I can dream right????????
Maybe the Bills struck gold here.
-
Bills also have the Rams 4th this year.
-
I am not worried about who the Bills draft in the first round.
They need to make their hay the rest of this draft. FOR ONCE.
-
I like Chris Godwin in the third round for WR value.
2nd round is anyone's guess.
I can see the Bills trying to trade down and try and get a 4th rounder in return.
-
Sleeper pick of them "all"
I was so excited to post this thread that I forgot to finish the title.
Lol
-
That team rose and then fell just as quickly.
The 82 strike hurt a lot of teams, but it DESTROYED the Bills.
If the strike didn't happen that 82 Bills team could have been the one.
-
It's not a need persay, but could Barnett be the best available player at 10?
And would you like this pick?
Cause it's going to be awfully difficult to trade down.
-
Unless Hooker or Adams fall to 10...................
I think the Bills are going to be very active in the trade market this draft and try to accumulate a ton of picks, maybe even get an extra 1st rounder next year in a QB deep class.
Well, next year is supposedly a deep QB class. We shall see.

I guess we can forget about the Kouandjio to LT and Glenn to RT experiment.
Looks like RT is still a major weakness.
Oh well.
-
This stupid Russian thing will never end.
Either provide the evidence or shut the heck up about it. Case closed.
-
Pumphrey would be the best RB in this class if he wasn't soooooooooooo small.
175 lbs for a RB is suicide.
-
I vote for Angela Rye.
She is nothing but a race baiting troll.
Who is yours?

Not much can be said now of Whaley........ just let him do his job.
It goes back to when the Pegula's first took over. They should have fired EVERYONE the instant they put pen to paper when they bought the team.
Whaley is getting his chance to get his team out of the mud and quickly. It is up to him to hit an immediate home run with this draft. If his draft choices this year provide very little immediate help to a team that desperately needs it, then he should be shown the door at the end of 2017.
I know it's a crappy deal for Whaley, but he put himself in this situation.

Picking up his 5th year option would not preclude him signing a LTD. He is eligible to sign a LTD now. Players have to complete their 3rd league year before doing so and he's done that. Also of note: the option is guaranteed for injury only and may be rescinded up until the first day of the league year of the option. That's a day in early March 2018 for Watkins. No reason not to pick it up now. As I mentioned earlier, it doesn't make sense to do a LTD for him yet though.
Then this is a story about nothing with what you said here.
-
Seems like a no-brainer to me.
What would WR corps look like without Sammy Watkins right now?
Pretty darn simple, unless, of course, they are working on a long term deal.
-
Do you really want the Bills to select a QB early (rounds 1-3) in this draft?
Assuming, of course, there are no trades.
I am truly on the fence about this, but if I had a gun to my head.......... the Bills should just roll with TT, Jones and Yates for 2017.
What is your honest answer?
As mine is NO.

I am from Kearny, NJ and now live in Levittown, NY, which is Long Island.
I became a Bills fan back in 82.
In 81, when I was 9 years old, my fandom was all over the place. So, my father, who was a big Jets fan, told me to pick a team or face a lifetime of persecution, lol.
So, the Bills and Jets happened to be playing the 81 Wild Card game at the time and I told my father I will root for whichever team wins this game.
It just so happened that I was rooting for the Bills during the game anyways cause the entire crowd was for the Jets. I was always rooting for the bad guys when I was young, lol.
So that's the strange story of me becoming a Bills fan.

I am an advocate for trading down, SEVERAL TIMES, but the problem is finding trade partners.
We shall see.
-
My personal preferences............
If they don't trade down.........
1. By some miracle Hooker slides to ten, a Bills employee should run and tackle Goodell right after the ninth selection so he can't get off the podium for the Bills to make the selection in record quick time.
2. Corey Davis
3. OJ Howard
But, I am looking to make SEVERAL trades down and getting lots of pucks. It's the best way to build depth for 2017.

I know the Pats were looking into acquiring him.
I know there are a million factors that say forget about this stupid idea about the Bills getting him. I fully understand that.
However is their a scenario where the Bills can put their hat into Hopkins ring if Houston and him come to an impasse?
-
Can the Bills get Anzalone later in the draft due his medical history?
And, if so, could be great value later in the draft.
This is how Whaley can win the draft.............. getting value after the 4th round. Something he has failed at miserably, but he needs to atone for it NOW.
-
If the Bills don't go WR in round one (maybe they trade down).............
Chris Godwin is a name to keep an eye on in round two.
I guess the biggest question for the Bills might be is does Ross, Williams, Davis provide more value at 10 or does waiting to draft Godwin at 44 present bigger value?
Who knows, but Godwin is a name to keep an eye on.

There goes another comp pick
Gilmore and Woods have signed for huge money and the Bills haven't brought in a huge money FA (Hyde is the closest).
The Bills are still in line for getting a 3rd and 4th next year.
Anyways, how many of these comp picks actually work out?

Does there seem to be major steam for the Bills taking Mahomes at 10 or am I reading way too much into it?
Also, who would want Mahomes at 10?

If this is true, I would be going out of my mind if I was a Sabres.
I wouldn't trust giving Brandon a grocery list to do my shopping, let alone having significant say in two sports franchises. That's right TWO.....TWO.
Its beyond bad enough that he has ridiculous power with the Bills.
If the Pegula's can show Whaley the door, then the same goes for the clown Brandon.
Mike Francesa's pegging of the Pegula's being the Beverly Hillbillies might be SPOT ON. We may have went from one bad ownership to another.
I hope the Pegula's get better, but right now the franchise we root for is out in left field with no mit and we don't deserve the buffoonery that has gone on since 1960.
This mess has to stop now.
FIRE BRANDON too Pegula.
