will bring an unexpected shift when they draft for offense and their defense gets worse. Too true.
  21. This report is a smoke-screen. Do you really think that anyone inside the organization is gonna say or hold a press conference re: who the Bills are actually looking to draft.
  22. My draft board: I'm shocked none of you have this guy as your number 1. 1. Calvin Johnson 2. Adrian Peterson 3. Gaines Adams 4. Leon Hall 5. Alan Branch 6. Patrick Willis 7. Amobi Okoye 8. Marshawn Lynch 9. Robert Meachem 10. Aaron Ross 11. Darrelle Revis 12. Greg Olsen 13. Paul Posluszny 14. Chris Houston 15. Lawrence Timmons I left out the qb's, olinemen and most of the de's except Gaines Adams because the dude would step right in and get 10 sacks with right away. LaRon Landry was also off the list due to the fact that Simpson and Whitner did a pretty good job in the secondary as rookies and are only going to improve. I wouldn't be shocked if Buffalo nabbed a wr, cb, rb, lb or even a te in the first (with a trade down). I'd be happy with any one of the lb's listed above, preferably in the order I listed. Ranked Ross ahead of Revis because of his combine performance but Hall is by far the best on the board (cb).
  23. Or even played a down in the NFL. He'll be very lucky if he starts at nickel back. Probably see alot of special teams play.
