not a yankees fan at all, but i'm slowly starting to root for this team. i think it's because of the hate towards the red sox faithful.

willis's ypc now is at 4.1 compared to travis's 3.7 now. and if the line is "regresssing" so much in the run blocking how in the hell did he run for 100+ yards yesterday?

no thats not it at all. i'm for keeping both of them. but, play the better of the two. willis has vision and can find the hole that travis can't. willis is a better blocker... watch the tape. willis is a better pass catcher. willis gets more yards after initial contact. and above all he is a team player. whenever henry is on the field you NEVER see willis sitting on the bench with his helmet off like henry did yesterday. he is always standing on the sidelines next to the coaches ready to play. not stairing up at the sky with his helmet off like travis was during the game yesterday.

you are right with the fact that travis won't take himself out of the games. but, mularkey and clements need to act on that asap if there is an issue there.

i don't know if that's the ticket either. i really feel that we need a strong dose of both of them. which we haven't seen in weeks past. however willis needs to start. which will make travis play better and keep willis playing the way he did yesterday.

maybe, but is he an upgrade from what we all saw yesterday? i'm not saying just the yardage willis had. in all aspects blocking, catching and heart (ie.. leg drive when he appeared to be stopped). i really like henry but i think willis brings more things to the table.

good point. thats the thing i hope they tried to do with shaw as well. why just put a player out there for whoever to pick up, without trying to get something for him first?

Baltimore's secondary is one of the best in the league imo. i think the absense of jl is the only reason why we can hang with this team.
