Discipline! Culture! and what not

It's only preseason, but these penalties are aggravating.

Unlike most, I think the Bills could actually be pretty good this year and McCoy is the BIGGEST reason that I have this opinion.
But if the Bills are 1-5 at the deadline, they should trade McCoy as teams In SB contention, who need a RB, could be lining up to acquire McCoy and maybe even Wood.

Peterman reminds me a little of Rich Gannon.

The Bills could be a big surprise this year.
But the BIG problem for me is that I don't like Taylor and I think he will be benched during the year for the rookie.
I see this a mile away. But if Taylor surprises me, game on.

Kelly was 3-0 against Marino when it REALLY mattered, killing him each time.
With that said, Marino NEVER had a RB like Thurman (or even Kenneth Davis for that matter), so it's simply an unfair comparison.
Or give Marino TD late in his career, like Elway, and he might have went out on top.
Marino basically had the weight of the entire team on his back throughout his career.
It's pretty unfair to compare Marino with all time greats, cause the other all time greats had much better support.

Vlad and Mills is the worst right side of the OL in Bills history.
It might be the all time worst in NFL history.
It's that bad.
I hope McDermott and staff are smarter than this.

I don't get the Reggie hate. Did he use ranch on his wings or something? He busts his butt from what I've seen and is exactly a year removed from surgery. Give the dude a break.
Somewhat interested in getting a speed guy like Dorsett but isn't he always hurt?
Even with all Ragland has been through, they seem to be down on him and he might be close to being cut.
I'm all for laying off the kid, but it's what McDermott thinks that counts.

When Glenn gets back, just roll with Miller and Dawkins on the right side.
They drafted Dawkins to end the mess at RT, so just live with his growing pains.
And even though Miller is inexperienced in this type of offense, live with his growing pains too.
Cause you can't get much worse than Vlad and Mills on the right side.

It's a crapshoot and the the Bills have been rolling up duds for 17 years.
Given the recent history and the new regime, I am ok with whatever 2017 brings as long as future returns are bright.
I think this new regime is here for the long haul and let's hope this team becomes a major contender for years to come, with solid drafting, FOR ONCE.

Let's see how it works out before rushing to judgment.
The Bills brass thinks Watkins is going to have a difficult time staying on the field. Otherwise, this move is NEVER made.
First, they didn't pick up Watkins option and then they saw him out on the field. The concerns were still there, so they dealt him away.
Let's wait and see what the draft pick brings in return.
Gaines might work out, but you never know.

Peterman could very well end up as the franchise QB. You never freaking know.
But, Peterman could look like God in his rookie season and there is a 99% chance the Bills will still take a QB very high, if they end up picking very high in the 2018 draft.

No there aren't. The Jets are making a run, not the Bills. The Bills are hovering around 5 wins, not bad enough to get a top QB.
Tom Brady was a 6th round pick
Drew Brees was a 2nd round pick
Aaron Rodgers was drafted 24th overall
Joe Flacco was 18th overall
Big Ben was 11th overall
Kirk Cousins was a 4th round pick
Derek Carr was a 2nd round pick
You can get your franchise QB from almost any draft position. It's all about coaching a QB up, along with having talent. Is Dennison a good enough coach to coach up whatever QB the Bills bring in. That is the biggest question.

I'm not sure how the future looks so much brighter due to a 2nd round draft pick, vs a talented WR that finally looks to be healthy again. But Ok.
They see it differently.
I'll just see how it plays out before I bash them.

They don't trust Sammy staying on the field and Darby wasn't a fit.
Pretty simple for me.
Head scratcher on the surface, but very understandable.
We won't know the returns on these trades for a few years.
We can't get on a new regime for trading away players from previous failing regimes.
Bills could still be a good team this year, but FOR ONCE, look like they have a real future.
