  1. I'm high on our de's too. Still, I can't figure out the pressure problem last week. Whether it was the three step drop or the Jets ot's were just that good. A good rotation of Kelsa-Denney is going to be one of the main focuses for me in this game. Also IF Takeo comes back. I think he is a HUGE lift mentally for this d. Should be interesting.
  2. He's working at the Springville Walmart with Kieth Mc Keller.
  3. Gusss I'm just looking at their dl vs. our oline and the battles that are going to be taking place there. Williams (2), Scott and Udeze are all talanted players and are capable of stopping the run. Getting Willis to the second level might be tough. I looked back at that Baltimore team with the monster d. How they carried every game. That's why I think Baltimore is a legit contender this year cause they're dominating d is back. Once Jp is there, which he has shown flashes of a solid starter and shown some bone head decsions. I think the offense will decide our fate. As of now it's all on the d's shoulders and stopping the run. 790838[/snapback] Jonson is a great decision maker. Taylor's not 100% (ankle). But they do have Moore who is a decent and fast back up. If we keep them under 100 yards toatl on the ground I'll be estatic.
  4. Ok. So let me ask you this, what is important to the outcome? Keys to the game Sunday, well today, anyone? Lets talk Minnesota vs. Buffalo.
  5. Ok so we do the same kind of work. You get it then.
  6. One thing that cracks me up about this whole Losman debate is this. People on this board can B word and moan all they want about how Losman isn't NFL ready and how certain qb's on our team might be a better option. It doesn't fuggin matter if you type the sh-- out of this crusade your taking part of. Type away haters. The fact of the matter is it's JP's job and they're going to stick with him for the next couple years. Experience is what JP needs and this coaching staff isn't going to yank him like MM and TD did. So those of you who have spent countless days and nights typing up your anti-Losman novels keep them coming I'm sure Jauron and Levy are taking your opinion to heart.
  7. Funny story. But serioulsy and this is no joke. The company I work for hires foreigners from Europe to South America pretty much on a regular basis. They're students, smart people and are here in the US to earn extra money for tuition. There has been a couple of circumstances where I have had to pulll them aside and tell them, (grown men) look it's everybodies responsibility to wear deodorant. My question is, can't they fuggin smell it themselves? I know when I need it.
  8. Run D including the red zone d as a unit.
  9. It is now with the loss to the Jets. Williams and Williams are a scary duo for this team. Willis might have a hard time running up the gut. On the other side Hutch and Mc Kinnie anchor the line with an under-rated Taylor in the back field he could gash us for some yards. So yeah.. More so.
  10. Looking at the schedule up until the bye week we have in order: Minnesota, @Chicago, @Detroit and then the Pats at home. This game in my eyes is a must win if we are to have any hope of making the playoffs or maybe even breaking even for the year (which would be an improvement). My point being, this team needs to learn how to win on a consistant basis and by doing it at home in the Ralph in particular. So I look at these games and granted Chicago is a pipe dream for all of us but they have to get this thing back on track this weekend at home. If not this thing could snowball, losing is contegeous much like winning. Detroit is an away game and much like us they are young and capable of beating us if we aren't on our game. Then New Engalnd.. Well Fred Smerlas seems to think they are the best team in football so draw up your own conclusions. The Minnesota game could either put us in a 1-5 hole going into Detroit (if Chicago wins) or if we win send us to Chicago @ 2-2 with a little extra confidence. This game is going to be won in the trenches.
  11. "Mc Nair can't read defenses". WTF?
  12. He probably feels obligated due to the fact that Rocky 5 was the worst movie that Sly was ever in. Then again Cobra was crappy too. And then there was Over The Top that was well.....
  13. Erik Kuselias on the Sports Bash (fomerly The Sports Brothers) is the only one worth listening to on ESPN radio imo. Everyone else is just a talking head.
  14. I was watching that show just lil while ago with a buddy. Then they showed the Carson Palmer story. Was it just me or was that strange and not really news worthy? Odd. These little tid bits on the players and listening to marino talk killed me. I seriously couldn't belive he took the Pats over the Bengals, who are at home. He was the only one and sad "iI don't see Brady and the Pats losing back-to-back games, even if they are on the road". Huh? Watch football lately Dan?
  15. Another link. Whitner as well as the San Diego tackle Mc Neill, named rookies of the month.
  16. The draft day thread.
  17. Looking for the Whitner thread when he was drafted. Always fun to see what everyones reaction was..
  18. I think it's the other way around with this team. If sacks are going to be more abundant, it's due to coverage in the secondary.
  19. Pass interference much?
  20. Link With 9 trips to the redzone so far this year we have walked away with 33 points. 3 touchdowns and 4 field goals. Are touchdown average is 33.3%. Not so good. Our opponents have been in the red-zone 7 times and have scored 5 touchdowns and 1 field goal. Their percentage is 71.4% in touchdown average. We are ranked 24 on offense in red zone touchdown percentage and tied for 31st overall on defense in the red-zone. Ouch, looks like our red-zone play needs major help on both sides of the ball.
  21. It's a mystery..... I think he was referring to Losman stating that the team doesn't care about what the media thinks or writes about them. That's all.
  22. This isn't, in my eyes going to be a walk in the park. I really can't see the Bills pulling this one off. And if they do it's by 3 or less. Minnesota is definetly on the right track and they have a very dangerous rb now in Talylor with Richardson leading the way. If the Vikes don't get "pass happy" and keep it on the ground they win easy. Thanks Lori.

  24. Truly this guy is an attention whore. Look at all the events that have taken place in his career and convince me that this wasn't set up by him, his agent and the media. It's really that simple.
  25. Mt. Arab Lake near Tupper.
